2 Kings 6
1 Forsothe the sones of prophetis seiden to Elisee, Lo! the place in which we dwellen bifor thee, is streiyt to vs;
Miingon ang mga anak sa mga propeta kang Eliseo, “Ang dapit nga among gipuy-an uban kanimo gamay kaayo alang kanatong tanan.
2 go we `til to Jordan, and ech man take of the wode `a mater for hym silf, that we bild to vs here a place to dwelle.
Palihog moadto kita sa Jordan, ug tugoti nga moputol ug kahoy ang matag lalaki didto, ug magtukod kitag dapit nga atong kapuy-an.” Mitubag si Eliseo, “Makauna na kamo sa paglakaw.”
3 Which Elisee seide, Go ye. And oon of hem seide, Therfor `and thou come with thi seruauntis. He answeride, Y schal come. And he yede with hem.
Miingon ang usa kanila, “Palihog uban sa imong mga sulugoon.” Mitubag si Eliseo, “Mouban ako.”
4 And whanne thei `hadden come to Jordan, thei hewiden trees.
Busa miuban siya kanila, sa dihang miabot sila sa Jordan, nagsugod silag pamutol ug mga kahoy.
5 Sotheli it bifelde, that whanne `o man hadde kit doun mater, the yrun of the axe felde in to the watir; and he criede, and seide, Alas! alas! alas! my lord, and Y hadde take this same thing bi borewing.
Apan samtang nagaputol ang usa, nahulog ang ulo sa atsa ngadto sa tubig; misinggit siya ug miingon, “O dili, akong agalon, hinulaman kini!”
6 Sotheli the man of God seide, Where felde it? And he schewide to hym the place. Therfor he kittide doun a tree, and sente thidur; and the yrun fletide.
Busa miingon ang tawo sa Dios, “Asa man kini nahulog?” Gitudlo sa tawo ang dapit ngadto kang Eliseo. Unya miputol siya ug gamay nga sanga, gilabay kini sa tubig, ug gipalutaw ang puthaw.
7 And he seide, Take thou. Which helde forth the hond, and took it.
Miingon si Eliseo, “Punita kini.” Busa gikab-ot kini sa tawo ug gikuha.
8 Forsothe the kyng of Syrie fauyte ayens Israel; and he took counseil with hise seruauntis, and seide, Sette we buschementis in this place and that.
Karon nakiggubat ang hari sa Aram batok sa Israel. Nagpakisayod siya sa iyang mga sulugoon, nga nag-ingon, “Ang akong kampo maanaa ug maanaa sa maong dapit.”
9 Therfor the man of God sente to the kyng of Israel, and seide, Be war, lest thou passe to that place, for men of Sirie ben there in buschementis.
Busa nagpadala ang tawo sa Dios ngadto sa hari sa Israel, nga nag-ingon, “Pagbantay nga dili ka moagi niana nga dapit, kay molugsong didto ang mga Arameanhon.”
10 Therfor the kyng of Israel sente to the place, which the man of God hadde seid to him, and bifor ocupiede it, and kepte hym silf there not onys, nether twies.
Nagpadala ug mensahe ang hari sa Israel ngadto sa dapit diin mao ang gisulti sa tawo sa Dios nga gipasidaan kaniya. Labaw pa sa makausa o makaduha, nagbantay gayod siya, sa dihang miadto ang hari didto.
11 And the herte of the kyng of Sirie was disturblid for this thing; and whanne hise seruauntis weren clepide togidere, he seide, Whi schewen ye not to me, who is my tretour anentis the kyng of Israel?
Napungot ang hari sa Aram mahitungod niini nga mga pasidaan, ug gitawag niya ang iyang mga sulugoon ug miingon kanila, “Dili ba ninyo ako sultihan kung kinsa kanato dinhi ang dapig sa hari sa Israel?”
12 And oon of hise seruauntis seide, Nay, my lord the kyng, but Elisee, the prophete, which is in Israel, schewith to the kyng of Israel alle thingis, what euer thingis thou spekist in thi closet.
Busa miingon ang usa sa iyang mga sulugoon, “Wala, akong agalon, hari, kay si Eliseo nga propeta sa Israel maoy nagsulti sa hari sa Israel sa mga pulong nga imong gisulti sa imong lawak!”
13 And the kyng seide to hem, `Go ye, and se, where he is, that Y sende, and take hym. And thei telden to him, and seiden, Lo! he dwellith in Dothaym.
Mitubag ang hari, “Lakaw ug tan-awa kung asa si Eliseo aron makapadala ako ug mga tawo ug dakpon siya.” Gisulti kini kaniya, “Tan-awa, anaa siya sa Dotan.”
14 And the kyng sente thidur horsis, and charis, and the strengthe of the oost; whiche, whanne thei hadden come bi nyyt, cumpassiden the citee.
Busa mipadala ang hari ngadto sa Dotan ug mga kabayo, mga karwahe, ug dakong panon sa kasundalohan. Miabot sila panahon sa kagabhion ug gipalibotan ang siyudad.
15 Sotheli the mynystre of the man of God roos eerli, and yede out, and he siy an oost in the cumpas of the citee, and horsis, and charis. And he telde to the man of God, and seide, Alas! alas! alas! my lord, what schulen we do?
Sa dihang mibangon ug sayo ang sulugoon sa tawo sa Dios ug miadto sa gawas, tan-awa, ang dako nga panon sa kasundalohan uban sa mga kabayo ug mga karwahe nakapalibot sa siyudad. Miingon ang iyang sulugoon kaniya, “O, akong agalon! Unsa man ang atong buhaton?”
16 And he answeride, Nile thou drede; for mo ben with vs than with hem.
Mitubag si Eliseo, “Ayaw kahadlok, kay kadtong uban kanato labi pang daghan kaysa kauban nila.”
17 And whanne Elisee hadde preied, he seide, Lord, opene thou the iyen of this child, that he se. And the Lord openyde the iyen of the child, and he siy. And, lo! the hil ful of horsis, and of charis of fier, in the cumpas of Elisee.
Nag-ampo si Eliseo ug miingon, “Yahweh, naghangyo ako kanimo nga ablihan nimo ang iyang mga mata aron makakita siya.” Unya giablihan ni Yahweh ang mga mata sa sulugoon, ug nakakita siya. Tan-awa, napuno ang bukid ug mga kabayo ug mga karwahe nga kalayo palibot kang Eliseo!
18 Sotheli the enemyes camen doun to hym; forsothe Elisee preiede to the Lord, and seide, Y biseche, smyte thou this folc with blyndenesse. And the Lord smoot hem, that thei sien not, bi the word of Elisee.
Sa dihang milugsong ang mga Arameanhon ngadto kaniya, nag-ampo si Eliseo ngadto kang Yahweh ug miingon, “Himoang buta kining mga tawhana, naghangyo ako kanimo.” Busa gibutahan sila ni Yahweh, sumala sa gihangyo ni Eliseo.
19 Forsothe Elisee seide to hem, This is not the weie, nether this is the citee; sue ye me, and Y schal schewe to you the man, whom ye seken. And he ledde hem into Samarie.
Unya giingnan ni Eliseo ang mga Arameanhon, “Dili kini mao ang dalan, ni mao kini ang siyudad. Sunod kanako, ug dad-on ko kamo sa tawo nga inyong gipangita.” Unya gipangulohan niya sila ngadto sa Samaria.
20 And whanne thei hadden entrid into Samarie, Elisee seide, Lord, opene thou the iyen of these men, that thei see. And the Lord openyde her iyen, and thei siyen, that thei weren in the myddis of Samarie.
Nahitabo kini nga sa dihang nakaabot sila didto sa Samaria, miingon si Eliseo, “Yahweh, ablihi ang mga mata niining mga tawhana aron makakita sila.” Giablihan ni Yahweh ang ilang mga mata ug nakakita na sila, ug tan-awa, anaa sila sa taliwala sa siyudad sa Samaria.
21 And the kyng of Israel, whanne he hadde seyn hem, seide to Elisee, My fadir, whether Y schal smyte hem?
Miingon ang hari sa Israel kang Eliseo, sa dihang nakita niya sila, “Amahan ko, pamatyon ko na ba sila? Pamatyon ko na ba sila?”
22 And he seide, Thou schalt not smyte hem, for thou hast not take hem bi thi swerd and bouwe, that thou smyte hem; but sette thou breed and watir bifor hem, that thei ete and drynke, and go to her lord.
Mitubag si Eliseo, “Dili nimo sila patyon. Patyon ba nimo kadtong imong nabihag pinaagi sa imong espada ug pana? Pagbutang ug tinapay ug tubig sa ilang atubangan, aron makakaon sila ug makainom, ug makaadto sa ilang agalon.”
23 And `greet makyng redi of metis was set forth to hem; and thei eten, and drunken. And the kyng lefte hem, and thei yeden to her lord; and theues of Sirie camen no more in to the lond of Israel.
Busa nag-andam ug daghang pagkaon ang hari alang kanila, ug sa dihang nakakaon na sila ug nakainom, gipalakaw na niya sila, ug mibalik sila sa ilang agalon. Kadto nga panon sa kasundalohan nga Arameanhon wala mibalik sa yuta sa Israel sa taas nga panahon.
24 Forsothe it was don after these thingis, Benadab, king of Sirie, gaderide alle his oost, and stiede, and bisegide Samarie.
Pagkahuman niini gitigom ni Ben Hadad nga hari sa Aram ang tanan niyang kasundalohan ug misulong sa Samaria ug gipalibotan kini.
25 And greet hungur was maad in Samarie; and so long it was bisegid, til the heed of an asse were seeld for fourescore platis of siluer, and the fourthe part of a mesure clepid cabus of the crawe of culueris was seeld for fyue platis of siluer.
Busa adunay hilabihang kagutom sa Samaria. Tan-awa, gipalibotan nila kini hangtod nga ang ulo sa asno napalit ug 80 ka buok nga plata, ug ang ikaupat nga bahin sa litro sa iti sa salampati alang sa lima ka buok nga plata.
26 And whanne the kyng of Israel passide bi the wal, sum womman criede to hym, and seide, My lord the kyng, saue thou me.
Samtang miagi ang hari sa Israel diha sa paril, misinggit ang babaye ngadto kaniya, nga nag-ingon, “Tabang, agalon ko, hari.”
27 Which seide, Nai, the Lord saue thee; wherof may Y saue thee? of cornfloor, ethir of pressour? And the kyng seide to hir, What wolt thou to thee?
Miingon siya, “Kung wala ka gitabangan ni Yahweh, unsaon man nako pagtabang kanimo? Aduna bay nagagikan sa giokanan o sa pug-anan ug ubas?”
28 And sche answeride, This womman seide to me, Yyue thi sone, that we ete hym to dai, and we schulen ete my sone to morewe.
Mipadayon ang hari, “Unsa man ang nakasamok kanimo?” Mitubag siya, “Miingon kining babaye kanako, 'Ihatag kanako ang imong anak nga lalaki aron kaonon nato siya karong adlawa, ug atong kaonon ang akong anak nga lalaki ugma.'”
29 Therfor we setheden my sone, and eten him. And Y seide to hir in the tother day, Yyue thi sone, that we ete hym; and she hidde hir sone.
Busa gipabukalan namo ang akong anak nga lalaki ug gikaon siya, ug miingon ako kaniya sa sunod adlaw, “Ihatag ang imong anak aron kan-on nato siya, apan gitagoan na niya ang iyang anak nga lalaki.”
30 And whanne the kyng hadde herd this, he to-rente hise clothis, and passide bi the wal; and al the puple siy the heire, `with which the kyng was clothid at the fleisch with ynne.
Busa sa dihang nadungog sa hari ang mga pulong sa babaye, gigisi niya ang iyang mga bisti (nagaagi siya karon sa paril), ug nagtan-aw kaniya ang mga tawo ug nakakita nga aduna siyay sako sa ilalom nga bahin, sapaw sa iyang panit.
31 And the kyng seide, God do to me these thingis, and adde these thingis, if the heed of Elise, sone of Saphat, schal stonde on hym to dai.
Unya miingon siya, “Hinaot nga buhaton sa Dios kanako, ug labaw pa usab, kung ang ulo ni Eliseo ang anak nga lalaki ni Shafat magpabilin kaniya karong adlawa.”
32 Sotheli Elisee sat in his hows, and elde men saten with hym; `therfor he biforsente a man, and bifor that thilke messanger cam, Elisee seide to the elde men, Whether ye witen, that the sone of manquellere sente hidur, that myn heed be gird of? Therfor se ye, whanne the messanger cometh, close ye the dore, and `suffre ye not hym to entre; for, lo! the sown of the feet of his lord is bihynde hym.
Apan naglingkod si Eliseo didto sa sulod sa iyang balay, ug naglingkod uban kaniya ang mga kadagkoan. Nagpadala ug tawo ang hari gikan sa iyang atubangan, apan sa dihang miabot ang mensahero ngadto kang Eliseo, miingon siya ngadto sa mga kadagkoan, “Tan-awa kung giunsa pagpadala niining anak sa mamumuno aron sa pagkuha sa akong ulo? Tan-awa, sa dihang moabot ang mensahero, sirad-i ang pultahan, ug pugngi ang pultahan nga nasira batok kaniya. Dili ba ang tunob sa mga tiil sa iyang agalon anaa lamang sa iyang luyo?”
33 And yit `while he spak to hem, the messanger that cam to hym apperide; and the kyng seide, Lo! so greet yuel is of the Lord; sotheli what more schal Y abide of the Lord?
Samtang nakigsulti pa siya kanila, tan-awa, milugsong ang mensahero ngadto kaniya. Miingon ang hari, “Tan-awa, kini nga kasamok naggikan kang Yahweh. Nganong kinahanglan paman ako maghulat ug dugay kang Yahweh?”
