1 Chronicles 14
1 And Iram, the kyng of Tyre, sente messageris to Dauid, and `he sente trees of cedre, and werk men of wallis and of trees, that thei schulden bilde to hym an hows.
Ug si Hiram nga hari sa Tiro nagpadala ug mga sulogoon ngadto kang David, ug mga kahoy nga cedro, ug mga magtitiltil sa bato, ug mga panday, aron sa pagtukod alang kaniya ug usa ka balay.
2 And Dauid knewe that the Lord hadde confermyd hym in to kyng on Israel; and that his rewme was reisid on his puple Israel.
Ug nakita ni David nga si Jehova nagpahaluna kaniya nga hari sa ibabaw sa Israel; tungod kay ang iyang gingharian gibayaw, tungod sa iyang katawohan nga Israel.
3 And Dauid took othere wyues in Jerusalem, and gendride sones and douytris.
Ug si David midugang pagbaton ug daghang asawa sa Jerusalem; ug si David nanganak pa pagdugang ug mga anak nga lalake ug mga anak nga babaye.
4 And these ben the names of hem that weren borun to hym in Jerusalem; Sammu, and Sobab, Nathan, and Salomon,
Ug kini mao ang mga ngalan sa mga anak nga iyang nabatonan didto sa Jerusalem: si Samua, ug si Sobab, ug si Nathan, ug si Salomon,
5 Jeber, and Elisu, and Heli, and Eliphalech,
Ug si Ibhar, ug si Elisua, ug si Elephelet,
6 and Noga, and Napheg, and Japhie,
Ug si Noga, ug si Nepeg, ug si Japia,
7 and Elisama, and Baliada, and Eliphelech.
Ug si Elisama, ug si Beeliada ug si Eliphelet.
8 Forsothe the Filisteis herden that Dauid was anoyntid `in to kyng on al Israel, and alle stieden to seke Dauid. And whanne Dauid hadde herd this thing, he yede out ayens hem.
Ug sa diha nga ang mga Filistehanon nakadungog nga si David gidihogan nga hari sa ibabaw sa tibook Israel, ang tanang mga Filistehanon nangadto sa pagpangita kang David: ug si David nakadungog mahitungod niini, ug migula batok kanila.
9 Forsothe Filisteis camen, and weren spred abrood in the valey of Raphaym;
Karon ang mga Filistehanon nangabut ug naghimo ug usa ka pagdasdas diha sa walog sa Raphaim.
10 and Dauid counselide the Lord, and seide, Whether Y schal stie to Filisteis? and whether thou schalt bitake hem in to myn hondis? And the Lord seide to hym, Stie thou, and Y schal bitake hem in thin hond.
Ug si David nangutana sa Dios, nga nagaingon: Moadto ba ako batok sa mga Filistehanon? Ug itugyan mo ba sila sa akong kamot? Ug si Jehova miingon kaniya: Umadto ka kay itugyan ko sila sa imong kamot.
11 And whanne thei hadden styed in to Baal Pharasym, Dauid smoot hem there, and seide, God hath departid myn enemyes bi myn hond, as watris ben departid. And therfor the name of that place was clepid Baal Pharasym; and thei leften there her goddis,
Busa nangadto sila sa Baal-perasim, ug gidaug sila ni David didto: ug si David miingon: Ang Dios nagbungkag sa akong mga kaaway pinaagi sa akong kamot, sama sa pagbahinbahin sa mga katubigan. Busa ilang gitawag ang ngalan nianang dapita nga Baalperasim.
12 which Dauid comaundide to be brent.
Ug ilang gibiyaan ang ilang mga dios didto; ug si David naghatag ug sugo, ug kini gisunog sa kalayo.
13 Forsothe another tyme Filisteis felden in, and weren spred abrood in the valei;
Ug ang mga Filistehanon naghimo pa gayud pag-usab sa usa ka pagdasdas diha sa walog.
14 and eft Dauid counseilide the Lord, and the Lord seide to hym, Thou schalt not stie aftir hem; go awei fro hem, and thou schalt come ayens hem euen ayens the pere trees.
Ug si David nangutana pag-usab sa Dios; ug ang Dios miingon kaniya: Dili ka moadto sa paglutos kanila: bumalik ka gikan kanila, ug umadto ka batok kanila didto sa mga kakahoyan nga morales.
15 And whanne thou schalt here the sowun of a goere in the cop of the pere trees, thanne thou schalt go out to batel; for the Lord is go out byfor thee, to smyte the castels of Filisteis.
Ug nahitabo sa diha nga ikaw makadungog sa lanog sa paglakat sa mga kinatumyan sa mga kahoy nga morales, nga unya ikaw gumula sa pagpakiggubat; kay ang Dios migula sa unahan nimo sa pagdaug sa panon sa mga Filistehanon.
16 Therfor Dauid dide as God comaundide to hym, and he smoot the castels of Filisteis fro Gabaon `til to Gazara.
Ug si David naghimo sumala sa gisugo sa Dios kaniya: ug ilang gidaug ang panon sa mga Filistehanon sukad sa Gabaon bisan hangtud sa Geser.
17 And the name of Dauid was puplischid in alle cuntreis, and the Lord yaf his drede on alle folkis.
Ug ang kabantug ni David milanog sa tanang kayutaan; ug gibutang ni Jehova ang kahadlok kaniya sa ibabaw sa tanang mga nasud.
