Jeremiah 1
1 The wordis of Jeremye, sone of Helchie, of the preestis that weren in Anathot, in the lond of Beniamyn.

2 For the word of the Lord was maad to hym in the daies of Josie, the sone of Amon, kyng of Juda, in the threttenethe yeer of his rewme.
Miabot kaniya ang pulong ni Yahweh sa mga adlaw ni Josia nga anak nga lalaki ni Amon, nga hari sa Juda, sa ikanapulog tulo ka tuig sa iyang paghari.
3 And it was don in the daies of Joachym, the sone of Josie, the king of Juda, til to the endyng of the enleuenthe yeer of Sedechie, sone of Josie, kyng of Juda, til the passyng ouer, ether caitifte, of Jerusalem, in the fyuethe monethe.
Miabot usab kini sa mga adlaw ni Jehoyakim nga anak nga lalaki ni Josia, ang hari sa Juda, hangtod sa ikalima nga bulan sa ikanapulog usa ka tuig ni Zedekia nga anak ni Josia, ang hari sa Juda, sa dihang gikuha ang katawhan sa Jerusalem ingon nga mga binilanggo.
4 And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
Miabot kanako ang pulong ni Yahweh, nga nag-ingon,
5 and seide, Bifor that Y fourmede thee in the wombe, Y knewe thee; and bifor that thou yedist out of the wombe, Y halewide thee; and Y yaf thee a profete among folkis.
“Gipili ko na ikaw; sa wala ko pa ikaw gihulma sa tagoangkan, gilain ko na ikaw sa wala ka pa nahimugso gikan sa tagoangkan; gihimo ko na ikaw nga propeta sa kanasoran.”
6 And Y seide, A! A! A! Lord God, lo! Y kan not speke, for Y am a child.
Ah, Ginoong Yahweh!” Miingon ako, “Dili ako kahibalo mamulong, tungod kay batan-on pa kaayo ako.”
7 And the Lord seide to me, Nyle thou seie, that Y am a child; for thou schalt go to alle thingis, to whiche Y schal sende thee, and thou schalt speke alle thingis, what euer thingis Y schal comaunde to thee.
Apan miingon si Yahweh kanako, “Ayaw pagsulti nga, 'Batan-on pa kaayo ako.' Kinahanglan nga molakaw ka bisan asa ko ikaw ipadala, ug kinahanglan nimong isulti kung unsa ang gimando ko kanimo!
8 Drede thou not of the face of hem, for Y am with thee, to delyuere thee, seith the Lord.
Ayaw kahadlok kanila, kay mag-uban ako kanimo aron sa pagluwas kanimo—mao kini ang pahayag ni Yahweh.”
9 And the Lord sente his hond, and touchide my mouth; and the Lord seide to me, Lo! Y haue youe my wordis in thi mouth; lo!
Unya gituy-od ni Yahweh ang iyang kamot ug gihikap ang akong baba, ug miingon kanako, “Karon, gibutang ko na ang akong pulong sa imong baba.
10 Y haue ordeynede thee to day on folkis, and on rewmes, that thou drawe vp, and distrie, and leese, and scatere, and bilde, and plaunte.
Gipili ko ikaw karon ibabaw sa mga nasod ug ibabaw sa mga gingharian, aron sa pag-ibot ug sa paggun-ob, aron sa paglaglag ug pagpukan, aron sa pagtukod ug sa pagtanom.”
11 And the word of the Lord was maad to me, and seide, What seest thou, Jeremye?
Miabot kanako ang pulong ni Yahweh, nga nag-ingon, “Unsa man ang imong nakita, Jeremias?” Miingon ako, “Nakita ko ang usa ka sanga sa kahoy nga almond.”
12 And Y seide, Y se a yerde wakynge. And the Lord seide to me, Thou hast seen wel, for Y schal wake on my word, to do it.
Miingon si Yahweh kanako, “Husto ang imong nakita, kay nagabantay ako sa akong pulong aron nga matuman kini.”
13 And the word of the Lord was maad the secounde tyme to me, and seide, What seest thou? Y se a pot buylynge, and the face therof fro the face of the north.
Miabot kanako ang pulong ni Yahweh sa ikaduhang higayon, nga nag-ingon, “Unsa man ang imong nakita?” Miingon ako, “Nakita ko ang gipainit nga kolon nga nagbukal-bukal, nag-atubang kini gikan sa amihanan.”
14 And the Lord seide to me, Fro the north schal be schewid al yuel on alle the dwelleris of the lond.
Miingon si Yahweh kanako, “Moabot ang katalagman gikan sa amihanang bahin, ngadto sa tanang namuyo niini nga yuta.
15 For lo! Y schal clepe togidere alle the naciouns of rewmes of the north, seith the Lord, and thei schulen come, and sette ech man his seete in the entryng of the yatis of Jerusalem, and on alle the wallis therof in cumpas, and on alle the citees of Juda.
Kay pagatawgon ko ang tanang tribo sa amihanang mga gingharian, gipahayag ni Yahweh. Moabot sila, ug magtukod ang matag usa sa iyang trono sa agianan sa mga ganghaan sa Jerusalem, batok sa tanang mga paril nga nakapalibot niini, ug batok sa tanang mga siyudad sa Juda.
16 And Y schal speke my domes with hem on al the malice of hem, that forsoken me, and maden sacrifice to alien goddis, and worschipiden the werk of her hondis.
Magpahayag ako ug silot batok kanila alang sa ilang daotang binuhatan sa pagsalikway kanako, sa pagsunog ug insenso ngadto sa laing mga dios, ug sa pagsimba sa mga binuhat sa ilang mga kamot.
17 Therfor girde thou thi leendis, and rise thou, and speke to hem alle thingis whiche Y comaunde to thee; drede thou not of the face of hem, for Y schal not make thee for to drede the cheer of hem.
Andama ang imong kaugalingon! Barog ug isulti kanila ang gisugo ko kanimo. Ayaw kalisang sa ilang atubangan, o lisangon ko ikaw sa ilang atubangan!
18 For Y yaf thee to dai in to a strong citee, and in to an yrun piler, and in to a brasun wal, on al the lond, to the kyngis of Juda, and to the princis therof, and to the preestis therof, and to al the puple of the lond.
Tan-awa! Karon gihimo ko ikaw nga sama sa lig-on nga siyudad, usa ka puthaw nga haligi, ug tumbaga nga mga paril batok sa tibuok yuta—batok sa mga hari sa Juda, sa mga opisyal niini, sa mga pari niini ug sa katawhan sa yuta.
19 And thei schulen fiyte ayens thee, and thei schulen not haue the maistrie; for Y am with thee, seith the Lord, that Y delyuere thee.
Makig-away sila batok kanimo, apan dili sila makapildi kanimo, kay mag-uban ako aron sa pagluwas kanimo—mao kini ang pahayag ni Yahweh.”
