Job 39
1 “Do you know the time when the mountain goats give birth? Do you watch when the doe bears fawns?
੧“ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਬੱਕਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੂਣ ਦਾ ਵੇਲਾ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਹਰਨੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪੀੜ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ?
2 Can you count the months that they fulfill? Or do you know the time when they give birth?
੨ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਹ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਗਿਣ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਵੇਲਾ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਸੂੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ?
3 They bow themselves. They bear their young. They end their labor pains.
੩ਉਹ ਝੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਜਣਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪੀੜਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਛੁੱਟ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
4 Their young ones become strong. They grow up in the open field. They go out, and don’t return again.
੪ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਤਕੜੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ, ਉਹ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਲਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੜ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੇ।
5 “Who has set the wild donkey free? Or who has loosened the bonds of the swift donkey,
੫“ਕਿਸ ਨੇ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਗਧੇ ਨੂੰ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਛੱਡਿਆ, ਜਾਂ ਕਿਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬੰਧਨ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੇ,
6 whose home I have made the wilderness, and the salt land his dwelling place?
੬ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਮੈਂ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਵਸੇਬਾ ਖ਼ਾਰੀ ਭੂਮੀ ਨੂੰ?
7 He scorns the tumult of the city, neither does he hear the shouting of the driver.
੭ਉਹ ਨਗਰ ਦੇ ਰੌਲ਼ੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਹੱਕਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣਦਾ।
8 The range of the mountains is his pasture. He searches after every green thing.
੮ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਰਾਂਦ ਲਈ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਤੇ ਲੱਭਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਹਰੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
9 “Will the wild ox be content to serve you? Or will he stay by your feeding trough?
੯“ਕੀ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਸਾਨ੍ਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਜਾਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਖੁਰਲੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਕੱਟੇਗਾ?
10 Can you hold the wild ox in the furrow with his harness? Or will he till the valleys after you?
੧੦ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਸਾਨ੍ਹ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਸਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਾਹੁਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਲਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਜਾਂ ਉਹ ਘਾਟੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ-ਪਿੱਛੇ ਸੁਹਾਗਾ ਫੇਰੇਗਾ?
11 Will you trust him, because his strength is great? Or will you leave to him your labor?
੧੧ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਬਲ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੰਮ-ਧੰਦਾ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਛੱਡੇਂਗਾ?
12 Will you confide in him, that he will bring home your seed, and gather the grain of your threshing floor?
੧੨ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਤੇਰਾ ਅਨਾਜ ਖਿੱਚ ਕੇ ਘਰ ਲਿਆਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਿੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰੇ?
13 “The wings of the ostrich wave proudly, but are they the feathers and plumage of love?
੧੩“ਸ਼ੁਤਰਮੁਰਗੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰ ਮਾਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਕੀ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਖੰਭ ਅਤੇ ਪਰ ਦਯਾ ਪਰਗਟ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ?
14 For she leaves her eggs on the earth, warms them in the dust,
੧੪ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਂਡੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਰਮ ਰੱਖਦੀ ਹੈ,
15 and forgets that the foot may crush them, or that the wild animal may trample them.
੧੫ਅਤੇ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਤੋੜੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿੱਧ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
16 She deals harshly with her young ones, as if they were not hers. Though her labor is in vain, she is without fear,
੧੬ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਖ਼ਤੀ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪੀੜਾ ਅਕਾਰਥ ਜਾਵੇ, ਉਹ ਬੇਚਿੰਤ ਹੈ,
17 because God has deprived her of wisdom, neither has he imparted to her understanding.
੧੭ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੁੱਧਹੀਣ ਬਣਾਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੀ।
18 When she lifts up herself on high, she scorns the horse and his rider.
੧੮ਜਦ ਉਹ ਨੱਠਣ ਲਈ ਉੱਠਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਘੋੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਸਵਾਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੱਸਦੀ ਹੈ!
19 “Have you given the horse might? Have you clothed his neck with a quivering mane?
੧੯“ਭਲਾ, ਤੂੰ ਘੋੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ? ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਧੌਣ ਉੱਤੇ ਝੂਲਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਅਯਾਲ ਪੁਆਈ?
20 Have you made him to leap as a locust? The glory of his snorting is awesome.
੨੦ਕੀ ਟਿੱਡੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਟੱਪਣ ਦਾ ਬਲ ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਉਹ ਦੇ ਫੁਰਾਟੇ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਨ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਹੈ!
21 He paws in the valley, and rejoices in his strength. He goes out to meet the armed men.
੨੧ਉਹ ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਾਪ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਹਥਿਆਰਬੰਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਟਾਕਰੇ ਲਈ ਨਿੱਕਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
22 He mocks at fear, and is not dismayed, neither does he turn back from the sword.
੨੨ਉਹ ਡਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਘਬਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਅਤੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਅੱਗੋਂ ਮੂੰਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੋੜਦਾ!
23 The quiver rattles against him, the flashing spear and the javelin.
੨੩ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਤਰਕਸ਼ ਖੜਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਚਮਕਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਬਰਛਾ ਤੇ ਸਾਂਗ ਵੀ।
24 He eats up the ground with fierceness and rage, neither does he stand still at the sound of the shofar.
੨੪ਉਹ ਜੋਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਕਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ।
25 As often as the shofar sounds he snorts, ‘Aha!’ He smells the battle afar off, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting.
੨੫ਜਦ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀ ਵੱਜਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਹਿਣਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਲੜਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰੋਂ ਸੁੰਘ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਸੈਨਾਪਤੀ ਦੀ ਗੱਜ ਅਤੇ ਲਲਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ!
26 “Is it by your wisdom that the hawk soars, and stretches her wings toward the south?
੨੬“ਕੀ ਬਾਜ਼ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਮਝ ਨਾਲ ਉੱਡਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਦੱਖਣ ਵੱਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੰਭਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੈਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ?
27 Is it at your command that the eagle mounts up, and makes his nest on high?
੨੭ਕੀ ਉਕਾਬ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਨਾਲ ਉੱਚਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਚਿਆਈ ਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਆਲ੍ਹਣਾ ਬਣਾਵੇ?
28 On the cliff he dwells and makes his home, on the point of the cliff and the stronghold.
੨੮ਉਹ ਟਿੱਲੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਟਿੱਲੇ ਦੀ ਟੀਸੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਪੱਕੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
29 From there he spies out the prey. His eyes see it afar off.
੨੯ਉੱਥੋਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਭੋਜਣ ਲੱਭ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦੂਰੋਂ ਤਾੜ ਲੈਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
30 His young ones also suck up blood. Where the slain are, there he is.”
੩੦ਉਹ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਲਹੂ ਚੂਸਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਵੱਢੇ ਲੋਕ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।”
