Psalms 132
1 A Song of Ascents. LORD, remember David and all his affliction,
| سرود زائران به هنگام بالا رفتن به اورشلیم. ای خداوند، داوود و تمام سختیهای او را به یاد آور |
2 how he swore to the LORD, and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:
| که چگونه برای خداوند قسم خورد و برای قدیرِ یعقوب نذر کرده، گفت: |
3 “Surely I will not come into the structure of my house, nor go up into my bed;
| «به خانۀ خود نخواهم رفت؛ و در بستر خویش آرام نخواهم گرفت، |
4 I will not give sleep to my eyes, or slumber to my eyelids,
| خواب به چشمانم راه نخواهم داد، و نه سنگینی به مژگانم، |
5 until I find out a place for the LORD, a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob.”
| تا وقتی که مکانی برای ساختن خانه‌ای برای خداوندم بیابم و مسکنی برای قدیرِ یعقوب.» |
6 Behold, we heard of it in Ephrathah. We found it in the field of Jaar.
| در بیت‌لحم راجع به صندوق عهد تو شنیدیم، و در صحرای یعاریم آن را یافتیم. |
7 “We will go into his dwelling place. We will worship at his footstool.”
| گفتیم: «بیایید به مسکن خداوند وارد شویم، و در پیشگاه او پرستش کنیم.» |
8 Arise, LORD, into your resting place, you, and the ark of your strength.
| ای خداوند، برخیز و همراه صندوق عهد خود که نشانهٔ قدرت توست به عبادتگاه خود بیا! |
9 Let your priests be clothed with righteousness. Let your holy ones shout for joy!
| باشد که کاهنان تو جامهٔ پاکی و راستی را در بر کنند و قوم تو با شادی سرود خوانند! |
10 For your servant David’s sake, don’t turn away the face of your anointed one.
| ای خداوند، به خاطر بنده‌ات داوود، پادشاه برگزیده‌ات را ترک نکن. |
11 The LORD has sworn to David in truth. He will not turn from it: “I will set the fruit of your body on your throne.
| تو به داوود وعده فرمودی که از نسل او برتخت سلطنت خواهد نشست، و تو به وعده‌ات عمل خواهی کرد. |
12 If your children will keep my covenant, my testimony that I will teach them, their children also will sit on your throne forever more.”
| و نیز به داوود گفتی که اگر فرزندانش از احکام تو اطاعت کنند، نسل اندر نسل سلطنت خواهند کرد. |
13 For the LORD has chosen Zion. He has desired it for his habitation.
| ای خداوند، تو اورشلیم را برگزیده‌ای تا در آن ساکن شوی. |
14 “This is my resting place forever. I will live here, for I have desired it.
| تو فرمودی: «تا ابد در اینجا ساکن خواهم بود، زیرا اینچنین اراده نموده‌ام. |
15 I will abundantly bless her provision. I will satisfy her poor with bread.
| آذوقهٔ این شهر را برکت خواهم داد و فقیرانش را با نان سیر خواهم نمود. |
16 I will also clothe her priests with salvation. Her holy ones will shout aloud for joy.
| کاهنانش را در خدمتی که می‌کنند برکت خواهم داد، و مردمش با شادی سرود خواهند خواند. |
17 I will make the horn of David to bud there. I have ordained a lamp for my anointed.
| «در اینجا قدرت داوود را خواهم افزود و چراغ مسیح خود را روشن نگه خواهم داشت. |
18 I will clothe his enemies with shame, but on himself, his crown will shine.”
| دشمنان او را با رسوایی خواهم پوشاند، اما سلطنت او شکوهمند خواهد بود.» |
