Acts 3
1 Peter and Yochanan were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.
ペトロとヨハネが，第九時の祈りの時間に神殿に上って行った。
2 A certain man who was lame from his mother’s womb was being carried, whom they laid daily at the door of the temple which is called Yafeh, to ask gifts for the needy of those who entered into the temple.
母の胎を出た時から足の不自由な人が運ばれて来た。神殿に入る人たちから施しを求めるために，神殿の「美し」と呼ばれる門のところに毎日置いてもらっていたのである。
3 Seeing Peter and Yochanan about to go into the temple, he asked to receive gifts for the needy.
ペトロとヨハネが神殿に入ろうとするのを見て，施しをもらいたいと頼んだ。
4 Peter, fastening his eyes on him, with Yochanan, said, “Look at us.”
ペトロはヨハネと共に彼をじっと見つめて，「わたしたちを見なさい」と言った。
5 He listened to them, expecting to receive something from them.
彼は，彼らから何かをもらえることを期待して，それに従った。
6 But Peter said, “I have no silver or gold, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Yeshua the Messiah of Nazareth, get up and walk!”
しかしペトロは言った，「銀や金はわたしにはないが，わたしが持っているものをあなたにあげよう。ナザレのイエス・キリストの名において，立ち上がって歩きなさい！」
7 He took him by the right hand and raised him up. Immediately his feet and his ankle bones received strength.
彼の右手をつかんで起き上がらせた。すぐに彼の足とくるぶしの骨とは強くされた。
8 Leaping up, he stood and began to walk. He entered with them into the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God.
彼は踊り上がって立ち，歩き始めた。歩いたり，跳ねたり，神を賛美したりしながら，彼らと共に神殿の中に入って行った。
9 All the people saw him walking and praising God.
民はみな，彼が歩き回って神を賛美しているのを見た。
10 They recognized him, that it was he who used to sit begging for gifts for the needy at the Yafeh Gate of the temple. They were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
これがいつも神殿の「美しの門」のところに座って施しを求めていた者だと気づいた。彼に起きたことを知って，驚きと仰天とに満たされた。
11 As the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and Yochanan, all the people ran together to them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.
足が不自由であったが今ではいやされたその人がペトロとヨハネにすがりついていると，民はみな非常に驚いて，「ソロモンの回廊」と呼ばれる所にいた彼らのところに走り寄ってきた。
12 When Peter saw it, he responded to the people, “You men of Israel, why do you marvel at this man? Why do you fasten your eyes on us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made him walk?
これを見て，ペトロは民に答えた。「イスラエルの人たち，なぜこの人のことで驚き怪しむのですか。どうして，わたしたちが自分の力や信心によってこの人を歩かせたかのように，わたしたちを見つめているのですか。
13 The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Servant Yeshua, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had determined to release him.
アブラハム，イサク，ヤコブの神，わたしたちの父祖たちの神は，ご自分の召使いイエスに栄光を与えられましたが，あなた方は彼を引き渡し，ピラトが釈放しようと決めていたのに，その前で彼を否認しました。
14 But you denied the Holy and Righteous One and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,
そして，あの聖なる正しい方を否認して，人殺しの者を許すよう求め，
15 and killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, to which we are witnesses.
命の君主を殺しました。しかし，神は彼を死んだ者たちの中から起こされました。わたしたちはそのことの証人です。
16 By faith in his name, his name has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which is through him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
その方の名が，その名に対する信仰によって，あなた方が見知っているこの人を強くしたのです。そうです，彼を通しての信仰が，あなた方すべての前でこの人に完全な健康を与えたのです。
17 “Now, brothers, I know that you did this in ignorance, as did also your rulers.
「さて，兄弟たち，あなた方が無知のためにあのようなことをしたのであり，あなた方の支配者たちも同様だったことを，わたしは知っています。
18 But the things which God announced by the mouth of all his prophets, that Messiah should suffer, he thus fulfilled.
しかし神は，そのすべての預言者たちの口によって予告されていた事柄，すなわち，キリストが苦しみを受けることを，このようにして果たされたのです。
19 “Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord,
「ですから，あなた方の罪を塗り消していただくために，悔い改めて立ち返りなさい。それは，主のみ前からさわやかにする時期が来て，
20 and that he may send Messiah Yeshua, who was ordained for you before,
あなた方のために前もって定められていたキリスト・イエスを遣わしていただけるようにするためです。
21 whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God spoke long ago by the mouth of his holy prophets. (aiōn g165)
神が昔からその聖なる預言者たちの口によって語られたすべてのものの回復の時期まで，天はこの方を受け入れておかなければならないのです。 (aiōn g165)
22 For Moses indeed said to the fathers, ‘The Lord God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him in all things whatever he says to you.
実際，モーセは父祖たちにこう言いました。『主なる神は，あなた方の兄弟たちの中から，わたしのような預言者をあなた方のために起こされるだろう。あなた方は，彼があなた方に語るすべての事柄について，彼に聞き従わなければならない。
23 It will be that every soul that will not listen to that prophet will be utterly destroyed from among the people.’
この預言者に聞き従わない魂はすべて，民の中から完全に滅ぼされるだろう』。
24 Yes, and all the prophets from Samuel and those who followed after, as many as have spoken, also told of these days.
実に，サムエルをはじめとするすべての預言者たちも，後に続いて語った者たちも，やはりこの日々のことを告げました。
25 You are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘All the families of the earth will be blessed through your offspring.’
あなた方はその預言者たちの子らであり，神がアブラハムに，『あなたの子孫にあって地上のすべての部族が祝福を受けるだろう』と言って，あなた方の父祖たちと結ばれた，あの契約の子らです。
26 God, having raised up his servant Yeshua, sent him to you first to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your wickedness.”
神は，ご自分の召使いイエスを起こして，まずあなた方のもとに遣わされました。それは，彼があなた方をおのおのの悪から立ち返らせて，あなた方を祝福するためなのです」。
