< Romans 12 >

1 Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.
Ɛno enti, anuanom, ɛsiane Onyankopɔn ahummɔborɔ enti, mehyɛ mo sɛ momfa mo onipadua mmɔ afɔdeɛ a ɛyɛ kronkron na ɛsɔ Onyankopɔn ani. Yei ne nokwasɛm a ɛsɛ sɛ mosɔ mu.
2 Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
3 For I say through the grace that was given me, to everyone who is amongst you, not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.
Na ɛsiane Onyankopɔn adom a ɔde ama me no enti, meka mekyerɛ mo nyinaa sɛ, monnnwene mo ho mma ɛmmoro sɛdeɛ ɛsɛ sɛ modwene, na mmom, monnwene mo ho ahobrɛaseɛ mu, na mo mu biara nnyina gyidie a Onyankopɔn de ama mo no so.
4 For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don’t have the same function,
Sɛdeɛ yɛn mu biara wɔ onipadua a ɛho akwaa yɛ bebree no, na saa akwaa yi mu biara wɔ dwuma a ɛdi no,
5 so we, who are many, are one body in Messiah, and individually members of one another,
saa ara na Kristo mu no yɛn a yɛyɛ bebree no yɛ onipadua baako, na akwaa biara yɛ akwaa no nyinaa dea.
6 having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us: if prophecy, let’s prophesy according to the proportion of our faith;
Yɛwɔ akyɛdeɛ ahodoɔ sɛdeɛ wɔde adom yɛn no. Sɛ obi akyɛdeɛ yɛ nkɔmhyɛ a, ma ɔnnyina ne gyidie so mfa nyɛ adwuma.
7 or service, let’s give ourselves to service; or he who teaches, to his teaching;
Sɛ ɛyɛ ɔsom a, ma ɔnsom; Sɛ ɛyɛ nkyerɛkyerɛ a, ma ɔnkyerɛkyerɛ;
8 or he who exhorts, to his exhorting; he who gives, let him do it with generosity; he who rules, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
Sɛ ɛsɛ sɛ yɛhyɛ afoforɔ nkuran a, ɛsɛ sɛ yɛyɛ saa; sɛ ɛyɛ mmoa a ɔde boa afoforɔ a, ma ɔmfiri akoma pa mu nyɛ; sɛ ɛyɛ akwankyerɛ a, ma no mfa nsi nyɛ; sɛ ɛyɛ ayamyɛ a, ma ɔmfa anigyeɛ nyɛ.
9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.
Ɛsɛ sɛ ɔdɔ yɛ nokorɛ turodoo. Monkyiri amumuyɛ. Mommata deɛ ɛyɛ ho.
10 In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honour prefer one another,
Momfa onuadɔ nnodɔ mo ho. Monni afoforɔ ni nsen mo ho.
11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord,
Monkɔ so nyɛ nsi, monyɛ hye wɔ honhom mu, na momfa ahosɛpɛ nsom Awurade.
12 rejoicing in hope, enduring in troubles, continuing steadfastly in prayer,
Monnya anidasoɔ mu anigyeɛ, amanehunu mu boasetɔ, na momfa gyidie mmɔ mpaeɛ.
13 contributing to the needs of the holy ones, and given to hospitality.
Mone Onyankopɔn nkurɔfoɔ a ahia wɔn no nkyɛ deɛ mo wɔ. Mommɔ ahɔhosom ho mmɔden.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don’t curse.
Monhyira wɔn a wɔtaa mo no; Monhyira wɔn na monnnome wɔn.
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice. Weep with those who weep.
Mo ne anigyefoɔ ani nnye, na mo ne asufoɔ nsu.
16 Be of the same mind one towards another. Don’t set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don’t be wise in your own conceits.
Mo ne afoforɔ ntena asomdwoeɛ mu. Monnyɛ ahantan, na mmom momfa mo ho mmɔ mmɔborɔfoɔ. Mommmu mo ho anyansafoɔ.
17 Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honourable in the sight of all men.
Mommfa bɔne ntua bɔne biara so ka. Monyɛ deɛ ɛbɛma nnipa de anidie ama mo.
18 If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.
Sɛ ɛbɛtumi a, mo fam deɛ, mo ne obiara ntena asomdwoeɛ mu.
19 Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, “Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.”
Monntɔ wereɛ me nnamfonom, na mmom momma Onyankopɔn abufuo ho ɛkwan ɛfiri sɛ, wɔatwerɛ sɛ, “Me na aweretɔ wɔ me, mɛtua ka,” Awurade na ɔseɛ.
20 Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.”
Enti, “Sɛ ɛkɔm de wo ɔtamfoɔ a, ma no aduane nni; sɛ osukɔm de no a, ma no nsuo nnom. Na sɛ woyɛ saa a, woboaboa gyasramma ano gu nʼatifi.”
21 Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Mommma bɔne nni mo so. Mmom, momfa papa nni bɔne so.
