Deuteronomy 6
1 These ben the comaundementis, and cerymonyes, and domes, whiche youre Lord God comaundide that Y schulde teche you, and that ye do tho in the lond to which ye passen ouer to welde;
ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ଅଧିକାର କରିବାକୁ ପାର ହୋଇ ଯାଉଅଛ, ସେହି ଦେଶରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଳନାର୍ଥେ ଏହିସବୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଓ ବିଧି ଓ ଶାସନ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶିଖାଇବା ପାଇଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି।
2 that thou drede thi Lord God, and kepe alle hise comaundementis, and heestis, whiche Y comaunde to thee, and to thi sones, and sones of sones, in alle the daies of thi lijf, that thi daies be lengthid.
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ଯେଉଁ ସକଳ ବିଧି ଓ ଆଜ୍ଞା ମୁଁ ଆଦେଶ କରେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାବଜ୍ଜୀବନ ପୁତ୍ରପୌତ୍ରାଦିକ୍ରମେ ତାହା ପାଳନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦୀର୍ଘାୟୁ ହେବ।
3 Thou Israel, here, and kepe, that thou do tho thingis whiche the Lord comaundide to thee, and that it be wel to thee, and thou be multiplied more, as the Lord God of thi fadris bihiyte, to yyue to thee a lond flowynge with mylk and hony.
ଏହେତୁ ହେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ, ଶୁଣ ଓ ତାହା ପାଳନ କରିବାକୁ ମନୋଯୋଗ କର; ତହିଁରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଯେରୂପ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତଦନୁସାରେ ଦୁଗ୍ଧ ଓ ମଧୁ ପ୍ରବାହୀ ଦେଶରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମଙ୍ଗଳ ହେବ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅତିଶୟ ବର୍ଦ୍ଧିଷ୍ଣୁ ହେବ।
4 Thou Israel, here, thi Lord God is o God.
ହେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ, ଶୁଣ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଏକମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଟନ୍ତି।
5 Thou schalt loue thi Lord God of al thin herte, and of al thi soule, and of al thi strengthe.
ଏନିମନ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ସମସ୍ତ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ, ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରାଣ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ଶକ୍ତି ସହିତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରେମ କରିବ।
6 And these wordis whiche Y comaunde to thee to dai, schulen be in thin herte;
ପୁଣି ଏହି ଯେଉଁ ସକଳ କଥା ମୁଁ ଆଜି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା କରୁଅଛି, ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ହୃଦୟରେ ରଖିବ।
7 and thou schalt telle tho to thi sones, and thou schalt thenke on tho, sittynge in thin hows, and goynge in the weie, slepynge, and rysinge.
ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ଯତ୍ନପୂର୍ବକ ତାହା ଶିଖାଇବ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଗୃହରେ ବସିବା ବେଳେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପଥରେ ଚାଲିବା ବେଳେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଶୟନ କରିବା ବେଳେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଉଠିବା ବେଳେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ସେ ବିଷୟରେ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା କରିବ।
8 And thou schalt bynde tho as a signe in thin hond; and tho schulen be, and schulen be moued bifor thin iyen; and thou schalt write tho in the lyntel,
ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଚିହ୍ନସ୍ୱରୂପ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତରେ ତାହା ବାନ୍ଧିବ ଓ ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭ ଚକ୍ଷୁଦ୍ୱୟ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଭୂଷଣ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେବ।
9 and in the doris of thin hows.
ଆହୁରି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଗୃହଦ୍ୱାର ଚଉକାଠରେ ଓ ବାହାର ଦ୍ୱାରରେ ତାହା ଲେଖିବ।
10 And whanne thi Lord God hath brouyt thee in to the lond, for which he swoor to thi fadris, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and hath youe to thee grete citees, and beeste, whiche thou bildidist not,
ତୁମ୍ଭ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷ ଅବ୍ରହାମ, ଇସ୍ହାକ ଓ ଯାକୁବ ନିକଟରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ଶପଥ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେହି ଦେଶରେ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ କରାଇଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାହା ନିର୍ମାଣ କରି ନାହଁ, ଏପରି ବୃହତ ଓ ସୁନ୍ଦର ନଗର,
11 housis fulle of alle richessis, whiche thou madist not, and cisternes, which thou diggedist not, `places of vynes, and `places of olyues, whiche thou plauntidist not,
ଆଉ ଯାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରି ନାହଁ, ଏପରି ସକଳ ଉତ୍ତମ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଗୃହ ଓ ଯାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଖୋଳିଲ ନାହିଁ, ଏପରି ଖୋଦିତ କୂପ, ଯାହା ରୋପଣ କଲ ନାହିଁ, ଏପରି ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାକ୍ଷେତ୍ର ଓ ଜୀତବୃକ୍ଷ ପାଇ ଯେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଭୋଗ କରି ତୃପ୍ତ ହେବ,
12 and thou hast ete, and art fillid,
ସେତେବେଳେ ସାବଧାନ, ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦାସ୍ୟଗୃହରୂପ ମିସର ଦେଶରୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେହି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ପାସୋର ନାହିଁ।
13 be war diligentli, lest thou foryete the Lord, that ladde thee out of the lond of Egipt, fro the hows of seruage. Thou schalt drede thi Lord God, and thou schalt serue hym aloone, `bi seruyce due to God onely, and thou schalt swere bi his name.
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରିବ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ସେବା କରିବ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ଶପଥ କରିବ।
14 Ye schulen not go aftir alien goddis, of alle hethen men that ben `in youre cumpas;
ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେବଗଣର, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗସ୍ଥ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶୀୟ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଦେବଗଣର ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ଗାମୀ ହେବ ନାହିଁ;
15 for God is a feruent louyere, thi Lord God is in the myddis of thee, lest ony tyme the `strong veniaunce of thi Lord God be wrooth ayens thee, and do awei thee fro `the face of the erthe.
ହେଲେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ କ୍ରୋଧ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ହେବ ଓ ସେ ଭୂମଣ୍ଡଳରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବିନାଶ କରିବେ; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମଧ୍ୟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ସ୍ୱଗୌରବ ରକ୍ଷଣରେ ଉଦ୍ଯୋଗୀ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅଟନ୍ତି।
16 Thou schalt not tempte thi Lord God, as thou temptidist in the place of temptyng.
ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମଃସାରେ ଯେପରି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରିଥିଲ, ସେପରି ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରିବ ନାହିଁ।
17 Kepe thou the comaundementis of thi Lord God, and the witnessyngis, and cerymonyes, whiche he comaundide to thee;
ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଆଦିଷ୍ଟ ସମସ୍ତ ଆଜ୍ଞା, ତାହାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରମାଣ-ବାକ୍ୟ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିଧି ଯତ୍ନପୂର୍ବକ ପାଳନ କରିବ।
18 and do thou that that is plesaunt and good in the siyt of the Lord, that it be wel to thee, and that thou entre, and welde the beste lond, of which the Lord swoor to thi fadris,
ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଯାହା ନ୍ୟାୟ ଓ ଉତ୍ତମ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହା କରିବ; ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମଙ୍ଗଳ ହେବ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ବାକ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସମସ୍ତ ଶତ୍ରୁଙ୍କୁ ଦୂର କରିବା ପାଇଁ,
19 that he schulde do awey alle thin enemyes bifor thee, as he spak.
ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ବିଷୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଶପଥ କରିଥିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେହି ଉତ୍ତମ ଦେଶରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରି ତାହା ଅଧିକାର କରିବ।
20 And whanne thi sone schal axe thee to morewe, that is, in tyme comyng, and schal seie, What wolen these witnessyngis, and cerymonyes, and domes to hem silf, whiche oure Lord God comaundide to vs?
“ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ସକଳ ପ୍ରମାଣ-ବାକ୍ୟ ଓ ବିଧି ଓ ଶାସନ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେସବୁର ଅଭିପ୍ରାୟ କଅଣ?” ଏହା ଭବିଷ୍ୟତ କାଳରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସନ୍ତାନ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପଚାରିଲେ,
21 thou schalt seie to hym, We weren `seruauntis of Farao in Egipt, and the Lord ledde vs out of Egipt, in strong hond;
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ସନ୍ତାନକୁ କହିବ, “ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମିସରରେ ଫାରୋର ବନ୍ଧାଦାସ ଥିଲୁ; ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ବଳବାନ ହସ୍ତ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମିସରରୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଲେ;
22 and he dide myraclis, and grete wondris, and werste, `that is, moost peyneful veniaunces, in Egipt, ayens Farao and al his hows, in oure siyt.
ଆଉ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ମିସର ପ୍ରତି, ଫାରୋଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ପରିବାର ପ୍ରତି, ମହତ୍ ଓ କ୍ଳେଶଦାୟକ ଚିହ୍ନ ଓ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରିୟା ଦେଖାଇଲେ।
23 And he ledde vs out therof, that he schulde yyue to vs led yn, the lond of which he swoor to oure fadris.
ପୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ବିଷୟରେ ଶପଥ କରିଥିଲେ, ସେ ଦେଶରେ ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପହଞ୍ଚାଇ ତାହା ଦେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ମିସରରୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଲେ।
24 And the Lord comaundide to vs, that we do alle these lawful thingis, and drede oure Lord God, that it be wel to vs in alle the daies of oure lijf, as it is to dai.
ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆଜି ଦିନ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଯେପରି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜୀବିତ ରଖିବେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିତ୍ୟ ମଙ୍ଗଳ ନିମନ୍ତେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଳନାର୍ଥେ ଏହି ସକଳ ବିଧି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା କଲେ।
25 And he schal be merciful to vs, if we schulen do and kepe alle hise heestis, bifor oure Lord God, as he comaundide to vs.
ଆଉ ଯେବେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କରିବାକୁ ମନୋଯୋଗ କରିବା, ତେବେ ତାହା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଧାର୍ମିକତା ହେବ।”
