< Psalms 66 >

1 For the Chief Musician. A song. A Psalm. Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth!
Katoeng kruek zaehoikung hanah. Saam laa. Long boih, anghoehaih hoi Sithaw khaeah hang oh!
2 Sing to the glory of his name! Offer glory and praise!

3 Tell God, “How awesome are your deeds! Through the greatness of your power, your enemies submit themselves to you.
Sithaw khaeah, na sak ih hmuennawk loe kawkkruk maw dawnrai han oh! Na misanawk loe kalen parai na thacakhaih hoiah na hmaa ah tabok o tih, tiah thui oh.
4 All the earth will worship you, and will sing to you; they will sing to your name.” (Selah)
Longnawk boih mah nang to bok o ueloe, nang saphawhaih laa to sah o tih; na hmin saphawhaih laa to sah o tih. (Selah)
5 Come, and see God’s deeds— awesome work on behalf of the children of men.
Angzo oh loe, Sithaw mah sak ih hmuennawk to khen oh; kaminawk salakah a sak ih hmuennawk loe anghmang han koi oh.
6 He turned the sea into dry land. They went through the river on foot. There, we rejoiced in him.
Anih mah tuipui to saoeng ah angcoengsak; to naah kaminawk loe tui ohhaih ahmuen ah khok hoiah caeh o, kaicae loe anih ah anghoehaih ka tawnh o.
7 He rules by his might forever. His eyes watch the nations. Don’t let the rebellious rise up against him. (Selah)
Anih mah a thacakhaih hoiah dungzan khoek to uk; a mik hoiah kaminawk boih to khet; misa koeh kaminawk loe amoek o hmah nasoe. (Selah)
8 Praise our God, you peoples! Make the sound of his praise heard,
Aw kaminawk boih, kaicae ih Sithaw hae tahamhoihaih paek oh; kangthaih ah anih to saphaw oh;
9 who preserves our life amongst the living, and doesn’t allow our feet to be moved.
Anih mah aicae hinghaih to patawnh moe, aicae ih khok doeh amthaeksak ai.
10 For you, God, have tested us. You have refined us, as silver is refined.
Aw Sithaw, kaicae hae nang tanoek boeh; sumkanglung to hmai hoiah pakaw ih baktiah, kaicae hae nang tanoek boeh.
11 You brought us into prison. You laid a burden on our backs.
Palok pongah nang mansak moe, hmuenzit nang phawhsak.
12 You allowed men to ride over our heads. We went through fire and through water, but you brought us to the place of abundance.
Kaicae lu nuiah kaminawk to nang thuengsak; hmai hoiah tui thungah ka caeh o; toe angraenghaih ahmuen ah nang hoih.
13 I will come into your temple with burnt offerings. I will pay my vows to you,
Kai loe hmai angbawnhaih hoiah na im ah ka caeh han; nang khaeah ka sak ih lokmaihaih baktiah ka ohsak han,
14 which my lips promised, and my mouth spoke, when I was in distress.

15 I will offer to you burnt offerings of fat animals, with the offering of rams, I will offer bulls with goats. (Selah)
Kathawk moi hoiah nang khaeah hmai angbawnhaih ka sak moe, hmuihoih ah tuunawk to kang paek han; maitaw taenawk hoi maeh taenawk doeh kang paek han. (Selah)
16 Come and hear, all you who fear God. I will declare what he has done for my soul.
Nangcae, Sithaw zii kaminawk, angzo oh loe tahngai oh; ka hinghaih nuiah anih mah sak ih hmuen kawng to kang thuih o han.
17 I cried to him with my mouth. He was extolled with my tongue.
Ka pakha hoiah anih khaeah ka hang moe, ka palai hoiah anih to ka pakoeh boeh.
18 If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened.
Palung thungah zaehaih ka suek poe nahaeloe, Angraeng mah ka lok hae tahngai mak ai;
19 But most certainly, God has listened. He has heard the voice of my prayer.
toe Sithaw mah ka lok ang tahngai pae tangtang; lawk ka thuihaih lok to ang tahngaih pae.
20 Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer, nor his loving kindness from me.
Lawk ka thuihaih anghmasak ai, ka nuiah suek ih a palungnathaih to apet ai, Sithaw khaeah tahamhoihaih om nasoe!
