Psalms 74
1 A contemplation by Asaph. God, why have you rejected us forever? Why does your anger smoulder against the sheep of your pasture?
ಆಸಾಫನ ಮಾಸ್ಕಿಲ ರಾಗದ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ದೇವರೇ, ಸದಾಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟದ್ದೇಕೆ? ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇವಿನ ಕುರಿಮಂದೆಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಬೇಸರಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಏಕೆ?
2 Remember your congregation, which you purchased of old, which you have redeemed to be the tribe of your inheritance: Mount Zion, in which you have lived.
ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜನರನ್ನೂ ನೀವು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಿದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನೂ ನೀವು ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದ ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪರ್ವತವನ್ನೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
3 Lift up your feet to the perpetual ruins, all the evil that the enemy has done in the sanctuary.
ನಿತ್ಯ ನಾಶವಾದ ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೂ ಈ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ನಿವಾಸವನ್ನು ವೈರಿಗಳು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿದ್ದರ ಕಡೆಗೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸಿರಿ.
4 Your adversaries have roared in the middle of your assembly. They have set up their standards as signs.
ನಿಮ್ಮ ವೈರಿಗಳು ನೀವು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸಿದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಗರ್ಜಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ಗುರುತುಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಾಧನಾ ಚಿಹ್ನೆಗಳಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
5 They behaved like men wielding axes, cutting through a thicket of trees.
ದಟ್ಟವಾದ ಮರಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಕೊಡಲಿ ಎತ್ತುವವನ ಹಾಗೆ ಆ ಜನರು ವರ್ತಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
6 Now they break all its carved work down with hatchet and hammers.
ಈಗ ಚಿತ್ರ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಷಣ ಕೊಡಲಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಸುತ್ತಿಗೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಅವರು ಹೊಡೆದು ಹಾಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
7 They have burnt your sanctuary to the ground. They have profaned the dwelling place of your Name.
ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಹಚ್ಚಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿವಾಸವನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಕೆಡವಿ ಅಪವಿತ್ರಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
8 They said in their heart, “We will crush them completely.” They have burnt up all the places in the land where God was worshipped.
“ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಕೆಡವಿಬಿಡೋಣ,” ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೇವರ ಸಭಾಸ್ಥಾನಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
9 We see no miraculous signs. There is no longer any prophet, neither is there amongst us anyone who knows how long.
ದೇವರಿಂದ ನಮಗೆ ಅದ್ಭುತವಾದ ಸಂಕೇತಗಳು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು ನಮಗೆ ಉಳಿದಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದು ಎಷ್ಟು ಕಾಲ ಎಂದು ನಾವ್ಯಾರೂ ತಿಳಿದಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
10 How long, God, shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme your name forever?
ದೇವರೇ, ವೈರಿಯು ನಿಂದಿಸುವುದು ಎಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ? ಶತ್ರುವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ದೂಷಿಸುವನೋ?
11 Why do you draw back your hand, even your right hand? Take it from your chest and consume them!
ಏಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯನ್ನು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಲಗೈಯನ್ನು ಸಹ ಹಿಂದೆಳೆಯುತ್ತೀರಿ? ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎದೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ತೆಗೆದು ಅವರನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸಿರಿ.
12 Yet God is my King of old, working salvation throughout the earth.
ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವು ಪೂರ್ವದಿಂದಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಅರಸರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಭೂಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ತರುವವರೂ ನೀವೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
13 You divided the sea by your strength. You broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters.
ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಲದಿಂದ ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ತಿಮಿಂಗಿಲಗಳ ತಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಡಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
14 You broke the heads of Leviathan in pieces. You gave him as food to people and desert creatures.
ನೀವು ಲಿವ್ಯಾತಾನ ಮೃಗದ ತಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಡೆದಿರಲು ಅದನ್ನು ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯ ಜೀವಜಂತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಹಾರವಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
15 You opened up spring and stream. You dried up mighty rivers.
ನೀವು ಬುಗ್ಗೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಪ್ರವಾಹವನ್ನೂ ವಿಭಾಗ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ನೀವು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ತುಂಬಿ ಹರಿಯುವ ನದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಒಣಗಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
16 The day is yours, the night is also yours. You have prepared the light and the sun.
ಹಗಲು ನಿಮ್ಮದು, ರಾತ್ರಿಯು ಸಹ ನಿಮ್ಮದು. ನೀವು ಸೂರ್ಯಚಂದ್ರನನ್ನೂ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
17 You have set all the boundaries of the earth. You have made summer and winter.
ನೀವು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇರೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಬೇಸಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಳಿಗಾಲವನ್ನು ನೀವು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
18 Remember this, that the enemy has mocked you, LORD. Foolish people have blasphemed your name.
ಮೂರ್ಖರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ನಿಂದಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಾಸ್ಯಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ಇದನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
19 Don’t deliver the soul of your dove to wild beasts. Don’t forget the life of your poor forever.
ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾರಿವಾಳದ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ದುಷ್ಟಮೃಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಕೊಡಬೇಡಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೀನರ ಮಂಡಳಿಯನ್ನು ಸದಾಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಮರೆತುಬಿಡಬೇಡಿರಿ.
20 Honour your covenant, for haunts of violence fill the dark places of the earth.
ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ಕೊಡಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕತ್ತಲಿನ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳು ಕ್ರೂರತನದ ನಿವಾಸಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿ ಇವೆ.
21 Don’t let the oppressed return ashamed. Let the poor and needy praise your name.
ಕುಗ್ಗಿದವನು ಅವಮಾನದಿಂದ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗದಿರಲಿ. ದೀನನೂ, ಬಡವನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಲಿ.
22 Arise, God! Plead your own cause. Remember how the foolish man mocks you all day.
ದೇವರೇ, ಏಳು; ನಿಮ್ಮ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ವಾದಿಸಿರಿ. ದಿನವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮೂರ್ಖನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ನಿಂದಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
23 Don’t forget the voice of your adversaries. The tumult of those who rise up against you ascends continually.
ನಿಮ್ಮ ವೈರಿಗಳ ಗದ್ದಲವನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳ ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುವ ಕಲಹವನ್ನೂ ಮರೆತುಬಿಡಬೇಡಿರಿ.
