< Romans 10 >

1 Brothers, my heart’s desire and my prayer to God is for Israel, that they may be saved.
Bakwesu, nchindiyanda mumoyo wangu akumukombelezya kuli Leza, ndufutuko lwako.
2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
Nkambo ndilabukamboni atala ambabo bwakuti baliabusungu kuli Leza, pesi butali bwakuluzibo.
3 For being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn’t subject themselves to the righteousness of God.
Nkambo nchibakachilwa kumvwisisya bululami buzwa kwa Leza pele balikuyandula kutuchitila bululami bwabo beni, aboobo bakachilwa kulifwinsya kubululami bwa Leza.
4 For Messiah is the fulfilment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
Nkambo Kkilisito ngonguwe uzuzikizya mulawu wabalulami bwabo boonse basyoma.
5 For Moses writes about the righteousness of the law, “The one who does them will live by them.”
Nkambo Mozesi ulalemba atala abululami obo buzwa kumulawu: “mwalumi uchita bululami bwamulawu uyobuponena bululami obo.”
6 But the righteousness which is of faith says this, “Don’t say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Messiah down);
Pele bululami obo buzwa kulusyomo mbwamba obo: “mutaambi mumyoyo yanu kuti ngwani uyotanta kujulu? (ikuti, akeete Kkilisitu aansi)
7 or, ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring Messiah up from the dead.)” (Abyssos g12)
; aboobo utambi kuti ngwani uyoselukila kubusena busiya (nkokuti akeete Kkilisitu kuzwa kubafu). (Abyssos g12)
8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart;” that is, the word of faith which we proclaim:
Pesi chambanzi? “ijwi lili afwifwi anduwe lilimumulomo wako amumoyo wako” eli ndijwi lyalusyomo, eli ndijwi lyalusyomo elyo nditukambawuka.
9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Yeshua is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Nkambo kumulomo wako kulazumina kuti Jesu ngu Mwami, akusyoma kumoyo wako kuti Leza wakakubusya kuzwa kubafu, uyofutulwa.
10 For with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation.
Nkambo kumoyo omwe kulasyomwa kuti kube bululami alimwi kumulomo omwe kulazuminikwa kuti kube lufutuko.
11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.”
Nkambo malembe alamba kuti, “koonse kusyoma mulinguwe wonse tayowusigwa nsoni”
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him.
Nkambo takw ekusiyana akati kama Juda ama Giliki nkambo Mwami wabo nguMwami waboonse alubo ulabuvubi kuli abo bamwita.
13 For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Pele boonse bayita zina lyakwe Mwami bayofutulwa.
14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a proclaimer?
Bamwi bamwiite biyeni oyo ngubatasyomi? Bamusyome biyeni oyo ngubatana kumvwa? Bamvwe biyeni katakwe katakwe sikukambawuka? Bakambawuke biyeni kuti tebatumwa?
15 And how will they proclaim unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who proclaim the Good News of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!”
Mbubonya mbukulembedwe, “abota mawulu ababo bakambawuka makani mabotu!
16 But they didn’t all listen to the glad news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?”
Pesi tensi boonse baswilila makani mabotu. Nkambo Isaya ulamba, “Mwami ngwani wakasyoma mulumbe wesu?”
17 So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Aboobo lusyomo lulazwa kukumvwa, alimwi kumvwa ijwi lyaKkilisitu.
18 But I say, didn’t they hear? Yes, most certainly, “Their sound went out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”
Pesi ndamba, “tebakamvwa na?” Iyii, mbubonya bangelo lwabo bakanjila munyika yoonse, alimwi majwi abo kumagolelo anyika”
19 But I ask, didn’t Israel know? First Moses says, “I will provoke you to jealousy with that which is no nation. I will make you angry with a nation void of understanding.”
Kukuyungizya ndaamba, “Izilayeli takazi na? “Lutanzi Mozesi wamba kuti, “njokusungilizya kubuzuba azitali chisi. Anzila yachisi chitakwe kumvwisisisya, alimwi njokukopakopa kusikila ukanyeme”.
20 Isaiah is very bold and says, “I was found by those who didn’t seek me. I was revealed to those who didn’t ask for me.”
Alimwi Izaya ulamba chabukozu kuti, ndakajanwa ababo bakatandiyandula. “Ndakaboneka kuli abo batakandikumbila”
21 But about Israel he says, “All day long I stretched out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.”
Pesi kuli Izilayeli uwambakuti, “izuba lyoonse ndakatambika maanza angu kulibataswilili akubantu bataswilili”.
