Matthew 16
1 The Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing him, asked him to show them a sign from heaven.
১ফৰীচী আৰু চদ্দূকী সকলে যীচুক পৰীক্ষা কৰিবৰ কাৰণে তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিল আৰু আকাশৰ পৰা কোনো এটা পৰাক্ৰম কাৰ্যৰ চিন তেওঁলোকক দেখুৱাবলৈ ক’লে।
2 But he answered them, “When it is evening, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’
২যীচুৱে উত্তৰ দি তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “সন্ধিয়া হলে আপোনালোকে কয়, ‘বতৰ ফৰকাল হব, কিয়নো আকাশ খন ৰঙা হৈছে।’
3 In the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but you can’t discern the signs of the times!
৩ৰাতিপুৱা কয়, ‘আজি ডাৱঁৰীয়া হব; কিয়নো আকাশ ৰঙা ও অন্ধকাৰ হৈছে।’ আপোনালোকে আকাশৰ অৱস্থাৰ প্ৰভেদ বিচাৰ কৰিব জানে, অথচ সময়ৰ চিন বুজিব নোৱাৰে।
4 An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and there will be no sign given to it, except the sign of the prophet Jonah.” He left them and departed.
৪এই যুগৰ পাপী আৰু ব্যভিচাৰীলোক সকলে পৰাক্ৰম কাৰ্যৰ চিন বিচাৰে৷ কিন্তু যোনাৰ চিনৰ বাহিৰে তেওঁলোকক আন একো চিন দেখুওৱা নহ’ব।” তাৰ পাছত যীচুৱে তেওঁলোকক এৰি গুচি গ’ল।
5 The disciples came to the other side and had forgotten to take bread.
৫পাছত তেওঁৰ শিষ্য সকল সিপাৰলৈ আহিল, কিন্তু লগত পিঠা আনিবলৈ পাহৰি গ’ল।
6 Yeshua said to them, “Take heed and beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
৬যীচুৱে তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “তোমালোকে শুনা! ফৰীচী আৰু চদ্দূকী সকলৰ খমিৰৰ পৰা সাৱধানে থাকিবা।”
7 They reasoned amongst themselves, saying, “We brought no bread.”
৭শিষ্য সকলে নিজৰ মাজত কোৱা-কুই কৰিলে, “আমি পিঠা অনা নাই কাৰণে তেওঁ এইদৰে ক’লে নেকি৷”
8 Yeshua, perceiving it, said, “Why do you reason amongst yourselves, you of little faith, because you have brought no bread?
৮এই কথা বুজিব পাৰি যীচুৱে ক’লে, “অল্পবিশ্বাসী সকল, তোমালোকে নিজৰ মাজত পিঠা লৈ নহাৰ কাৰণে এই কথা কৈছোঁ বুলি কিয় আলোচনা কৰিছা?
9 Don’t you yet perceive or remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many baskets you took up,
৯তোমালোকে এতিয়াও বুজা নাই নে বা তোমালোকৰ মনতো পৰা নাই নে সেই পাঁচ হাজাৰ মানুহৰ কাৰণে পাঁচটা পিঠাৰ কথা আৰু তাৰ পাছত কেইটা পাচি তোমালোকে তুলি লৈছিলা?
10 or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many baskets you took up?
১০নাইবা সেই চাৰি হাজাৰ মানুহৰ কাৰণে সাতটা পিঠাৰ কথা আৰু কেইটা পাচি তোমালোকে তুলি লৈছিলা?
11 How is it that you don’t perceive that I didn’t speak to you concerning bread? But beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
১১মই যে তোমালোকক পিঠাৰ কথা কোৱা নাই, সেই বিষয়ে তোমালোকে কিয় বুজি পোৱা নাই? কিন্তু ফৰীচী আৰু চদ্দূকী সকলৰ খমিৰৰ পৰা সাৱধান হবলৈহে কৈছোঁ।”
12 Then they understood that he didn’t tell them to beware of the yeast of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
১২তেতিয়া শিষ্য সকলে বুজি পালে যে, তেওঁ পিঠাৰ খমিৰৰ পৰা তেওঁলোকক সাৱধান হবলৈ কোৱা নাই, কিন্তু ফৰীচী আৰু চদ্দূকী সকলৰ শিক্ষাৰ পৰাহে সাৱধান হ’বৰ বাবে কৈছে।
13 Now when Yeshua came into the parts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?”
১৩তাৰ পাছত যীচু যেতিয়া চীজাৰিয়া-ফিলিপীৰ অঞ্চললৈ গ’ল, তেতিয়া শিষ্য সকলক তেওঁ সুধিলে “মানুহৰ পুত্ৰ কোন”এই বিষয়ে লোক সকলে কি বুলি কয়?
14 They said, “Some say Yochanan the Immerser, some, Elijah, and others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
১৪তেওঁলোকে ক’লে, “কোনো কোনোৱে কয় বাপ্তিস্ম দিওঁতা যোহন; কোনোৱে এলিয়া, আন কোনোৱে যিৰিমিয়া বা ভাৱবাদী সকলৰ এজন বুলি কয়৷”
15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
১৫তেতিয়া তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক সুধিলে, “কিন্তু তোমালোকে নো মোক কোন বুলি ভাবা?”
16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
১৬তেতিয়া চিমোন পিতৰে উত্তৰ দি কলে, “আপুনি সেই অভিষিক্ত জন অৰ্থাৎ খ্ৰীষ্ট, জীৱন্ত ঈশ্বৰৰ পুত্ৰ।”
17 Yeshua answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.
১৭তেতিয়া যীচুৱে উত্তৰ দি তেওঁক ক’লে, “বাৰ যোনাৰ পুত্ৰ চিমোন, তুমি ধন্য; কিয়নো তেজ আৰু মাংসই তোমাৰ আগত এই কথা প্ৰকাশ কৰা নাই, কিন্তু স্বৰ্গত থকা মোৰ পিতৃয়েহে প্ৰকাশ কৰিলে।
18 I also tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and the gates of Sheol will not prevail against it. (Hadēs g86)
১৮ময়ো তোমাক কওঁ যে ‘তুমি পিতৰ অৰ্থাৎ শিল’, আৰু এই শিলৰ ওপৰত মই মোৰ মণ্ডলী স্থাপন কৰিম, মৃত্যুৰ কোনো শক্তিয়েইয়াক পৰাজয় কৰিব নোৱাৰিব। (Hadēs g86)
19 I will give to you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven; and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven.”
১৯মই তোমাক স্বৰ্গৰাজ্যৰ চাবিবোৰ দিম, তাতে তুমি এই পৃথিৱীত যিহকে বান্ধিবা, সেয়ে স্বৰ্গতো বান্ধি ৰখা হ’ব; আৰু তুমি পৃথিৱীত যিহকে মুকলি কৰিবা, সেয়ে স্বৰ্গতো মুকলি হবলৈ দিয়া হ’ব।”
20 Then he commanded the disciples that they should tell no one that he was Yeshua the Messiah.
২০তেতিয়া যীচুৱে শিষ্য সকলক এই আজ্ঞা দিলে, তেওঁলোকে যাতে কাকো নকয় যে তেৱেঁই “খ্রীষ্ট, অৰ্থাৎ অভিষিক্ত জন”।
21 From that time, Yeshua began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up.
২১সেই সময়ৰ পৰা যীচুৱে তেওঁৰ শিষ্য সকলক জনাবলৈ ধৰিলে যে, তেওঁ অৱশ্যেই যিৰূচালেমলৈ যাব লাগিব, আৰু তাত পৰিচাৰক, প্ৰধান পুৰোহিত আৰু বিধানৰ অধ্যাপক সকলৰ পৰা অনেক দুখভোগ পাই মৃত্যুভোগ কৰি তিন দিনৰ দিনা পুনৰায় উঠিব লাগিব।
22 Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him, saying, “Far be it from you, Lord! This will never be done to you.”
২২তেতিয়া পিতৰে তেওঁক একাষলৈ নি অনুযোগ কৰি ক’লে “হে প্ৰভু, ই আপোনাৰ পৰা দূৰ হওক! আপোনাৰ প্ৰতি কেতিয়াও এনে নঘটক।”
23 But he turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, for you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of men.”
২৩কিন্তু যীচুৱে পিতৰৰ ফালে ঘূৰি চাই তেওঁ ক’লে, “মোৰ আগৰ পৰা দূৰ হ চয়তান; তই মোৰ পথৰ বিঘিনি স্বৰূপ, তই ঈশ্বৰৰ কথা নাভাবি, মানুহৰ কথাহে ভাবিছ।”
24 Then Yeshua said to his disciples, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.
২৪তাৰ পাছত যীচুৱে তেওঁৰ শিষ্য সকলক ক’লে, “কোনোৱে যদি মোৰ পাছত আহিবলৈ ইচ্ছা কৰে, তেনেহলে তেওঁ নিজকে অস্বীকাৰ কৰক আৰু নিজৰ ক্ৰুচ তুলি লৈ, মোক অনুসৰণ কৰক।
25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, and whoever will lose his life for my sake will find it.
২৫কিয়নো যি কোনোৱে নিজৰ জীৱন ৰক্ষা কৰিব খোজে, তেওঁ তাক হেৰুৱাব; কিন্তু যি কোনোৱে মোৰ কাৰণে নিজৰ জীৱন হেৰুৱায়, তেওঁ সেই জীৱন পাব।
26 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life?
২৬কাৰণ কোনো মানুহে গোটেই খন জগত পায়ো যদি নিজৰ জীৱনকে হানি কৰে, তেনেহলে তেওঁৰ কি লাভ? মানুহে নিজৰ প্ৰাণৰ সলনি কি দিব পাৰে?
27 For the Son of Man will come in the glory of his Father with his angels, and then he will render to everyone according to his deeds.
২৭কিয়নো মানুহৰ পুত্ৰই নিজৰ পিতৃৰ প্ৰতাপেৰে স্বর্গৰ দূত সকলক লগত লৈ আহিব৷ তেতিয়া তেওঁ প্ৰতিজনক নিজৰ কৰ্ম অনুসাৰে ফল দিব।”
28 Most certainly I tell you, there are some standing here who will in no way taste of death until they see the Son of Man coming in his Kingdom.”
২৮মই তোমালোকক স্বৰূপকৈ কওঁ, তোমালোকৰ মাজত এনে কিছুমান লোক ইয়াত থিয় হৈ আছে, যি সকলে মানুহৰ পুত্ৰক নিজৰ ৰাজ্যলৈ অহা নেদেখা পর্যন্ত মৃত্যুভোগ নকৰে।”
