Psalms 47

1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by the sons of Korah. Oh clap your hands, all you nations. Shout to God with the voice of triumph!

ए सबै मानिसहरू हो, आफ्‍ना ताली बजाओ । विजयको सोरले परमेश्‍वरको निम्‍ति कराओ ।

2 For the LORD Most High is awesome. He is a great King over all the earth.

किनकि सर्वोच्‍च परमप्रभु भययोग्य हुनुहुन्छ । सारा पृथ्वीका महान् राजा उहाँ नै हुनुहुन्छ ।

3 He subdues nations under us, and peoples under our feet.

उहाँले मानिसहरूलाई हाम्रो अधीनमा र जातिहरूलाई हाम्रा पाउमुनि पार्नुहुन्छ ।

4 He chooses our inheritance for us, the glory of Jacob whom he loved. (Selah)

उहाँले हाम्रा निम्‍ति हाम्रो उत्तराधिकार रोज्‍नुहुन्‍छ, याकूबको महिमा जसलाई उहाँले प्रेम गर्नुहुन्‍छ । सेला

5 God has gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a shofar.

परमेश्‍वर सोरसँगै, परमप्रभु तुरहीको सोरसँगै माथि जानुभएको छ

6 Sing praises to God! Sing praises! Sing praises to our King! Sing praises!

परमेश्‍वर प्रशंसा गाओ, प्रशंसा गाओ । हाम्रा राजाको निम्‍ति प्रशंसा गाओ, प्रशंसा गाओ ।

7 For God is the King of all the earth. Sing praises with understanding.

किन परमेश्‍वर सारा पृथ्वीमा राजा हुनुहुन्छ । समझले प्रशंसा गाओ ।

8 God reigns over the nations. God sits on his holy throne.

परमेश्‍वरले जातिहरूमा राज्‍य गर्नुहुन्छ । परमेश्‍वर आफ्‍नो पवित्र सिंहासनमा विराजमान हुनुहुन्छ ।

9 The princes of the peoples are gathered together, the people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong to God. He is greatly exalted!

मानिसहरूका शासकहरू अब्राहामका परमेश्‍वरका मानसिहरूकहाँ एकसाथ भेला भएका छन्, किनकि पृथ्वीको ढाल परमेश्‍वरकै हो । उहाँ अति उच्‍च हुनुहुन्छ ।
