Mark 1
1 The beginning of the Good News of Yeshua the Messiah, the Son of God.
ദൈവപുത്രനായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സുവിശേഷത്തിന്റെ ആരംഭം:
2 As it is written in the Prophets, “Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you:
“ഞാൻ നിനക്കു മുമ്പായി എന്റെ ദൂതനെ അയക്കുന്നു; അവൻ നിന്റെ വഴി ഒരുക്കും.
3 the voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make ready the way of the Lord! Make his paths straight!’”
കൎത്താവിന്റെ വഴി ഒരുക്കുവിൻ അവന്റെ പാത നിരപ്പാക്കുവിൻ എന്നു മരുഭൂമിയിൽ വിളിച്ചുപറയുന്നവന്റെ വാക്കു” എന്നിങ്ങനെ യെശയ്യാപ്രവാചകന്റെ പുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ
4 Yochanan came immersing in the wilderness and proclaiming the immersion of repentance for forgiveness of sins.
യോഹന്നാൻ വന്നു മരുഭൂമിയിൽ സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിച്ചും പാപമോചനത്തിന്നായുള്ള മാനസാന്തരസ്നാനം പ്രസംഗിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
5 All the country of Judea and all those of Jerusalem went out to him. They were immersed by him in the Jordan river, confessing their sins.
അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ യെഹൂദ്യദേശം ഒക്കെയും യെരൂശലേമ്യർ എല്ലാവരും വന്നു പാപങ്ങളെ ഏറ്റുപറഞ്ഞു യോൎദ്ദാൻ നദിയിൽ അവനാൽ സ്നാനം കഴിഞ്ഞു.
6 Yochanan was clothed with camel’s hair and a leather belt around his waist. He ate locusts and wild honey.
യോഹന്നാനോ ഒട്ടക രോമംകൊണ്ടുള്ള ഉടുപ്പും അരയിൽ തോൽ വാറും ധരിച്ചും വെട്ടുക്കിളിയും കാട്ടുതേനും ഉപജീവിച്ചും പോന്നു.
7 He preached, saying, “After me comes he who is mightier than I, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and loosen.
എന്നിലും ബലമേറിയവൻ എന്റെ പിന്നാലെ വരുന്നു; അവന്റെ ചെരിപ്പിന്റെ വാറു കുനിഞ്ഞഴിപ്പാൻ ഞാൻ യോഗ്യനല്ല.
8 I immersed you in water, but he will immerse you in the Holy Spirit.”
ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ വെള്ളത്തിൽ സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; അവനോ നിങ്ങളെ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിൽ സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിക്കും എന്നു അവൻ പ്രസംഗിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.
9 In those days, Yeshua came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was immersed by Yochanan in the Jordan.
ആ കാലത്തു യേശു ഗലീലയിലെ നസറെത്തിൽ നിന്നു വന്നു യോഹന്നാനാൽ യോൎദ്ദാനിൽ സ്നാനം കഴിഞ്ഞു.
10 Immediately coming up from the water, he saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.
വെള്ളത്തിൽ നിന്നു കയറിയ ഉടനെ ആകാശം പിളരുന്നതും ആത്മാവു പ്രാവുപോലെ തന്റെ മേൽ വരുന്നതും കണ്ടു:
11 A voice came out of the sky, “You are my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
നീ എന്റെ പ്രിയപുത്രൻ; നിന്നിൽ ഞാൻ പ്രസാദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു സ്വൎഗ്ഗത്തിൽ നിന്നു ഒരു ശബ്ദവും ഉണ്ടായി.
12 Immediately the Spirit drove him out into the wilderness.
അനന്തരം ആത്മാവു അവനെ മരുഭൂമിയിലേക്കു പോകുവാൻ നിൎബന്ധിച്ചു.
13 He was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals; and the angels were serving him.
അവിടെ അവൻ സാത്താനാൽ പരീക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടു നാല്പതു ദിവസം മരുഭൂമിയിൽ കാട്ടുമൃഗങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ആയിരുന്നു; ദൂതന്മാർ അവനെ ശുശ്രൂഷിച്ചു പോന്നു.
14 Now after Yochanan was taken into custody, Yeshua came into Galilee, proclaiming the Good News of God’s Kingdom,
എന്നാൽ യോഹന്നാൻ തടവിൽ ആയശേഷം യേശു ഗലീലയിൽ ചെന്നു ദൈവരാജ്യത്തിന്റെ സുവിശേഷം പ്രസംഗിച്ചു:
15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and God’s Kingdom is at hand! Repent, and believe in the Good News.”
കാലം തികഞ്ഞു ദൈവരാജ്യം സമീപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; മാനസാന്തരപ്പെട്ടു സുവിശേഷത്തിൽ വിശ്വസിപ്പിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
16 Passing along by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew, the brother of Simon, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen.
അവൻ ഗലീലക്കടല്പുറത്തു നടക്കുമ്പോൾ ശീമോനും അവന്റെ സഹോദരനായ അന്ത്രെയാസും കടലിൽ വല വീശുന്നതു കണ്ടു; അവർ മീൻ പിടിക്കുന്നവർ ആയിരുന്നു.
17 Yeshua said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you into fishers for men.”
യേശു അവരോടു: എന്നെ അനുഗമിപ്പിൻ; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ മനുഷ്യരെ പിടിക്കുന്നവരാക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
18 Immediately they left their nets, and followed him.
ഉടനെ അവർ വല വിട്ടു അവനെ അനുഗമിച്ചു.
19 Going on a little further from there, he saw Jacob the son of Zebedee, and Yochanan his brother, who were also in the boat mending the nets.
അവിടെ നിന്നു അല്പം മുന്നോട്ടു ചെന്നപ്പോൾ സെബെദിയുടെ മകനായ യാക്കോബും അവന്റെ സഹോദരനായ യോഹന്നാനും പടകിൽ ഇരുന്നു വല നന്നാക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു.
20 Immediately he called them, and they left their father, Zebedee, in the boat with the hired servants, and went after him.
ഉടനെ അവരെയും വിളിച്ചു; അവർ അപ്പനായ സെബെദിയെ കൂലിക്കാരോടുകൂടെ പടകിൽ വിട്ടു അവനെ അനുഗമിച്ചു.
21 They went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath day he entered into the synagogue and taught.
അവർ കഫൎന്നഹൂമിലേക്കു പോയി; ശബ്ബത്തിൽ അവൻ പള്ളിയിൽ ചെന്നു ഉപദേശിച്ചു.
22 They were astonished at his teaching, for he taught them as having authority, and not as the scribes.
അവന്റെ ഉപദേശത്തിങ്കൽ അവർ വിസ്മയിച്ചു; അവൻ ശാസ്ത്രിമാരെപ്പോലെയല്ല, അധികാരമുള്ളവനായിട്ടത്രേ അവരെ ഉപദേശിച്ചതു.
23 Immediately there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out,
അവരുടെ പള്ളിയിൽ അശുദ്ധാത്മാവുള്ള ഒരു മനുഷ്യൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവൻ നിലവിളിച്ചു:
24 saying, “Ha! What do we have to do with you, Yeshua, you Nazarene? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are: the Holy One of God!”
നസറായനായ യേശുവേ, ഞങ്ങൾക്കും നിനക്കും തമ്മിൽ എന്തു? ഞങ്ങളെ നശിപ്പിപ്പാൻ വന്നുവോ? നീ ആർ എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധൻ തന്നേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
25 Yeshua rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!”
യേശു അതിനെ ശാസിച്ചു: മിണ്ടരുതു; അവനെ വിട്ടുപോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
26 The unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying with a loud voice, came out of him.
അപ്പോൾ അശുദ്ധാത്മാവു അവനെ ഇഴെച്ചു, ഉറക്കെ നിലവിളിച്ചു അവനെ വിട്ടു പോയി.
27 They were all amazed, so that they questioned amongst themselves, saying, “What is this? A new teaching? For with authority he commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him!”
എല്ലാവരും ആശ്ചൎയ്യപ്പെട്ടു: ഇതെന്തു? ഒരു പുതിയ ഉപദേശം; അവൻ അധികാരത്തോടെ അശുദ്ധാത്മാക്കളോടും കല്പിക്കുന്നു; അവ അവനെ അനുസരിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു തമ്മിൽ വാദിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
28 The report of him went out immediately everywhere into all the region of Galilee and its surrounding area.
അവന്റെ ശ്രുതി വേഗത്തിൽ ഗലീലനാടു എങ്ങും പരന്നു.
29 Immediately, when they had come out of the synagogue, they came into the house of Simon and Andrew, with Jacob and Yochanan.
അനന്തരം അവർ പള്ളിയിൽ നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങി യാക്കോബും യോഹന്നാനുമായി ശിമോന്റെയും അന്ത്രെയാസിന്റെയും വീട്ടിൽ വന്നു.
30 Now Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick with a fever, and immediately they told him about her.
അവിടെ ശിമോന്റെ അമ്മാവിയമ്മ പനിപിടിച്ചു കിടന്നിരുന്നു; അവർ അവളെക്കുറിച്ചു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു.
31 He came and took her by the hand and raised her up. The fever left her immediately, and she served them.
അവൻ അടുത്തു ചെന്നു അവളെ കൈക്കുപിടിച്ചു എഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചു; പനി അവളെ വിട്ടുമാറി, അവൾ അവരെ ശുശ്രൂഷിച്ചു.
32 At evening, when the sun had set, they brought to him all who were sick and those who were possessed by demons.
വൈകുന്നേരം സൂൎയ്യൻ അസ്തമിച്ചശേഷം അവർ സകലവിധദീനക്കാരെയും ഭൂതഗ്രസ്തരെയും അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.
33 All the city was gathered together at the door.
പട്ടണം ഒക്കെയും വാതിൽക്കൽ വന്നു കൂടിയിരുന്നു.
34 He healed many who were sick with various diseases and cast out many demons. He didn’t allow the demons to speak, because they knew him.
നാനാവ്യാധികളാൽ വലഞ്ഞിരുന്ന അനേകരെ അവൻ സൌഖ്യമാക്കി, അനേകം ഭൂതങ്ങളെയും പുറത്താക്കി; ഭൂതങ്ങൾ അവനെ അറികകൊണ്ടു സംസാരിപ്പാൻ അവയെ സമ്മതിച്ചില്ല.
35 Early in the morning, while it was still dark, he rose up and went out, and departed into a deserted place, and prayed there.
അതികാലത്തു ഇരുട്ടോടെ അവൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റു പുറപ്പെട്ടു ഒരു നിൎജ്ജനസ്ഥലത്തു ചെന്നു പ്രാൎത്ഥിച്ചു.
36 Simon and those who were with him searched for him.
ശിമോനും കൂടെയുള്ളവരും അവന്റെ പിന്നാലെ ചെന്നു,
37 They found him and told him, “Everyone is looking for you.”
അവനെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ: എല്ലാവരും നിന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
38 He said to them, “Let’s go elsewhere into the next towns, that I may proclaim there also, because I came out for this reason.”
അവൻ അവരോടു: ഞാൻ അടുത്ത ഊരുകളിലും പ്രസംഗിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നാം അവിടേക്കു പോക; ഇതിന്നായിട്ടല്ലോ ഞാൻ പുറപ്പെട്ടു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
39 He went into their synagogues throughout all Galilee, proclaiming and casting out demons.
അങ്ങനെ അവൻ ഗലീലയിൽ ഒക്കെയും അവരുടെ പള്ളികളിൽ ചെന്നു പ്രസംഗിക്കയും ഭൂതങ്ങളെ പുറത്താക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
40 A leper came to him, begging him, kneeling down to him, and saying to him, “If you want to, you can make me clean.”
ഒരു കുഷ്ഠരോഗി അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു മുട്ടുകുത്തി: നിനക്കു മനസ്സുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ എന്നെ ശുദ്ധമാക്കുവാൻ കഴിയും എന്നു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു.
41 Being moved with compassion, he stretched out his hand, and touched him, and said to him, “I want to. Be made clean.”
യേശു മനസ്സലിഞ്ഞു കൈ നീട്ടി അവനെ തൊട്ടു:
42 When he had said this, immediately the leprosy departed from him and he was made clean.
മനസ്സുണ്ടു, ശുദ്ധമാക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞ ഉടനെ കുഷ്ഠം വിട്ടുമാറി അവന്നു ശുദ്ധിവന്നു.
43 He strictly warned him and immediately sent him out,
യേശു അവനെ അമൎച്ചയായി ശാസിച്ചു:
44 and said to him, “See that you say nothing to anybody, but go show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing the things which Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.”
നോക്കു, ആരോടും ഒന്നും പറയരുതു; എന്നാൽ ചെന്നു പുരോഹിതന്നു നിന്നെത്തന്നേ കാണിച്ചു, നിന്റെ ശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടി മോശെ കല്പിച്ചതു അവൎക്കു സാക്ഷ്യത്തിന്നായി അൎപ്പിക്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനെ വിട്ടയച്ചു.
45 But he went out, and began to proclaim it much, and to spread about the matter, so that Yeshua could no more openly enter into a city, but was outside in desert places. People came to him from everywhere.
അവനോ പുറപ്പെട്ടു വളരെ ഘോഷിപ്പാനും വസ്തുത പ്രസംഗിപ്പാനും തുടങ്ങി; അതിനാൽ യേശുവിന്നു പരസ്യമായി പട്ടണത്തിൽ കടപ്പാൻ കഴിയായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവൻ പുറത്തു നിൎജ്ജനസ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ പാൎത്തു; എല്ലാടത്തു നിന്നും ആളുകൾ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു കൂടി.
