Revelation 5

1 I saw, in the right hand of him who sat on the throne, a book written inside and outside, sealed shut with seven seals.

Y vi en la diestra de Aquel que estaba sentado sobre el trono un libro, escrito por dentro y por fuera, y sellado con siete sellos.

2 I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the book, and to break its seals?”

Y vi a un ángel poderoso que, a gran voz, pregonaba: “¿Quién es digno de abrir el libro y desatar sus sellos?”

3 No one in heaven above, or on the earth, or under the earth, was able to open the book or to look in it.

Y nadie en el cielo, ni en la tierra, ni debajo de la tierra, podía abrir el libro, ni aun fijar los ojos en él.

4 Then I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open the book or to look in it.

Y yo lloraba mucho porque nadie era hallado digno de abrir el libro, ni de fijar en él los ojos.

5 One of the elders said to me, “Don’t weep. Behold, the Lion who is of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome: he who opens the book and its seven seals.”

Entonces me dijo uno de los ancianos: “No llores. Mira: el León de la tribu de Judá, la raíz de David, ha triunfado, de suerte que abra el libro y sus siete sellos”.

6 I saw in the middle of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the middle of the elders, a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth.

Y vi que en medio delante del trono y de los cuatro vivientes y de los ancianos estaba de pie un Cordero como degollado, que tenía siete cuernos y siete ojos, que son los siete espíritus de Dios en misión por toda la tierra.

7 Then he came, and he took it out of the right hand of him who sat on the throne.

El cual vino y tomó ( el libro ) de la diestra de Aquel que estaba sentado en el trono.

8 Now when he had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the holy ones.

Y cuando hubo tomado el libro, los cuatro seres vivientes y los veinticuatro ancianos se postraron ante el Cordero, teniendo cada cual una cítara y copas de oro llenas de perfumes, que son las oraciones de los santos.

9 They sang a new song, saying, “You are worthy to take the book and to open its seals, for you were killed, and bought us for God with your blood out of every tribe, language, people, and nation,

Y cantaban un cántico nuevo, diciendo: “Tú eres digno de tomar el libro, y de abrir sus sellos; porque Tú fuiste inmolado, y con tu sangre compraste para Dios ( hombres ) de toda tribu y lengua y pueblo y nación;

10 and made us kings and priests to our God; and we will reign on the earth.”

y los has hecho para nuestro Dios un reino y sacerdotes, y reinarán sobre la tierra”

11 I looked, and I heard something like a voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders. The number of them was ten thousands of ten thousands, and thousands of thousands,

Y miré y oí voz de muchos ángeles alrededor del trono y de los vivientes y de los ancianos; y era el número de ellos miradas de miríadas, y millares de millares;

12 saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who has been killed to receive the power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honour, glory, and blessing!”

los cuales decían a gran voz: “Digno es el Cordero que fue inmolado de recibir poder, riqueza, sabiduría, fuerza, honor, gloria y alabanza”.

13 I heard every created thing which is in heaven, on the earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be the blessing, the honour, the glory, and the dominion, forever and ever! Amen!” (aiōn g165)

Y a todas las criatura que hay en el cielo, sobre la tierra, debajo de la tierra y en el mar, y a todas las cosas que hay en ellos oí que decían: “Al que está sentado en el trono, y al Cordero, la alabanza, el honor, la gloria y el imperio por los siglos de los siglos”. (aiōn g165)

14 The four living creatures said, “Amen!” Then the elders fell down and worshipped.

Y los cuatro vivientes decían: “Amén”. Y los ancianos se postraron y adoraron.
