< Psalms 50 >

1 A Psalm by Asaph. The Mighty One, God, the LORD, speaks, and calls the earth from sunrise to sunset.
Asap ih Saam laa. Thacak, Angraeng Sithaw mah, ni tacawt hoi niduem khoek to, long to kawk moe, lok a thuih pae.
2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines out.
Coek koi om ai kranghoih, Zion mae hoiah, Sithaw aanghaih to tacawt.
3 Our God comes, and does not keep silent. A fire devours before him. It is very stormy around him.
Aicae ih Sithaw angzo tih, anih loe omduem mak ai: Anih hmaa ah hmai angqong ueloe, takhi pui mah anih to takui khoep tih.
4 He calls to the heavens above, to the earth, that he may judge his people:
Angmah ih kaminawk lokcaek hanah, ranui ih vannawk hoiah long to a kawk.
5 “Gather my holy ones together to me, those who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.”
Angbawnhaih hoiah kai hoi lokmaihaih sah kaminawk loe, kaimah ih kaciim kaminawk hoi nawnto pakhueng han, tiah a thuih.
6 The heavens shall declare his righteousness, for God himself is judge. (Selah)
Sithaw loe toeng pongah, vannawk mah a toenghaih to taphong o tih. (Selah)
7 “Hear, my people, and I will speak. Israel, I will testify against you. I am God, your God.
Aw kai ih kaminawk, tahngai oh, lok ka thuih han; aw Israel, na nuiah ka koeh ai ih hmuen to kang thuih han: kai loe Sithaw, na Sithaw ah ka oh.
8 I don’t rebuke you for your sacrifices. Your burnt offerings are continually before me.
Ka hmaa ah na sak o toepsoep ih, angbawnhaih, hmai angbawnhaih pongah, kang zoeh o mak ai.
9 I have no need for a bull from your stall, nor male goats from your pens.
Na im thung hoiah maitaw tae, na takha thung hoiah maeh taenawk doeh, ka la mak ai.
10 For every animal of the forest is mine, and the livestock on a thousand hills.
Taw thung ih moi hoi mae sangto nuiah kapra moinawk boih loe kai ih ni.
11 I know all the birds of the mountains. The wild animals of the field are mine.
Maenawk nuiah kaom tavaanawk to ka panoek boih: prae thung ih kasan moinawk boih loe kai ih ni.
12 If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it.
Zok kam thlam cadoeh, kang thui mak ai: tipongah tih nahaeloe long hoi athung ah kaom hmuennawk boih loe kai ih ni.
13 Will I eat the meat of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
Maitaw tae moi to ka cak moe, maeh thii to ka naek han maw?
14 Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving. Pay your vows to the Most High.
Sithaw khaeah anghoe angbawnhaih to sah ah; Sang koek khaeah na sak ih lokmaihaih to koepsak ah:
15 Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honour me.”
raihaih tongh na niah na kawk ah: kang loisak han, to naah loe kai nang pakoeh tih.
16 But to the wicked God says, “What right do you have to declare my statutes, that you have taken my covenant on your lips,
Toe kasae kami khaeah loe, Ka paek ih lok to na taphong moe, ka sak ih lokmaihaih pazui han angaih maw? tiah Sithaw mah thuih.
17 since you hate instruction, and throw my words behind you?
Thuitaekhaih to na hnukma moe, ka loknawk to hnukbang ah na vah ving boeh.
18 When you saw a thief, you consented with him, and have participated with adulterers.
Kamqu na hnuk naah, anih to na bomh, zu sava laep ah nongpa nongpata zaehaih sah kaminawk hoiah nam yok.
19 “You give your mouth to evil. Your tongue frames deceit.
Loksae thuih hanah pakha to na patoh moe, na palai to alinghaih hoiah na zaeng.
20 You sit and speak against your brother. You slander your own mother’s son.
Nang hnut moe, boeng ai ah nam nawkamyanawk to kasae na thuih, nam no ih caa khaeh mataeng doeh kasae na thuih.
21 You have done these things, and I kept silent. You thought that I was just like you. I will rebuke you, and accuse you in front of your eyes.
Hae baktih hmuennawk boih hae na sak, toe kang oh taak duem pongah, nang baktiah ka oh toeng mue, tiah na poek: toe kang thuitaek han, na hmaa roe ah na zaehaih kam tuengsak han.
22 “Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you into pieces, and there be no one to deliver.
Sithaw pahnet kaminawk, hae hae panoek oh, to tiah ai nahaeloe nangcae pahlongkung om ai ah, kang taprawt o pat han.
23 Whoever offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies me, and prepares his way so that I will show God’s salvation to him.”
Anghoe angbawnhaih sah kami loe kai pakoeh kami ah oh, coek koi om ai ah ka thuih ih lok pazui kami hanah Sithaw pahlonghaih ka hnuksak han.
