Mark 12
1 He began to speak to them in parables. “A man planted a vineyard, put a hedge around it, dug a pit for the wine press, built a tower, rented it out to a farmer, and went into another country.
E começou a fallar-lhes por parabolas: Um homem plantou uma vinha, e cercou-a de um vallado, e fundou n'ella um lagar, e edificou uma torre, e arrendou-a a uns lavradores, e partiu para fóra da terra;
2 When it was time, he sent a servant to the farmer to get from the farmer his share of the fruit of the vineyard.
E, chegado o tempo, mandou um servo aos lavradores para que recebesse, dos lavradores, do fructo da vinha.
3 They took him, beat him, and sent him away empty.
Mas elles, apoderando-se d'elle, o feriram e o mandaram embora vasio.
4 Again, he sent another servant to them; and they threw stones at him, wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully treated.
E tornou a enviar-lhes outro servo; e elles, apedrejando-o, o feriram na cabeça, e o mandaram embora, tendo-o affrontado.
5 Again he sent another, and they killed him, and many others, beating some, and killing some.
E tornou a enviar-lhes outro, e a este mataram, e outros muitos, e feriram uns, e mataram outros.
6 Therefore still having one, his beloved son, he sent him last to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’
Tendo elle pois ainda um seu filho amado, enviou-o tambem a estes por derradeiro, dizendo: Ao menos terão respeito ao meu filho.
7 But those farmers said amongst themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’
Mas aquelles lavradores disseram entre si: Este é o herdeiro; vamos, matemol-o, e a herança será nossa.
8 They took him, killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.
E, pegando d'elle, o mataram, e o lançaram fóra da vinha.
9 What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the farmers, and will give the vineyard to others.
Que fará pois o Senhor da vinha? Virá, e destruirá os lavradores, e dará a vinha a outros.
10 Haven’t you even read this Scripture: ‘The stone which the builders rejected was made the head of the corner.
Ainda não lestes esta Escriptura: A pedra, que os edificadores rejeitaram, esta foi posta por cabeça da esquina:
11 This was from the Lord. It is marvellous in our eyes’?”
Isto foi feito pelo Senhor, e é coisa maravilhosa aos nossos olhos?
12 They tried to seize him, but they feared the multitude; for they perceived that he spoke the parable against them. They left him and went away.
E buscavam prendel-o, mas temiam a multidão, porque entendiam que contra elles dizia esta parabola: e, deixando-o, foram-se.
13 They sent some of the Pharisees and the Herodians to him, that they might trap him with words.
E enviaram-lhe alguns dos phariseos e dos herodianos, para que o apanhassem n'alguma palavra.
14 When they had come, they asked him, “Rabbi, we know that you are honest, and don’t defer to anyone; for you aren’t partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?
E, chegando elles, disseram-lhe: Mestre, sabemos que és homem de verdade, e de ninguem se te dá, porque não olhas á apparencia dos homens, antes com verdade ensinas o caminho de Deus: é licito dar o tributo a Cesar, ou não? Daremos, ou não daremos?
15 Shall we give, or shall we not give?” But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, “Why do you test me? Bring me a denarius, that I may see it.”
Então ele, conhecendo a sua hypocrisia, disse-lhes: Porque me tentaes? trazei-me uma moeda, para que a veja.
16 They brought it. He said to them, “Whose is this image and inscription?” They said to him, “Caesar’s.”
E elles lh'a trouxeram. E disse-lhes: De quem é esta imagem e inscripção? E elles lhe disseram: De Cesar.
17 Yeshua answered them, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” They marvelled greatly at him.
E Jesus, respondendo, disse-lhes: Dae pois a Cesar o que é de Cesar, e a Deus o que é de Deus. E maravilharam-se d'elle.
18 Some Sadducees, who say that there is no resurrection, came to him. They asked him, saying,
Então os sadduceos, que dizem que não ha resurreição, approximaram-se d'elle, e perguntaram-lhe, dizendo:
19 “Rabbi, Moses wrote to us, ‘If a man’s brother dies and leaves a wife behind him, and leaves no children, that his brother should take his wife and raise up offspring for his brother.’
Mestre, Moysés nos escreveu que, se morresse o irmão de alguem, e deixasse mulher e não deixasse filhos, seu irmão tomasse a mulher d'elle, e suscitasse semente a seu irmão.
20 There were seven brothers. The first took a wife, and dying left no offspring.
Ora havia sete irmãos, e o primeiro tomou mulher, e morreu sem deixar semente;
21 The second took her, and died, leaving no children behind him. The third likewise;
E o segundo tambem a tomou e morreu, e nem este deixou semente; e o terceiro da mesma maneira;
22 and the seven took her and left no children. Last of all the woman also died.
E tomaram-n'a todos os sete, sem, comtudo, deixarem semente. Finalmente, depois de todos, morreu tambem a mulher.
23 In the resurrection, when they rise, whose wife will she be of them? For the seven had her as a wife.”
Na resurreição, pois, quando resuscitarem, de qual d'estes será a mulher? porque os sete a tiveram por mulher.
24 Yeshua answered them, “Isn’t this because you are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God?
E Jesus, respondendo, disse-lhes: Porventura não erraes vós, porque não sabeis as Escripturas nem o poder de Deus?
25 For when they will rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.
Porquanto, quando resuscitarem dos mortos, nem casarão, nem se darão em casamento, mas serão como os anjos que estão nos céus.
26 But about the dead, that they are raised, haven’t you read in the book of Moses about the Bush, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’?
E, ácerca dos mortos que houverem de resuscitar, não tendes lido no livro de Moysés como Deus lhe fallou na sarça, dizendo: Eu sou o Deus de Abrahão, e o Deus de Isaac, e o Deus de Jacob?
27 He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are therefore badly mistaken.”
Ora Deus não é dos mortos, mas sim Deus dos vivos. Por isso vós erraes muito.
28 One of the scribes came and heard them questioning together, and knowing that he had answered them well, asked him, “Which commandment is the greatest of all?”
E, approximando-se d'elle um dos escribas que os tinha ouvido disputar, sabendo que lhes tinha respondido bem, perguntou-lhe: Qual é o primeiro de todos os mandamentos?
29 Yeshua answered, “The greatest is: ‘Hear, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.
E Jesus respondeu-lhe: O primeiro de todos os mandamentos é: Ouve, Israel, o Senhor nosso Deus é o unico Senhor.
30 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.
Amarás, pois, o Senhor teu Deus de todo o teu coração, e de toda a tua alma, e de todo o teu entendimento, e de todas as tuas forças: este é o primeiro mandamento.
31 The second is like this: ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
E o segundo, similhante a este, é: Amarás o teu proximo como a ti mesmo. Não ha outro mandamento maior do que estes.
32 The scribe said to him, “Truly, Rabbi, you have said well that he is one, and there is none other but he;
E o escriba lhe disse: Muito bem, Mestre, e com verdade disseste que ha um só Deus, e que não ha outro além d'elle;
33 and to love him with all the heart, with all the understanding, all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”
E que amal-o de todo o coração, e de todo o entendimento, e de toda a alma, e de todas as forças, e amar o proximo como a si mesmo, é mais do que todos os holocaustos e sacrificios.
34 When Yeshua saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from God’s Kingdom.” No one dared ask him any question after that.
E Jesus, vendo que havia respondido sabiamente, disse-lhe: Não estás longe do reino de Deus. E já ninguem ousava perguntar-lhe mais nada.
35 Yeshua responded, as he taught in the temple, “How is it that the scribes say that the Messiah is the son of David?
E, fallando Jesus, dizia, ensinando no templo: Como dizem os escribas que o Christo é filho de David?
36 For David himself said in the Holy Spirit, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet.”’
Porque o mesmo David disse pelo Espirito Sancto: O Senhor disse ao meu Senhor: Assenta-te á minha direita até que eu ponha os teus inimigos por escabello dos teus pés.
37 Therefore David himself calls him Lord, so how can he be his son?” The common people heard him gladly.
Pois, se David mesmo lhe chama Senhor, como é logo seu filho? E a grande multidão o ouvia de boa vontade.
38 In his teaching he said to them, “Beware of the scribes, who like to walk in long robes, and to get greetings in the marketplaces,
E, ensinando-os, dizia-lhes: Guardae-vos dos escribas, que gostam de andar com vestidos compridos, e das saudações nas praças,
39 and to get the best seats in the synagogues and the best places at feasts,
E das primeiras cadeiras nas synagogas, e dos primeiros assentos nas ceias;
40 those who devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayers. These will receive greater condemnation.”
Que devoram as casas das viuvas, e isso com pretexto de largas orações. Estes receberão mais grave condemnação.
41 Yeshua sat down opposite the treasury and saw how the multitude cast money into the treasury. Many who were rich cast in much.
E, estando Jesus assentado defronte da arca do thesouro, observava a maneira como a multidão lançava o dinheiro na arca do thesouro; e muitos ricos deitavam muito.
42 A poor widow came and she cast in two small brass coins, which equal a quadrans coin.
E, chegando uma pobre viuva, deitou duas pequenas moedas, que valiam quatro réis.
43 He called his disciples to himself and said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, this poor widow gave more than all those who are giving into the treasury,
E, chamando os seus discipulos, disse-lhes: Em verdade vos digo que esta pobre viuva deitou mais do que todos os que deitaram na arca do thesouro,
44 for they all gave out of their abundance, but she, out of her poverty, gave all that she had to live on.”
Porque todos ali deitaram do que lhes sobejava, mas esta, da sua pobreza, deitou tudo o que tinha, todo o seu sustento.
