Leviticus 24
1 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Yavé habló a Moisés:
2 “Command the children of Israel, that they bring to you pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually.
Ordena a los hijos de Israel que te traigan aceite puro de olivas machacadas para el alumbrado a fin de que arda la lámpara continuamente.
3 Outside of the veil of the Testimony, in the Tent of Meeting, Aaron shall keep it in order from evening to morning before the LORD continually. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations.
Aarón la dispondrá en el Tabernáculo de Reunión, al exterior del velo del Testimonio, para que esté de continuo delante de Yavé, desde cuando llega la noche hasta la mañana. Es estatuto perpetuo para sus generaciones.
4 He shall keep in order the lamps on the pure gold lamp stand before the LORD continually.
Mantendrá las lámparas delante de Yavé continuamente sobre el candelabro de oro puro.
5 “You shall take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes of it: two tenths of an efah shall be in one cake.
Tomarás flor de harina y hornearás con ella 12 tortas. Cada torta será de 4,4 litros.
6 You shall set them in two rows, six on a row, on the pure gold table before the LORD.
Las pondrás sobre la mesa de oro puro en dos hileras, seis en cada hilera, en la Presencia de Yavé.
7 You shall put pure frankincense on each row, that it may be to the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire to the LORD.
Junto a cada hilera pondrás incienso puro, para que sea el pan como un memorial, una ofrenda quemada a Yavé.
8 Every Sabbath day he shall set it in order before the LORD continually. It is an everlasting covenant on the behalf of the children of Israel.
Cada sábado lo dispondrá continuamente delante de Yavé, de parte de los hijos de Israel como Pacto perpetuo.
9 It shall be for Aaron and his sons. They shall eat it in a holy place; for it is most holy to him of the offerings of the LORD made by fire by a perpetual statute.”
Las ofrendas quemadas de Yavé serán para Aarón y sus hijos, los cuales las comerán en un lugar sagrado, porque es cosa santísima para él. Este es un estatuto perpetuo.
10 The son of an Israelite woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out amongst the children of Israel; and the son of the Israelite woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp.
Surgió entre los israelitas un hijo de una mujer israelita cuyo padre era egipcio, y el hijo de la israelita peleó en el campamento con un varón de Israel.
11 The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name, and cursed; and they brought him to Moses. His mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.
El hijo de la mujer israelita blasfemó el Nombre y maldijo, y fue llevado a Moisés. El nombre de su madre era Selomit, hija de Dibrí, de la tribu de Dan.
12 They put him in custody until the LORD’s will should be declared to them.
Lo pusieron bajo custodia hasta que les fuera declarado el mandato de Yavé.
13 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Yavé habló a Moisés:
14 “Bring him who cursed out of the camp; and let all who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him.
Haz salir al profano fuera del campamento, y todos los que lo oyeron impongan sus manos sobre la cabeza de éste y apedréelo toda la congregación.
15 You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin.
Hablarás a los hijos de Israel: Cualquier hombre que maldiga a su ʼElohim, llevará su pecado,
16 He who blasphemes the LORD’s name, he shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall certainly stone him. The foreigner as well as the native-born shall be put to death when he blasphemes the Name.
y el que blasfeme el Nombre de Yavé morirá sin compasión. Sin falta toda la congregación lo apedreará. Sea extranjero o nativo, si blasfema el Nombre morirá.
17 “‘He who strikes any man mortally shall surely be put to death.
El hombre que hiera de muerte a otro hombre morirá sin compasión.
18 He who strikes an animal mortally shall make it good, life for life.
El que mate algún animal lo restituirá, animal por animal.
19 If anyone injures his neighbour, it shall be done to him as he has done:
El que cause lesión a su prójimo, según hizo, así se le hará:
20 fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. It shall be done to him as he has injured someone.
fractura por fractura, ojo por ojo, diente por diente. Según la lesión que cause a otro, así se le hará.
21 He who kills an animal shall make it good; and he who kills a man shall be put to death.
De manera que el que mate un animal, lo pagará, pero el que mate a un hombre morirá.
22 You shall have one kind of law for the foreigner as well as the native-born; for I am the LORD your God.’”
Una misma ley habrá para ustedes, tanto para el extranjero como para el nativo, porque Yo soy Yavé su ʼElohim.
23 Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and they brought him who had cursed out of the camp, and stoned him with stones. The children of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.
Entonces Moisés habló a los hijos de Israel, y ellos sacaron al blasfemo fuera del campamento y lo apedrearon. Los hijos de Israel hicieron según lo que Yavé ordenó a Moisés.
