Psalms 71
1 In you, LORD, I take refuge. Never let me be disappointed.
Em você, Yahweh, eu me refugio. Nunca me deixe decepcionar.
2 Deliver me in your righteousness, and rescue me. Turn your ear to me, and save me.
Entregue-me em sua retidão e me salve. Vire seus ouvidos para mim, e me salve.
3 Be to me a rock of refuge to which I may always go. Give the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.
Seja para mim uma rocha de refúgio para a qual eu possa sempre ir. Dê o comando para me salvar, pois você é meu rochedo e minha fortaleza.
4 Rescue me, my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
Salva-me, meu Deus, da mão dos ímpios, da mão do homem iníquo e cruel.
5 For you are my hope, Lord GOD, my confidence from my youth.
Pois você é minha esperança, Senhor Yahweh, minha confiança de minha juventude.
6 I have relied on you from the womb. You are he who took me out of my mother’s womb. I will always praise you.
Eu tenho confiado em você desde o útero. Você é aquele que me tirou do ventre de minha mãe. Eu sempre os elogiarei.
7 I am a marvel to many, but you are my strong refuge.
Eu sou uma maravilha para muitos, mas você é meu forte refúgio.
8 My mouth shall be filled with your praise, with your honour all day long.
Minha boca será preenchida com seus elogios, com sua honra durante todo o dia.
9 Don’t reject me in my old age. Don’t forsake me when my strength fails.
Não me rejeite na minha velhice. Não me abandone quando minhas forças falharem.
10 For my enemies talk about me. Those who watch for my soul conspire together,
Para meus inimigos, falar de mim. Aqueles que zelam pela minha alma conspiram juntos,
11 saying, “God has forsaken him. Pursue and take him, for no one will rescue him.”
dizendo: “Deus o abandonou”. Persegui-lo e levá-lo, pois ninguém o resgatará”.
12 God, don’t be far from me. My God, hurry to help me.
Deus, não esteja longe de mim. Meu Deus, apresse-se para me ajudar.
13 Let my accusers be disappointed and consumed. Let them be covered with disgrace and scorn who want to harm me.
Deixar que meus acusadores fiquem desapontados e consumidos. Que eles sejam cobertos de vergonha e desprezo por aqueles que querem me prejudicar.
14 But I will always hope, and will add to all of your praise.
Mas eu sempre terei esperança, e acrescentará a todos os seus elogios.
15 My mouth will tell about your righteousness, and of your salvation all day, though I don’t know its full measure.
Minha boca dirá sobre sua retidão, e de sua salvação o dia todo, embora eu não conheça sua medida completa.
16 I will come with the mighty acts of the Lord GOD. I will make mention of your righteousness, even of yours alone.
Eu irei com os poderosos atos do Senhor Javé. Farei menção à sua retidão, mesmo só da sua.
17 God, you have taught me from my youth. Until now, I have declared your wondrous works.
Deus, você me ensinou desde minha juventude. Até agora, declarei suas obras maravilhosas.
18 Yes, even when I am old and grey-haired, God, don’t forsake me, until I have declared your strength to the next generation, your might to everyone who is to come.
Sim, mesmo quando eu for velho e grisalho, Deus, não me abandone, até que eu tenha declarado sua força à próxima geração, seu poder a todos os que virão.
19 God, your righteousness also reaches to the heavens. You have done great things. God, who is like you?
Deus, sua justiça também alcança os céus. Você tem feito grandes coisas. Deus, quem é como você?
20 You, who have shown us many and bitter troubles, you will let me live. You will bring us up again from the depths of the earth.
Você, que nos mostrou muitos e amargos problemas, você me deixará viver. Você nos fará subir novamente das profundezas da terra.
21 Increase my honour and comfort me again.
Aumentar minha honra e me conforta novamente.
22 I will also praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, my God. I sing praises to you with the lyre, Holy One of Israel.
Também te louvarei com a harpa por tua fidelidade, meu Deus. Eu canto louvores a você com a lira, Santa de Israel.
23 My lips shall shout for joy! My soul, which you have redeemed, sings praises to you!
Meus lábios devem gritar de alegria! Minha alma, que vocês resgataram, canta louvores para vocês!
24 My tongue will also talk about your righteousness all day long, for they are disappointed, and they are confounded, who want to harm me.
Minha língua também falará de sua retidão o dia todo, pois eles estão decepcionados, e estão confusos, que querem me prejudicar.
