Yochanan 12
1 Then, six days before the Passover, Yeshua came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, who had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.
ನಿಸ್ತಾರೋತ್ಸವಾತ್ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವಂ ದಿನಷಟ್ಕೇ ಸ್ಥಿತೇ ಯೀಶು ರ್ಯಂ ಪ್ರಮೀತಮ್ ಇಲಿಯಾಸರಂ ಶ್ಮಶಾನಾದ್ ಉದಸ್ಥಾಪರತ್ ತಸ್ಯ ನಿವಾಸಸ್ಥಾನಂ ಬೈಥನಿಯಾಗ್ರಾಮಮ್ ಆಗಚ್ಛತ್|
2 So they made him a supper there. Martha served, but Lazarus was one of those who sat at the table with him.
ತತ್ರ ತದರ್ಥಂ ರಜನ್ಯಾಂ ಭೋಜ್ಯೇ ಕೃತೇ ಮರ್ಥಾ ಪರ್ಯ್ಯವೇಷಯದ್ ಇಲಿಯಾಸರ್ ಚ ತಸ್ಯ ಸಙ್ಗಿಭಿಃ ಸಾರ್ದ್ಧಂ ಭೋಜನಾಸನ ಉಪಾವಿಶತ್|
3 Therefore Miriam took a pound of ointment of pure nard, very precious, and anointed Yeshua’s feet and wiped his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the ointment.
ತದಾ ಮರಿಯಮ್ ಅರ್ದ್ಧಸೇಟಕಂ ಬಹುಮೂಲ್ಯಂ ಜಟಾಮಾಂಸೀಯಂ ತೈಲಮ್ ಆನೀಯ ಯೀಶೋಶ್ಚರಣಯೋ ರ್ಮರ್ದ್ದಯಿತ್ವಾ ನಿಜಕೇಶ ರ್ಮಾರ್ಷ್ಟುಮ್ ಆರಭತ; ತದಾ ತೈಲಸ್ಯ ಪರಿಮಲೇನ ಗೃಹಮ್ ಆಮೋದಿತಮ್ ಅಭವತ್|
4 Then Judah Iscariot, Simon’s son, one of his disciples, who would betray him, said,
ಯಃ ಶಿಮೋನಃ ಪುತ್ರ ರಿಷ್ಕರಿಯೋತೀಯೋ ಯಿಹೂದಾನಾಮಾ ಯೀಶುಂ ಪರಕರೇಷು ಸಮರ್ಪಯಿಷ್ಯತಿ ಸ ಶಿಷ್ಯಸ್ತದಾ ಕಥಿತವಾನ್,
5 “Why wasn’t this ointment sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?”
ಏತತ್ತೈಲಂ ತ್ರಿಭಿಃ ಶತೈ ರ್ಮುದ್ರಾಪದೈ ರ್ವಿಕ್ರೀತಂ ಸದ್ ದರಿದ್ರೇಭ್ಯಃ ಕುತೋ ನಾದೀಯತ?
6 Now he said this, not because he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and having the money box, used to steal what was put into it.
ಸ ದರಿದ್ರಲೋಕಾರ್ಥಮ್ ಅಚಿನ್ತಯದ್ ಇತಿ ನ, ಕಿನ್ತು ಸ ಚೌರ ಏವಂ ತನ್ನಿಕಟೇ ಮುದ್ರಾಸಮ್ಪುಟಕಸ್ಥಿತ್ಯಾ ತನ್ಮಧ್ಯೇ ಯದತಿಷ್ಠತ್ ತದಪಾಹರತ್ ತಸ್ಮಾತ್ ಕಾರಣಾದ್ ಇಮಾಂ ಕಥಾಮಕಥಯತ್|
7 But Yeshua said, “Leave her alone. She has kept this for the day of my burial.
ತದಾ ಯೀಶುರಕಥಯದ್ ಏನಾಂ ಮಾ ವಾರಯ ಸಾ ಮಮ ಶ್ಮಶಾನಸ್ಥಾಪನದಿನಾರ್ಥಂ ತದರಕ್ಷಯತ್|
8 For you always have the poor with you, but you don’t always have me.”
ದರಿದ್ರಾ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಸನ್ನಿಧೌ ಸರ್ವ್ವದಾ ತಿಷ್ಠನ್ತಿ ಕಿನ್ತ್ವಹಂ ಸರ್ವ್ವದಾ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಸನ್ನಿಧೌ ನ ತಿಷ್ಠಾಮಿ|
9 A large crowd therefore of the Judeans learnt that he was there; and they came, not for Yeshua’s sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.
ತತಃ ಪರಂ ಯೀಶುಸ್ತತ್ರಾಸ್ತೀತಿ ವಾರ್ತ್ತಾಂ ಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ ಬಹವೋ ಯಿಹೂದೀಯಾಸ್ತಂ ಶ್ಮಶಾನಾದುತ್ಥಾಪಿತಮ್ ಇಲಿಯಾಸರಞ್ಚ ದ್ರಷ್ಟುಂ ತತ್ ಸ್ಥಾನಮ್ ಆಗಚ್ಛನ|
10 But the chief priests conspired to put Lazarus to death also,
ತದಾ ಪ್ರಧಾನಯಾಜಕಾಸ್ತಮ್ ಇಲಿಯಾಸರಮಪಿ ಸಂಹರ್ತ್ತುಮ್ ಅಮನ್ತ್ರಯನ್;
11 because on account of him many of the Judeans went away and believed in Yeshua.
ಯತಸ್ತೇನ ಬಹವೋ ಯಿಹೂದೀಯಾ ಗತ್ವಾ ಯೀಶೌ ವ್ಯಶ್ವಸನ್|
12 On the next day a great multitude had come to the feast. When they heard that Yeshua was coming to Jerusalem,
ಅನನ್ತರಂ ಯೀಶು ರ್ಯಿರೂಶಾಲಮ್ ನಗರಮ್ ಆಗಚ್ಛತೀತಿ ವಾರ್ತ್ತಾಂ ಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ ಪರೇಽಹನಿ ಉತ್ಸವಾಗತಾ ಬಹವೋ ಲೋಕಾಃ
13 they took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet him, and cried out, “Hoshia'na! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel!”
ಖರ್ಜ್ಜೂರಪತ್ರಾದ್ಯಾನೀಯ ತಂ ಸಾಕ್ಷಾತ್ ಕರ್ತ್ತುಂ ಬಹಿರಾಗತ್ಯ ಜಯ ಜಯೇತಿ ವಾಚಂ ಪ್ರೋಚ್ಚೈ ರ್ವಕ್ತುಮ್ ಆರಭನ್ತ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೋ ಯೋ ರಾಜಾ ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರಸ್ಯ ನಾಮ್ನಾಗಚ್ಛತಿ ಸ ಧನ್ಯಃ|
14 Yeshua, having found a young donkey, sat on it. As it is written,
ತದಾ "ಹೇ ಸಿಯೋನಃ ಕನ್ಯೇ ಮಾ ಭೈಷೀಃ ಪಶ್ಯಾಯಂ ತವ ರಾಜಾ ಗರ್ದ್ದಭಶಾವಕಮ್ ಆರುಹ್ಯಾಗಚ್ಛತಿ"
15 “Don’t be afraid, daughter of Zion. Behold, your King comes, sitting on a donkey’s colt.”
ಇತಿ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಯವಚನಾನುಸಾರೇಣ ಯೀಶುರೇಕಂ ಯುವಗರ್ದ್ದಭಂ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ಯ ತದುಪರ್ಯ್ಯಾರೋಹತ್|
16 His disciples didn’t understand these things at first, but when Yeshua was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written about him, and that they had done these things to him.
ಅಸ್ಯಾಃ ಘಟನಾಯಾಸ್ತಾತ್ಪರ್ಯ್ಯಂ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾಃ ಪ್ರಥಮಂ ನಾಬುಧ್ಯನ್ತ, ಕಿನ್ತು ಯೀಶೌ ಮಹಿಮಾನಂ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತೇ ಸತಿ ವಾಕ್ಯಮಿದಂ ತಸ್ಮಿನ ಅಕಥ್ಯತ ಲೋಕಾಶ್ಚ ತಮ್ಪ್ರತೀತ್ಥಮ್ ಅಕುರ್ವ್ವನ್ ಇತಿ ತೇ ಸ್ಮೃತವನ್ತಃ|
17 The multitude therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead was testifying about it.
ಸ ಇಲಿಯಾಸರಂ ಶ್ಮಶಾನಾದ್ ಆಗನ್ತುಮ್ ಆಹ್ವತವಾನ್ ಶ್ಮಶಾನಾಞ್ಚ ಉದಸ್ಥಾಪಯದ್ ಯೇ ಯೇ ಲೋಕಾಸ್ತತ್ಕರ್ಮ್ಯ ಸಾಕ್ಷಾದ್ ಅಪಶ್ಯನ್ ತೇ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಂ ದಾತುಮ್ ಆರಭನ್ತ|
18 For this cause also the multitude went and met him, because they heard that he had done this sign.
ಸ ಏತಾದೃಶಮ್ ಅದ್ಭುತಂ ಕರ್ಮ್ಮಕರೋತ್ ತಸ್ಯ ಜನಶ್ರುತೇ ರ್ಲೋಕಾಸ್ತಂ ಸಾಕ್ಷಾತ್ ಕರ್ತ್ತುಮ್ ಆಗಚ್ಛನ್|
19 The Pharisees therefore said amongst themselves, “See how you accomplish nothing. Behold, the world has gone after him.”
ತತಃ ಫಿರೂಶಿನಃ ಪರಸ್ಪರಂ ವಕ್ತುಮ್ ಆರಭನ್ತ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಸರ್ವ್ವಾಶ್ಚೇಷ್ಟಾ ವೃಥಾ ಜಾತಾಃ, ಇತಿ ಕಿಂ ಯೂಯಂ ನ ಬುಧ್ಯಧ್ವೇ? ಪಶ್ಯತ ಸರ್ವ್ವೇ ಲೋಕಾಸ್ತಸ್ಯ ಪಶ್ಚಾದ್ವರ್ತ್ತಿನೋಭವನ್|
20 Now there were certain Greeks amongst those who went up to worship at the feast.
ಭಜನಂ ಕರ್ತ್ತುಮ್ ಉತ್ಸವಾಗತಾನಾಂ ಲೋಕಾನಾಂ ಕತಿಪಯಾ ಜನಾ ಅನ್ಯದೇಶೀಯಾ ಆಸನ್,
21 Therefore, these came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, “Sir, we want to see Yeshua.”
ತೇ ಗಾಲೀಲೀಯಬೈತ್ಸೈದಾನಿವಾಸಿನಃ ಫಿಲಿಪಸ್ಯ ಸಮೀಪಮ್ ಆಗತ್ಯ ವ್ಯಾಹರನ್ ಹೇ ಮಹೇಚ್ಛ ವಯಂ ಯೀಶುಂ ದ್ರಷ್ಟುಮ್ ಇಚ್ಛಾಮಃ|
22 Philip came and told Andrew, and in turn, Andrew came with Philip, and they told Yeshua.
ತತಃ ಫಿಲಿಪೋ ಗತ್ವಾ ಆನ್ದ್ರಿಯಮ್ ಅವದತ್ ಪಶ್ಚಾದ್ ಆನ್ದ್ರಿಯಫಿಲಿಪೌ ಯೀಶವೇ ವಾರ್ತ್ತಾಮ್ ಅಕಥಯತಾಂ|
23 Yeshua answered them, “The time has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
ತದಾ ಯೀಶುಃ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುದಿತವಾನ್ ಮಾನವಸುತಸ್ಯ ಮಹಿಮಪ್ರಾಪ್ತಿಸಮಯ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಃ|
24 Most certainly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains by itself alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit.
ಅಹಂ ಯುಷ್ಮಾನತಿಯಥಾರ್ಥಂ ವದಾಮಿ, ಧಾನ್ಯಬೀಜಂ ಮೃತ್ತಿಕಾಯಾಂ ಪತಿತ್ವಾ ಯದಿ ನ ಮೃಯತೇ ತರ್ಹ್ಯೇಕಾಕೀ ತಿಷ್ಠತಿ ಕಿನ್ತು ಯದಿ ಮೃಯತೇ ತರ್ಹಿ ಬಹುಗುಣಂ ಫಲಂ ಫಲತಿ|
25 He who loves his life will lose it. He who hates his life in this world will keep it to eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
ಯೋ ಜನೇ ನಿಜಪ್ರಾಣಾನ್ ಪ್ರಿಯಾನ್ ಜಾನಾತಿ ಸ ತಾನ್ ಹಾರಯಿಷ್ಯತಿ ಕಿನ್ತು ಯೇ ಜನ ಇಹಲೋಕೇ ನಿಜಪ್ರಾಣಾನ್ ಅಪ್ರಿಯಾನ್ ಜಾನಾತಿ ಸೇನನ್ತಾಯುಃ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತುಂ ತಾನ್ ರಕ್ಷಿಷ್ಯತಿ| (aiōnios g166)
26 If anyone serves me, let him follow me. Where I am, there my servant will also be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honour him.
ಕಶ್ಚಿದ್ ಯದಿ ಮಮ ಸೇವಕೋ ಭವಿತುಂ ವಾಞ್ಛತಿ ತರ್ಹಿ ಸ ಮಮ ಪಶ್ಚಾದ್ಗಾಮೀ ಭವತು, ತಸ್ಮಾದ್ ಅಹಂ ಯತ್ರ ತಿಷ್ಠಾಮಿ ಮಮ ಸೇವಕೇಪಿ ತತ್ರ ಸ್ಥಾಸ್ಯತಿ; ಯೋ ಜನೋ ಮಾಂ ಸೇವತೇ ಮಮ ಪಿತಾಪಿ ತಂ ಸಮ್ಮಂಸ್ಯತೇ|
27 “Now my soul is troubled. What shall I say? ‘Father, save me from this time’? But I came to this time for this cause.
ಸಾಮ್ಪ್ರತಂ ಮಮ ಪ್ರಾಣಾ ವ್ಯಾಕುಲಾ ಭವನ್ತಿ, ತಸ್ಮಾದ್ ಹೇ ಪಿತರ ಏತಸ್ಮಾತ್ ಸಮಯಾನ್ ಮಾಂ ರಕ್ಷ, ಇತ್ಯಹಂ ಕಿಂ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಯಿಷ್ಯೇ? ಕಿನ್ತ್ವಹಮ್ ಏತತ್ಸಮಯಾರ್ಥಮ್ ಅವತೀರ್ಣವಾನ್|
28 Father, glorify your name!” Then a voice came out of the sky, saying, “I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.”
ಹೇ ಪಿತ: ಸ್ವನಾಮ್ನೋ ಮಹಿಮಾನಂ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಯ; ತನೈವ ಸ್ವನಾಮ್ನೋ ಮಹಿಮಾನಮ್ ಅಹಂ ಪ್ರಾಕಾಶಯಂ ಪುನರಪಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಯಿಷ್ಯಾಮಿ, ಏಷಾ ಗಗಣೀಯಾ ವಾಣೀ ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಸಮಯೇಽಜಾಯತ|
29 Therefore the multitude who stood by and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said, “An angel has spoken to him.”
ತಚ್ಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ ಸಮೀಪಸ್ಥಲೋಕಾನಾಂ ಕೇಚಿದ್ ಅವದನ್ ಮೇಘೋಽಗರ್ಜೀತ್, ಕೇಚಿದ್ ಅವದನ್ ಸ್ವರ್ಗೀಯದೂತೋಽನೇನ ಸಹ ಕಥಾಮಚಕಥತ್|
30 Yeshua answered, “This voice hasn’t come for my sake, but for your sakes.
ತದಾ ಯೀಶುಃ ಪ್ರತ್ಯವಾದೀತ್, ಮದರ್ಥಂ ಶಬ್ದೋಯಂ ನಾಭೂತ್ ಯುಷ್ಮದರ್ಥಮೇವಾಭೂತ್|
31 Now is the judgement of this world. Now the prince of this world will be cast out.
ಅಧುನಾ ಜಗತೋಸ್ಯ ವಿಚಾರ: ಸಮ್ಪತ್ಸ್ಯತೇ, ಅಧುನಾಸ್ಯ ಜಗತ: ಪತೀ ರಾಜ್ಯಾತ್ ಚ್ಯೋಷ್ಯತಿ|
32 And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.”
ಯದ್ಯಈ ಪೃಥಿವ್ಯಾ ಊರ್ದ್ವ್ವೇ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಥಾಪಿತೋಸ್ಮಿ ತರ್ಹಿ ಸರ್ವ್ವಾನ್ ಮಾನವಾನ್ ಸ್ವಸಮೀಪಮ್ ಆಕರ್ಷಿಷ್ಯಾಮಿ|
33 But he said this, signifying by what kind of death he should die.
ಕಥಂ ತಸ್ಯ ಮೃತಿ ರ್ಭವಿಷ್ಯತಿ, ಏತದ್ ಬೋಧಯಿತುಂ ಸ ಇಮಾಂ ಕಥಾಮ್ ಅಕಥಯತ್|
34 The multitude answered him, “We have heard out of the law that the Messiah remains forever. How do you say, ‘The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?” (aiōn g165)
ತದಾ ಲೋಕಾ ಅಕಥಯನ್ ಸೋಭಿಷಿಕ್ತಃ ಸರ್ವ್ವದಾ ತಿಷ್ಠತೀತಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಗ್ರನ್ಥೇ ಶ್ರುತಮ್ ಅಸ್ಮಾಭಿಃ, ತರ್ಹಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರಃ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಥಾಪಿತೋ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತೀತಿ ವಾಕ್ಯಂ ಕಥಂ ವದಸಿ? ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರೋಯಂ ಕಃ? (aiōn g165)
35 Yeshua therefore said to them, “Yet a little while the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, that darkness doesn’t overtake you. He who walks in the darkness doesn’t know where he is going.
ತದಾ ಯೀಶುರಕಥಾಯದ್ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಭಿಃ ಸಾರ್ದ್ಧಮ್ ಅಲ್ಪದಿನಾನಿ ಜ್ಯೋತಿರಾಸ್ತೇ, ಯಥಾ ಯುಷ್ಮಾನ್ ಅನ್ಧಕಾರೋ ನಾಚ್ಛಾದಯತಿ ತದರ್ಥಂ ಯಾವತ್ಕಾಲಂ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಭಿಃ ಸಾರ್ದ್ಧಂ ಜ್ಯೋತಿಸ್ತಿಷ್ಠತಿ ತಾವತ್ಕಾಲಂ ಗಚ್ಛತ; ಯೋ ಜನೋಽನ್ಧಕಾರೇ ಗಚ್ಛತಿ ಸ ಕುತ್ರ ಯಾತೀತಿ ನ ಜಾನಾತಿ|
36 While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become children of light.” Yeshua said these things, and he departed and hid himself from them.
ಅತಏವ ಯಾವತ್ಕಾಲಂ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ನಿಕಟೇ ಜ್ಯೋತಿರಾಸ್ತೇ ತಾವತ್ಕಾಲಂ ಜ್ಯೋತೀರೂಪಸನ್ತಾನಾ ಭವಿತುಂ ಜ್ಯೋತಿಷಿ ವಿಶ್ವಸಿತ; ಇಮಾಂ ಕಥಾಂ ಕಥಯಿತ್ವಾ ಯೀಶುಃ ಪ್ರಸ್ಥಾಯ ತೇಭ್ಯಃ ಸ್ವಂ ಗುಪ್ತವಾನ್|
37 But though he had done so many signs before them, yet they didn’t believe in him,
ಯದ್ಯಪಿ ಯೀಶುಸ್ತೇಷಾಂ ಸಮಕ್ಷಮ್ ಏತಾವದಾಶ್ಚರ್ಯ್ಯಕರ್ಮ್ಮಾಣಿ ಕೃತವಾನ್ ತಥಾಪಿ ತೇ ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ನ ವ್ಯಶ್ವಸನ್|
38 that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke: “Lord, who has believed our report? To whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”
ಅತಏವ ಕಃ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇತಿ ಸುಸಂವಾದಂ ಪರೇಶಾಸ್ಮತ್ ಪ್ರಚಾರಿತಂ? ಪ್ರಕಾಶತೇ ಪರೇಶಸ್ಯ ಹಸ್ತಃ ಕಸ್ಯ ಚ ಸನ್ನಿಧೌ? ಯಿಶಯಿಯಭವಿಷ್ಯದ್ವಾದಿನಾ ಯದೇತದ್ ವಾಕ್ಯಮುಕ್ತಂ ತತ್ ಸಫಲಮ್ ಅಭವತ್|
39 For this cause they couldn’t believe, for Isaiah said again:
ತೇ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇತುಂ ನಾಶನ್ಕುವನ್ ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಯಿಶಯಿಯಭವಿಷ್ಯದ್ವಾದಿ ಪುನರವಾದೀದ್,
40 “He has blinded their eyes and he hardened their heart, lest they should see with their eyes, and perceive with their heart, and would turn, and I would heal them.”
ಯದಾ, "ತೇ ನಯನೈ ರ್ನ ಪಶ್ಯನ್ತಿ ಬುದ್ಧಿಭಿಶ್ಚ ನ ಬುಧ್ಯನ್ತೇ ತೈ ರ್ಮನಃಸು ಪರಿವರ್ತ್ತಿತೇಷು ಚ ತಾನಹಂ ಯಥಾ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಾನ್ ನ ಕರೋಮಿ ತಥಾ ಸ ತೇಷಾಂ ಲೋಚನಾನ್ಯನ್ಧಾನಿ ಕೃತ್ವಾ ತೇಷಾಮನ್ತಃಕರಣಾನಿ ಗಾಢಾನಿ ಕರಿಷ್ಯತಿ| "
41 Isaiah said these things when he saw his glory, and spoke of him.
ಯಿಶಯಿಯೋ ಯದಾ ಯೀಶೋ ರ್ಮಹಿಮಾನಂ ವಿಲೋಕ್ಯ ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಕಥಾಮಕಥಯತ್ ತದಾ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ್ವಾಕ್ಯಮ್ ಈದೃಶಂ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಯತ್|
42 Nevertheless, even many of the rulers believed in him, but because of the Pharisees they didn’t confess it, so that they wouldn’t be put out of the synagogue,
ತಥಾಪ್ಯಧಿಪತಿನಾಂ ಬಹವಸ್ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಾಯನ್| ಕಿನ್ತು ಫಿರೂಶಿನಸ್ತಾನ್ ಭಜನಗೃಹಾದ್ ದೂರೀಕುರ್ವ್ವನ್ತೀತಿ ಭಯಾತ್ ತೇ ತಂ ನ ಸ್ವೀಕೃತವನ್ತಃ|
43 for they loved men’s praise more than God’s praise.
ಯತ ಈಶ್ವರಸ್ಯ ಪ್ರಶಂಸಾತೋ ಮಾನವಾನಾಂ ಪ್ರಶಂಸಾಯಾಂ ತೇಽಪ್ರಿಯನ್ತ|
44 Yeshua cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me, believes not in me, but in him who sent me.
ತದಾ ಯೀಶುರುಚ್ಚೈಃಕಾರಮ್ ಅಕಥಯದ್ ಯೋ ಜನೋ ಮಯಿ ವಿಶ್ವಸಿತಿ ಸ ಕೇವಲೇ ಮಯಿ ವಿಶ್ವಸಿತೀತಿ ನ, ಸ ಮತ್ಪ್ರೇರಕೇಽಪಿ ವಿಶ್ವಸಿತಿ|
45 He who sees me sees him who sent me.
ಯೋ ಜನೋ ಮಾಂ ಪಶ್ಯತಿ ಸ ಮತ್ಪ್ರೇರಕಮಪಿ ಪಶ್ಯತಿ|
46 I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in me may not remain in the darkness.
ಯೋ ಜನೋ ಮಾಂ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇತಿ ಸ ಯಥಾನ್ಧಕಾರೇ ನ ತಿಷ್ಠತಿ ತದರ್ಥಮ್ ಅಹಂ ಜ್ಯೋತಿಃಸ್ವರೂಪೋ ಭೂತ್ವಾ ಜಗತ್ಯಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಅವತೀರ್ಣವಾನ್|
47 If anyone listens to my sayings and doesn’t believe, I don’t judge him. For I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
ಮಮ ಕಥಾಂ ಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ ಯದಿ ಕಶ್ಚಿನ್ ನ ವಿಶ್ವಸಿತಿ ತರ್ಹಿ ತಮಹಂ ದೋಷಿಣಂ ನ ಕರೋಮಿ, ಯತೋ ಹೇತೋ ರ್ಜಗತೋ ಜನಾನಾಂ ದೋಷಾನ್ ನಿಶ್ಚಿತಾನ್ ಕರ್ತ್ತುಂ ನಾಗತ್ಯ ತಾನ್ ಪರಿಚಾತುಮ್ ಆಗತೋಸ್ಮಿ|
48 He who rejects me, and doesn’t receive my sayings, has one who judges him. The word that I spoke will judge him in the last day.
ಯಃ ಕಶ್ಚಿನ್ ಮಾಂ ನ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾಯ ಮಮ ಕಥಂ ನ ಗೃಹ್ಲಾತಿ, ಅನ್ಯಸ್ತಂ ದೋಷಿಣಂ ಕರಿಷ್ಯತಿ ವಸ್ತುತಸ್ತು ಯಾಂ ಕಥಾಮಹಮ್ ಅಚಕಥಂ ಸಾ ಕಥಾ ಚರಮೇಽನ್ಹಿ ತಂ ದೋಷಿಣಂ ಕರಿಷ್ಯತಿ|
49 For I spoke not from myself, but the Father who sent me gave me a commandment, what I should say and what I should speak.
ಯತೋ ಹೇತೋರಹಂ ಸ್ವತಃ ಕಿಮಪಿ ನ ಕಥಯಾಮಿ, ಕಿಂ ಕಿಂ ಮಯಾ ಕಥಯಿತವ್ಯಂ ಕಿಂ ಸಮುಪದೇಷ್ಟವ್ಯಞ್ಚ ಇತಿ ಮತ್ಪ್ರೇರಯಿತಾ ಪಿತಾ ಮಾಮಾಜ್ಞಾಪಯತ್|
