Colossians 2

1 But Y wole that ye wite, what bisynesse Y haue for you, and for hem that ben at Laodice, and whiche euere saien not my face in fleisch,

ನಿಮಗಾಗಿಯೂ ಲವೊದಿಕೀಯದವರಿಗಾಗಿಯೂ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಭೇಟಿಯಾಗದವರಿಗಾಗಿಯೂ ನಾನು ಎಷ್ಟು ಶ್ರಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದಿರಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

2 that her hertis ben coumfortid, and thei ben tauyt in charite, in to alle the richessis of the plente of the vndurstondyng, in to the knowyng of mysterie of God, the fadir of Jhesu Crist,

ಅವರು ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತೇಜನಗೊಂಡು, ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾಗಿ, ದೇವರ ರಹಸ್ಯವಾಗಿರುವ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಪೂರ್ಣಜ್ಞಾನದ ಸರ್ವ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವನ್ನು ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದಬೇಕೆಂಬುದೇ ನನ್ನ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

3 in whom alle the tresouris of wisdom and of science ben hid.

ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಕ್ಷೇಪಗಳೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಮರೆಯಾಗಿವೆ.

4 For this thing Y seie, that no man disseyue you in heiythe of wordis.

ಯಾರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ತರ್ಕದ ನಯಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ವಂಚಿಸಬಾರದೆಂದು ನಾನು ಇದನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

5 For thouy Y be absent in bodi, bi spirit Y am with you, ioiynge and seynge youre ordre and the sadnesse of youre bileue that is in Crist.

ನಾನು ಶಾರೀರಿಕವಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಆತ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗಿದ್ದು ನೀವು ಎಷ್ಟು ಕ್ರಮವುಳ್ಳವರೆಂಬುದನ್ನೂ, ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಎಷ್ಟು ದೃಢವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನೂ, ನೋಡಿ ನನಗೆ ಆನಂದವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

6 Therfor as ye han takun Jhesu Crist oure Lord,

ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಕರ್ತ ಎಂದು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಳಿರಿ.

7 walke ye in hym, and be ye rootid and bieldid aboue in hym, and confermyd in the bileue, as ye han lerud, aboundinge in hym in doynge of thankyngis.

ನೀವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೂರಿದವರಾಗಿಯೂ ಕಟ್ಟಲಾದವರಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದು, ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೋಧನೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಹೊಂದಿ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿ ಪ್ರವಾಹಿಸುವವರಾಗಿರಿ.

8 Se ye that no man disseyue you bi filosofie and veyn fallace, aftir the tradicioun of men, aftir the elementis of the world, and not aftir Crist.

ತತ್ವಜ್ಞಾನವೂ ನಿರರ್ಥಕವೂ ವಂಚನೆಯೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಬಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಂತೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿಂದಿರಿ. ಅಂಥವರು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸದೆ, ಪ್ರಾಪಂಚಿಕ ಬಾಲಬೋಧನೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅನುಸರಿಸುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

9 For in hym dwellith bodilich al the fulnesse of the Godhed.

ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವರ ಸರ್ವಸಂಪೂರ್ಣತೆಯು ಮಾನವ ದೇಹವಾಗಿ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದೆ.

10 And ye ben fillid in hym, that is heed of al principat and power.

ನೀವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಅವರೇ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಳಿಕೆಗೂ, ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೂ ಶಿರಸ್ಸಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

11 In whom also ye ben circumcidid in circumcisioun not maad with hoond, in dispoyling of the bodi of fleisch, but in circumcisioun of Crist;

ನೀವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ ಸುನ್ನತಿಯು ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾಂಸಭಾವವನ್ನು ಆಳುವ ಇಡೀ ಸ್ವಾರ್ಥವನ್ನೇ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡುವ ಆತ್ಮಿಕ ಸುನ್ನತಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

12 and ye ben biried togidere with hym in baptim, in whom also ye han rise ayen bi feith of the worching of God, that reiside hym fro deth.

ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಿಯಾದಿರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಮರಣದಿಂದ ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದ ದೇವರ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಡುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ನೀವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮರಣದಿಂದ ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದು ಬಂದಿರಿ.

13 And whanne ye weren deed in giltis, and in the prepucie of youre fleisch, he quikenyde togidere you with hym;

ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸುನ್ನತಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಪಾಪ ಸ್ವಭಾವದಿಂದಲೂ ಸತ್ತವರಾಗಿದ್ದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದೇವರು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಜೀವಿತರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿದರು.

14 foryyuynge to you alle giltis, doynge awei that writing of decre that was ayens vs, that was contrarie to vs; and he took awei that fro the myddil, pitchinge it on the cros;

ನಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ನಿಂತು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ತಪ್ಪು ಹೊರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಬರೆಯಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಶಾಸನಗಳನ್ನು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸು ರದ್ದುಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಶಿಲುಬೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಜಡಿದು ಇಲ್ಲದಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

15 and he spuylide principatis and poweris, and ledde out tristili, opynli ouercomynge hem in hym silf.

ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವು ಆಳುವ ಅದೃಶ್ಯ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಿರಾಯುಧರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಶಿಲುಬೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಜಯಹೊಂದಿ, ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.

16 Therfor no man iuge you in mete, or in drink, or in part of feeste dai, or of neomenye,

ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ, ಅನ್ನಪಾನಗಳ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹಬ್ಬ ಅಮಾವಾಸ್ಯೆ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನ ಮುಂತಾದವುಗಳ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯಾರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತೀರ್ಪು ಮಾಡದಿರಲಿ.

17 or of sabatis, whiche ben schadewe of thingis to comynge; for the bodi is of Crist.

ಇವು ಬರಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದವುಗಳ ಛಾಯೆಯಾಗಿವೆ, ಆದರೆ ನಿಜಸ್ವರೂಪವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವೇ.

18 No man disseyue you, willynge to teche in mekenesse, and religioun of aungelis, tho thingis whiche he hath not seyn, walkinge veynli, bolnyd with wit of his fleisch,

ಕೆಲವರು ತಾವು ದರ್ಶನ ಕಂಡದ್ದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ತಮ್ಮ ನಿರರ್ಥಕವಾದ ಪ್ರಾಪಂಚಿಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯಿಂದ ಉಬ್ಬಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇಂಥವರು ಕಪಟ ದೀನತೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದೂತರ ಆರಾಧನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಆನಂದಿಸುವವರಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ, ನೀವು ಪ್ರತಿಫಲಹೊಂದದೆ ಇರುವಂತೆ ಅಡ್ಡಿಮಾಡಲು ಅವಕಾಶಕೊಡಬೇಡಿರಿ.

19 and not holdynge the heed, of which al the bodi, bi boondis and ioynyngis togidere vndur mynystrid and maad, wexith in to encreessing of God.

ಇಂಥವರು ಶಿರಸ್ಸಾಗಿರುವ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಿಂದಲೇ ದೇಹವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೀಲು ನರಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಪೋಷಣೆ ಪಡೆದು ಒಂದಾಗಿ ಜೋಡಿಸಲಾಗಿ ದೇವರು ಬೆಳೆಸುವಂತೆ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.

20 For if ye ben deed with Crist fro the elementis of this world, what yit as men lyuynge to the world demen ye?

ಪ್ರಾಪಂಚಿಕ ಬಾಲಬೋಧನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸತ್ತವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ನೀವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಾಪಂಚಿಕ ನಿಯಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಧೀನರಾಗಿರುವುದೇಕೆ?

21 That ye touche not, nether taaste,

“ಹಿಡಿಯಬೇಡ! ರುಚಿನೋಡಬೇಡ! ಮುಟ್ಟಬೇಡ!”

22 nether trete with hoondis tho thingis, whiche alle ben in to deth bi the ilke vss, aftir the comaundementis and the techingis of men;

ಈ ಶಾಸನಗಳು ಮಾನವ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೋಧನೆಗಳ ಅನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಬಳಕೆಯಿಂದ ಅಳಿದುಹೋಗುತ್ತವೆ!

23 whiche han a resoun of wisdom in veyn religioun and mekenesse, and not to spare the bodi, not in ony onour to the fulfillyng of the fleisch.

ಇಂಥ ಉಪದೇಶಗಳು ತಾವೇ ತಂದುಕೊಂಡ ಆರಾಧನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸುಳ್ಳು ದೀನತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದೇಹದಂಡನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಜ್ಞಾನದ ತೋರಿಕೆಯುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿರುವುದು ನಿಜವೇ. ಆದರೆ ಇವು ಶಾರೀರಿಕ ಇಚ್ಛೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಿಲ್ಲದವುಗಳಾಗಿವೆ.
