< Psalms 129 >

1 A Song of Ascents. Many times they have afflicted me from my youth up. Let Israel now say:
Waƙar haurawa. Sun yi mini danniya ƙwarai tun ina ƙarami, bari Isra’ila yă ce,
2 many times they have afflicted me from my youth up, yet they have not prevailed against me.
sun yi mini danniya ƙwarai tun ina ƙarami, amma ba su yi nasara a kaina ba.
3 The ploughers ploughed on my back. They made their furrows long.
Manoma sun nome bayana suka yi kunyoyinsu da tsayi.
4 The LORD is righteous. He has cut apart the cords of the wicked.
Amma Ubangiji mai adalci ne; ya’yantar da ni daga igiyoyin mugaye.
5 Let them be disappointed and turned backward, all those who hate Zion.
Bari dukan waɗanda suke ƙin Sihiyona a juye da su baya da kunya.
6 Let them be as the grass on the housetops, which withers before it grows up,
Bari su zama kamar ciyawa a kan rufi, wadda takan bushe kafin tă yi girma;
7 with which the reaper doesn’t fill his hand, nor he who binds sheaves, his bosom.
da ita mai girbi ba ya iya cika hannuwansa, balle wanda yake tarawa yă cika hannuwansa.
8 Neither do those who go by say, “The blessing of the LORD be on you. We bless you in the LORD’s name.”
Kada masu wuce su ce, “Albarkar Ubangiji ta kasance a kanku; muna sa muku albarka a cikin sunan Ubangiji.”
