Yochanan 6
1 After these things, Yeshua went away to the other side of the sea of Galilee, which is also called the Sea of Tiberias.
Nach diesem gieng Jesus auf die andere Seite des Galiläischen Sees von Tiberias.
2 A great multitude followed him, because they saw his signs which he did on those who were sick.
Es folgte ihm aber eine große Menge, weil sie die Zeichen schauten, die er an den Kranken that.
3 Yeshua went up into the mountain, and he sat there with his disciples.
Jesus aber gieng auf den Berg, und dort setzte er sich mit seinen Jüngern.
4 Now the Passover, the Jewish festival, was at hand.
Es war aber nahe am Passa, dem Fest der Juden.
5 Yeshua therefore, lifting up his eyes and seeing that a great multitude was coming to him, said to Philip, “Where are we to buy bread, that these may eat?”
Da nun Jesus die Augen aufhob und wahrnahm, daß eine große Menge zu ihm komme, sagt er zu Philippus: woher sollen wir Brote kaufen, daß diese essen können?
6 He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do.
Das sagte er aber ihn zu versuchen. Denn er wußte, was er thun wollte.
7 Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may receive a little.”
Antwortete ihm Philippus: für zweihundert Denare Brot reichen nicht für sie, daß jeder nur ein wenig bekäme.
8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to him,
Sagt zu ihm einer von seinen Jüngern, Andreas, der Bruder des Simon Petrus:
9 “There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are these amongst so many?”
es ist ein Knabe hier, der hat fünf Gerstenbrote und zwei Fische, was ist das auf so Viele?
10 Yeshua said, “Have the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in that place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
Sagt Jesus: lasset die Leute sich lagern. Es war aber reiches Gras an dem Platze. So lagerten sich denn die Männer etwa fünftausend.
11 Yeshua took the loaves, and having given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to those who were sitting down, likewise also of the fish as much as they desired.
Da nahm Jesus die Brote, und dankte und verteilte sie an die Dasitzenden und ebenso von den Fischen so viel sie wollten.
12 When they were filled, he said to his disciples, “Gather up the broken pieces which are left over, that nothing be lost.”
Wie sie aber satt geworden, sagt er zu seinen Jüngern: sammelt die übrigen Brocken, daß nichts verloren gehe.
13 So they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with broken pieces from the five barley loaves, which were left over by those who had eaten.
Da sammelten sie und füllten zwölf Körbe mit Brocken von den fünf Gerstenbroten, welche die Essenden übrig gelassen hatten.
14 When therefore the people saw the sign which Yeshua did, they said, “This is truly the Prophet who comes into the world.”
Da nun die Leute die Zeichen sahen, die er that, sagten sie: Dieses ist wahrhaftig der Prophet, der in die Welt kommen soll.
15 Yeshua therefore, perceiving that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king, withdrew again to the mountain by himself.
Da nun Jesus erkannte, daß sie kommen wollten und ihn entführen, um ihn zum König zu machen, zog er sich wieder auf den Berg zurück, allein.
16 When evening came, his disciples went down to the sea.
Wie es aber Abend wurde, kamen seine Jünger herunter an den See,
17 They entered into the boat, and were going over the sea to Capernaum. It was now dark, and Yeshua had not come to them.
und bestiegen ein Schiff, und fuhren über den See nach Kapernaum. Und es war schon finster geworden, und noch war Jesus nicht zu ihnen gekommen,
18 The sea was tossed by a great wind blowing.
und der See ward von starkem Windeswehen aufgewühlt.
19 When therefore they had rowed about twenty-five or thirty stadia, they saw Yeshua walking on the sea and drawing near to the boat; and they were afraid.
Da sie nun fünfundzwanzig oder dreißig Stadien weit gefahren waren, schauten sie, wie Jesus auf dem See wandelte und nahe zum Schiffe herankam, und fürchteten sich.
20 But he said to them, “It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
Er aber sagt zu ihnen: ich bin es, fürchtet euch nicht.
21 They were willing therefore to receive him into the boat. Immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.
Da verlangten sie ihn ins Schiff zu nehmen, und alsbald war das Schiff am Land, da wo sie hinfuhren.
22 On the next day, the multitude that stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, except the one in which his disciples had embarked, and that Yeshua hadn’t entered with his disciples into the boat, but his disciples had gone away alone.
Tags darauf erwog die Menge, welche jenseits am See stand, daß kein weiteres Schiff da gewesen außer eines, und daß Jesus nicht mit seinen Jüngern in das Schiff gestiegen war, sondern seine Jünger allein abgefahren waren.
23 However, boats from Tiberias came near to the place where they ate the bread after the Lord had given thanks.
Indessen kamen Schiffe von Tiberias in die Nähe des Ortes, wo sie das Brot gegessen hatten, nachdem der Herr dankgesagt.
24 When the multitude therefore saw that Yeshua wasn’t there, nor his disciples, they themselves got into the boats and came to Capernaum, seeking Yeshua.
Und da nun die Menge wahrnahm, daß Jesus ebenso wenig da sei als seine Jünger, bestiegen sie die Schiffe, und fuhren nach Kapernaum, Jesus zu suchen.
25 When they found him on the other side of the sea, they asked him, “Rabbi, when did you come here?”
Und als sie ihn über dem See drüben fanden, sagten sie zu ihm: Rabbi, wann bist du hieher gekommen?
26 Yeshua answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, you seek me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled.
Antwortete ihnen Jesus und sprach: Wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage euch, ihr suchet mich nicht weil ihr Zeichen gesehen habt, sondern weil ihr von den Broten gegessen habt und satt geworden seid.
27 Don’t work for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him.” (aiōnios g166)
Schaffet nicht die Speise die vergehet, sondern die Speise die zu ewigem Leben bleibt, welche der Sohn des Menschen euch geben wird; denn diesen hat der Vater, Gott, versiegelt. (aiōnios g166)
28 They said therefore to him, “What must we do, that we may work the works of God?”
Da sagten sie zu ihm: was sollen wir thun, daß wir die Werke Gottes schaffen?
29 Yeshua answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
Antwortete Jesus und sagte zu ihnen: das ist das Werk Gottes, daß ihr glaubet an den, den er gesandt hat.
30 They said therefore to him, “What then do you do for a sign, that we may see and believe you? What work do you do?
Da sagten sie zu ihm: was thust du denn für ein Zeichen, daß wir es sehen und glauben dir? was schaffst du?
31 Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness. As it is written, ‘He gave them bread out of heaven to eat.’”
Unsere Väter haben das Manna in der Wüste gegessen, so wie geschrieben steht: Brot vom Himmel gab er ihnen zu essen.
32 Yeshua therefore said to them, “Most certainly, I tell you, it wasn’t Moses who gave you the bread out of heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread out of heaven.
Da sagte Jesus zu ihnen: wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage euch, nicht Moses hat euch das Brot vom Himmel gegeben, sondern mein Vater gibt euch das wahrhaftige Brot vom Himmel.
33 For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world.”
Denn das Brot Gottes ist das, welches vom Himmel herabkommt und der Welt Leben gibt.
34 They said therefore to him, “Lord, always give us this bread.”
Da sagten sie zu ihm: Herr gib uns allezeit dieses Brot.
35 Yeshua said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
Sagte Jesus zu ihnen: ich bin das Brot des Lebens; der zu mir kommt, wird nimmermehr hungern, und den, der an mich glaubt, wird nimmermehr dürsten.
36 But I told you that you have seen me, and yet you don’t believe.
Aber ich habe es euch gesagt, daß ihr gesehen habt und glaubet nicht.
37 All those whom the Father gives me will come to me. He who comes to me I will in no way throw out.
Alles, was mir der Vater gibt, wird zu mir kommen, und nimmermehr werde ich den verstoßen, der zu mir kommt.
38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.
Denn ich bin vom Himmel herabgekommen, nicht um meinen Willen zu thun, sondern den Willen dessen, der mich gesandt hat.
39 This is the will of my Father who sent me, that of all he has given to me I should lose nothing, but should raise him up at the last day.
Das aber ist der Wille dessen, der mich gesandt hat, daß ich nichts verlieren solle von allem, was er mir gegeben hat, sondern es auferwecken am jüngsten Tage.
40 This is the will of the one who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” (aiōnios g166)
Denn das ist der Wille meines Vaters daß jeder, der den Sohn schaut und glaubt an ihn, ewiges Leben habe, und ich ihn auferwecke am jüngsten Tage. (aiōnios g166)
41 The Judeans therefore murmured concerning him, because he said, “I am the bread which came down out of heaven.”
Da murrten die Juden über ihn, weil er gesagt hatte: ich bin das Brot das vom Himmel herabgekommen ist,
42 They said, “Isn’t this Yeshua, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How then does he say, ‘I have come down out of heaven’?”
und sagten: ist dieser nicht Jesus der Sohn Josephs, dessen Vater und Mutter wir kennen? Wie mag er nun sagen, ich bin vom Himmel herabgekommen?
43 Therefore Yeshua answered them, “Don’t murmur amongst yourselves.
Antwortete Jesus und sagte zu ihnen: murret nicht zusammen.
44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him; and I will raise him up in the last day.
Niemand kann zu mir kommen, außer wenn ihn der Vater, der mich gesandt hat, zieht, und ich werde ihn auferwecken am jüngsten Tage.
45 It is written in the Prophets, ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who hears from the Father and has learnt, comes to me.
Es steht geschrieben in den Propheten: Und sie werden alle von Gott gelehrt sein. Jeder der bei dem Vater gehört und gelernt hat, kommt zu mir.
46 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except he who is from God. He has seen the Father.
Nicht daß den Vater jemand gesehen; der allein, der von Gott her ist, der hat den Vater gesehen.
Wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage euch: wer da glaubt, hat ewiges Leben. (aiōnios g166)
48 I am the bread of life.
Ich bin das Brot des Lebens.
49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness and they died.
Eure Väter haben in der Wüste das Manna gegessen, und sind gestorben.
50 This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, that anyone may eat of it and not die.
Dieses ist das Brot, das vom Himmel herabkommt, damit einer davon esse, und nicht sterbe.
51 I am the living bread which came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. Yes, the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.” (aiōn g165)
Ich bin das lebendige Brot, das vom Himmel herabgekommen ist. Wenn einer von diesem Brot ißt, wird er leben in Ewigkeit, und zwar ist das Brot, welches ich geben werde, mein Fleisch für das Leben der Welt. (aiōn g165)
52 The Judeans therefore contended with one another, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”
Da vereiferten sich die Juden unter einander und sagten: wie kann uns dieser sein Fleisch zu essen geben?
53 Yeshua therefore said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you don’t have life in yourselves.
Da sagte Jesus zu ihnen: wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage euch: wenn ihr nicht das Fleisch des Sohnes des Menschen esset, und sein Blut trinket, so habt ihr kein Leben in euch.
54 He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. (aiōnios g166)
Wer mein Fleisch isset und mein Blut trinket, der hat ewiges Leben, und ich werde ihn auferwecken am jüngsten Tage. (aiōnios g166)
55 For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
Denn mein Fleisch ist wahre Speise und mein Blut ist wahrer Trank.
56 He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him.
Wer mein Fleisch isset und mein Blut trinket, bleibet in mir und ich in ihm.
57 As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on me will also live because of me.
Wie mich der lebendige Vater abgesandt hat und ich lebe um des Vaters willen, so wird auch der mich isset, um meinetwillen leben.
58 This is the bread which came down out of heaven—not as our fathers ate the manna and died. He who eats this bread will live forever.” (aiōn g165)
Das ist das Brot, das vom Himmel herabgekommen ist, nicht wie bei den Vätern, die gegessen haben und sind gestorben; (aiōn g165)
59 He said these things in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.
der dieses Brot isset, wird leben in Ewigkeit. Das sprach er in der Synagoge lehrend in Kapernaum.
60 Therefore many of his disciples, when they heard this, said, “This is a hard saying! Who can listen to it?”
Viele nun von seinen Jüngern da sie es hörten, sprachen: es ist eine schwere Rede das, wer kann sie hören?
61 But Yeshua knowing in himself that his disciples murmured at this, said to them, “Does this cause you to stumble?
Da aber Jesus bei sich selbst wußte, daß seine Jünger darüber murren, sagte er zu ihnen: das gibt euch Anstoß?
62 Then what if you would see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?
Wenn ihr nun schauet den Sohn des Menschen dahin aufsteigen wo er zuvor war?
63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.
Der Geist ist es der lebendig macht, das Fleisch nützt nichts. Die Worte, die ich zu euch gesprochen, sind Geist und sind Leben.
64 But there are some of you who don’t believe.” For Yeshua knew from the beginning who they were who didn’t believe, and who it was who would betray him.
Aber es sind etliche unter euch, die nicht glauben (denn Jesus wußte von Anfang, welche es seien, die nicht glauben, und wer ihn verraten werde.)
65 He said, “For this cause I have said to you that no one can come to me, unless it is given to him by my Father.”
Und er sagte: darum habe ich zu euch gesagt, daß niemand zu mir kommen kann, es sei ihm denn verliehen vom Vater.
66 At this, many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him.
Von da an nun traten viele von seinen Jüngern zurück und wandelten nicht mehr mit ihm.
67 Yeshua said therefore to the twelve, “You don’t also want to go away, do you?”
Da sprach Jesus zu den Zwölf: ihr wolltet doch nicht auch fortgehen?
68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
Antwortete ihm Simon Petrus: Herr, zu wem sollen wir gehen? Worte ewigen Lebens hast du. (aiōnios g166)
69 We have come to believe and know that you are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
Und wir haben den Glauben gewonnen und erkannt, daß du bist der Heilige Gottes.
70 Yeshua answered them, “Didn’t I choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?”
Antwortete ihnen Jesus: habe ich nicht euch Zwölfe ausgewählt? und einer von euch ist ein Teufel.
71 Now he spoke of Judah, the son of Simon Iscariot, for it was he who would betray him, being one of the twelve.
Er sprach aber von Judas, dem Sohne Simons des Iskarioten; denn dieser sollte ihn verraten, und war doch einer von den Zwölf.
