Mark 4
1 Again he began to teach by the seaside. A great multitude was gathered to him, so that he entered into a boat in the sea and sat down. All the multitude were on the land by the sea.
ಯೇಸು ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಗಲಿಲಾಯ ಸರೋವರದ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೋಧಿಸಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು. ಜನರು ಗುಂಪುಗುಂಪಾಗಿ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ನೆರೆದು ಬಂದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯೇಸು ಸರೋವರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ದೋಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡರು. ಜನರು ದಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದರು.
2 He taught them many things in parables, and told them in his teaching,
ಯೇಸು ಸಾಮ್ಯಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಅನೇಕ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ:
3 “Listen! Behold, the farmer went out to sow.
“ಕೇಳಿರಿ! ಒಬ್ಬ ರೈತನು ಬಿತ್ತುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟನು.
4 As he sowed, some seed fell by the road, and the birds came and devoured it.
ಅವನು ಬಿತ್ತುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಕೆಲವು ಬೀಜಗಳು ದಾರಿಯ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದವು. ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಬಂದು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಂದುಬಿಟ್ಟವು.
5 Others fell on the rocky ground, where it had little soil, and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of soil.
ಕೆಲವು ಬೀಜಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಣ್ಣಿಲ್ಲದ ಬಂಡೆಯ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದವು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳವಾದ ಮಣ್ಣಿಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ ಅವು ಬೇಗನೆ ಮೊಳೆತವು.
6 When the sun had risen, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
ಆದರೆ ಬಿಸಿಲೇರಿದಾಗ ಅವು ಬಾಡಿಹೋಗಿ, ಬೇರಿಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ ಒಣಗಿಹೋದವು.
7 Others fell among the thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
ಮತ್ತೆ ಕೆಲವು ಬೀಜಗಳು ಮುಳ್ಳುಗಿಡಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದವು. ಮುಳ್ಳುಗಿಡಗಳು ಬೆಳೆದು ಆ ಎಳೆಯ ಸಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅಡಗಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವು ಫಲ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
8 Others fell into the good ground and yielded fruit, growing up and increasing. Some produced thirty times, some sixty times, and some one hundred times as much.”
ಇನ್ನು ಕೆಲವು ಬೀಜಗಳು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಬೆಳೆದು ಮೂವತ್ತರಷ್ಟು, ಅರವತ್ತರಷ್ಟು, ನೂರರಷ್ಟು ಫಲಕೊಟ್ಟವು.”
9 He said, “Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear.”
ಅನಂತರ ಯೇಸು, “ಕೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಿವಿಯುಳ್ಳವನು ಕೇಳಲಿ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
10 When he was alone, those who were around him with the twelve asked him about the parables.
ಯೇಸು ಒಬ್ಬರೇ ಇದ್ದಾಗ, ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಸುತ್ತಲಿದ್ದವರು ಬಂದು ಆ ಸಾಮ್ಯಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಕೇಳಿದರು.
11 He said to them, “To you is given the mystery of God’s Kingdom, but to those who are outside, all things are done in parables,
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು, “ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ರಹಸ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಜ್ಞಾನ ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಹೊರಗಿನವರಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಸಾಮ್ಯದ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.
12 that ‘seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand, lest perhaps they should turn again, and their sins should be forgiven them.’”
ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ, “‘ಅವರು ಕಣ್ಣಿದ್ದರೂ ಕಾಣುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ಗ್ರಹಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡುವುದಾದರೆ, ಅವರು ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಕ್ಷಮೆಹೊಂದುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು!’” ಎಂದರು.
13 He said to them, “Don’t you understand this parable? How will you understand all of the parables?
ಅನಂತರ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನಿಮಗೆ ಈ ಸಾಮ್ಯ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲವೇ? ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ನೀವು ಬೇರೆ ಸಾಮ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ?
14 The farmer sows the word.
ರೈತನು ‘ವಾಕ್ಯ’ ಎಂಬ ಬೀಜ ಬಿತ್ತುತ್ತಾನೆ.
15 The ones by the road are the ones where the word is sown; and when they have heard, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word which has been sown in them.
ಕೆಲವರು ದಾರಿಯ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದ ಬೀಜದಂತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ವಾಕ್ಯ ಕೇಳಿದ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಸೈತಾನನು ಬಂದು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿತ್ತಿದ್ದ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಬಿಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
16 These in the same way are those who are sown on the rocky places, who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with joy.
ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೆಲವರು ಕಲ್ಲು ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದ ಬೀಜದಂತಿರುವರು. ಅವರು ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
17 They have no root in themselves, but are short-lived. When oppression or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they stumble.
ಆದರೆ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರಿಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಕಾಲ ಮಾತ್ರ ಇದ್ದು, ವಾಕ್ಯದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಸಂಕಟ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಹಿಂಸೆ ಬಂದಾಗ, ಅವರು ಬೇಗನೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.
18 Others are those who are sown among the thorns. These are those who have heard the word,
ಮತ್ತೆ ಕೆಲವರು ಮುಳ್ಳುಗಿಡಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದ ಬೀಜದಂತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
19 and the cares of this age, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. (aiōn g165)
ಆದರೆ ಈ ಜೀವನದ ಚಿಂತೆಗಳೂ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯದ ವ್ಯಾಮೋಹವೂ ಇನ್ನಿತರ ಅಭಿಲಾಷೆಗಳು ಸೇರಿ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅಡಗಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ, ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. (aiōn g165)
20 Those which were sown on the good ground are those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit, some thirty times, some sixty times, and some one hundred times.”
ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೆಲವರು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದ ಬೀಜದಂತಿದ್ದು, ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿ, ಮೂವತ್ತರಷ್ಟು, ಅರವತ್ತರಷ್ಟು, ನೂರರಷ್ಟು ಫಲಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ,” ಎಂದರು.
21 He said to them, “Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Isn’t it put on a stand?
ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಯಾರಾದರೂ ದೀಪವನ್ನು ತಂದು ಬೋಗುಣಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಅಥವಾ ಮಂಚದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಇಡುತ್ತಾರೋ? ಅದರ ಬದಲು ಅದನ್ನು ದೀಪಸ್ತಂಭದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
22 For there is nothing hidden except that it should be made known, neither was anything made secret but that it should come to light.
ಮರೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಯಾವುದೂ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗದೇ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ರಹಸ್ಯಗಳು ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗದೆ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
23 If any man has ears to hear, let him hear.”
ಕಿವಿಯುಳ್ಳವರು ಕೇಳಲಿ.”
24 He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you; and more will be given to you who hear.
ಮತ್ತು ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ಕೇಳುವುದನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಗಮನಿಸಿರಿ; ನೀವು ಅಳೆಯುವ ಅಳತೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ನಿಮಗೂ ಅಳೆದುಕೊಡಲಾಗುವುದು; ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಡಲಾಗುವುದು.
25 For whoever has, to him more will be given; and he who doesn’t have, even that which he has will be taken away from him.”
ಇದ್ದವರಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಇಲ್ಲದವರ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಇದ್ದ ಅಲ್ಪವನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
26 He said, “God’s Kingdom is as if a man should cast seed on the earth,
ಯೇಸು, “ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಹೀಗಿದೆ: ಒಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಜವನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತಿದನು.
27 and should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should spring up and grow, though he doesn’t know how.
ರಾತ್ರಿ ಅವನು ಮಲಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಹಗಲು ಎದ್ದಿದ್ದರೂ ಆ ಬೀಜವು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಕುರಿಸಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.
28 For the earth bears fruit by itself: first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.
ಭೂಮಿಯು ಮೊದಲು ಸಸಿಯನ್ನು ಆಮೇಲೆ ಹೊಡೆಯನ್ನು ಅನಂತರ ತೆನೆಯ ತುಂಬಾ ಕಾಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ತಾನೇ ಬೆಳೆಸುತ್ತದೆ.
29 But when the fruit is ripe, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”
ಬೆಳೆಯು ಮಾಗಿದ ಕೂಡಲೇ, ಅವನು ಕುಡುಗೋಲನ್ನು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಸುಗ್ಗಿಯು ಬಂದಿದೆ,” ಎಂದರು.
30 He said, “How will we liken God’s Kingdom? Or with what parable will we illustrate it?
ಯೇಸು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿ, “ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಯಾವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಲಿಸೋಣ ಅಥವಾ ಅದನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಲು ಯಾವ ಸಾಮ್ಯವನ್ನು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸೋಣ?
31 It’s like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, though it is less than all the seeds that are on the earth,
ಅದು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೀಜಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಅತಿ ಚಿಕ್ಕದಾದ ಸಾಸಿವೆ ಕಾಳಿನಂತಿದೆ.
32 yet when it is sown, grows up and becomes greater than all the herbs, and puts out great branches, so that the birds of the sky can lodge under its shadow.”
ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತಿದ ಮೇಲೆ, ಅದು ಬೆಳೆದು ತೋಟದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಸ್ಯಗಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ದೊಡ್ಡ ರೆಂಬೆಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಮರವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಬಂದು ಅದರ ನೆರಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗೂಡು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತವೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
33 With many such parables he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear it.
ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಅನೇಕ ಸಾಮ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಅವರ ಗ್ರಹಿಕೆಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಹಾಗೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಉಪದೇಶಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
34 Without a parable he didn’t speak to them; but privately to his own disciples he explained everything.
ಸಾಮ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಏನೂ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೊಡನೆ ಏಕಾಂತವಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
35 On that day, when evening had come, he said to them, “Let’s go over to the other side.”
ಆ ದಿನ ಸಂಜೆಯಾದಾಗ ಯೇಸು ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ, “ನಾವು ಆಚೆದಡಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
36 Leaving the multitude, they took him with them, even as he was, in the boat. Other small boats were also with him.
ಅವರು ಜನರ ಗುಂಪನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಇದ್ದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ದೋಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು. ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬೇರೆ ದೋಣಿಗಳೂ ಇದ್ದವು.
37 A big wind storm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so much that the boat was already filled.
ಇದ್ದಕ್ಕಿದ್ದ ಹಾಗೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯು ರಭಸವಾಗಿ ಬೀಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅಲೆಗಳು ದೋಣಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಳಿಸಿದವು. ಆಗ ದೋಣಿಯೊಳಗೆ ನೀರು ನುಗ್ಗಿ ಅದು ಮುಳುಗಿ ಹೋಗುವುದರಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು.
38 He himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they woke him up and asked him, “Rabbi, don’t you care that we are dying?”
ಯೇಸು ದೋಣಿಯ ಹಿಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿಂಬಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಒರಗಿ ನಿದ್ದೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ, “ಗುರುವೇ, ನಾವು ಮುಳುಗಿ ಸಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ನಿಮಗೆ ಚಿಂತೆಯಿಲ್ಲವೇ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
39 He awoke and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” The wind ceased and there was a great calm.
ಯೇಸು ಎದ್ದು ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ, “ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರು, ಶಾಂತವಾಗು!” ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದರು. ಆಗ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯು ನಿಂತು ಹೋಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತವಾಯಿತು.
40 He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? How is it that you have no faith?”
ಯೇಸು ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ಏಕೆ ಭಯಪಡುತ್ತೀರಿ? ನಿಮಗೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಲ್ಲವೇ?” ಎಂದರು.
41 They were greatly afraid and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”
ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಭಯಭೀತರಾಗಿ, “ಇವರು ಯಾರಿರಬಹುದು? ಗಾಳಿಯೂ ಸರೋವರವೂ ಸಹ ಇವರ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತವಲ್ಲಾ!” ಎಂದು ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊಬ್ಬರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
