< Isaiah 63 >

1 Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? Who is this who is glorious in his clothing, marching in the greatness of his strength? “It is I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”
Kahni kamling hoi kahoih parai khukbuen to angkhuk moe, lensawkhaih hoi hmabang ah kacaeh, Edom prae Bozrah hoiah angzo kami loe mi aa? To kami loe toenghaih lok kathui, pahlong han thacakhaih katawn, Kai hae boeh ni.
2 Why is your clothing red, and your garments like him who treads in the wine vat?
Tipongah nang ih kahni loe thim moe, misurthaih pasaw kaminawk ih kahni baktiah oh loe?
3 “I have trodden the wine press alone. Of the peoples, no one was with me. Yes, I trod them in my anger and trampled them in my wrath. Their lifeblood is sprinkled on my garments, and I have stained all my clothing.
Kaimabueng ni misurthaih ka pasawh; mi doeh kai khaeah om ai; palungphuihaih hoiah nihcae to ka tit moe, palungphui hoiah nihcae to ka cawh; nihcae ih athii mah kai ih kahni tacawn thuih pongah, kai ih kahni loe thim boih boeh.
4 For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed has come.
Lu lakhaih ni ka poek li naah, kai akranghaih saning to phak.
5 I looked, and there was no one to help; and I wondered that there was no one to uphold. Therefore my own arm brought salvation to me. My own wrath upheld me.
Ka khet naah, kai bomkung mi doeh ka hnu ai; kai patawnkung mi doeh om ai pongah, palung ka boeng sut; to pongah kaimah ban mah kaimah hanah pahlonghaih to sak boeh; palung ka phuihaih mah kai ang patawnh.
6 I trod down the peoples in my anger and made them drunk in my wrath. I poured their lifeblood out on the earth.”
Palungphuihaih hoiah kaminawk to ka tit boeh, palung ka phuihaih hoiah nihcae to mu ka paquisak moe, nihcae ih athii to long ah ka kraih boeh.
7 I will tell of the loving kindnesses of the LORD and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD has given to us, and the great goodness towards the house of Israel, which he has given to them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.
Angraeng mah aicae nuiah sak ih hmuennawk, a tahmenhaih hoi kathuk parai amlunghaih, Israel imthung takoh nuiah sak ih kalen parai kahoih hmuen pongah, Angraeng amlunghaih hoi tahmenhaih to ka thuih han.
8 For he said, “Surely, they are my people, children who will not deal falsely;” so he became their Saviour.
Nihcae loe kai ih kami tangtang ni, lok amlai ai kami ih caa ah oh o; to pongah anih loe nihcae pahlongkung ah oh.
9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them. In his love and in his pity he redeemed them. He bore them, and carried them all the days of old.
Nihcae patangkhang o naah, anih doeh patangkhang toeng, a hmaa ah kaom van kaminawk mah nihcae to pahlong moe, a palunghaih hoi tahmenhaih mah nihcae to akrang; canghnii hoi boeh ni nihcae to khetzawn moe, a zaehhoih.
10 But they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit. Therefore he turned and became their enemy, and he himself fought against them.
Toe nihcae mah anih ih lok to aek o moe, anih ih Muithla to palungset o sak; to pongah nihcae to misa ah suek moe, a tuk.
11 Then he remembered the days of old, Moses and his people, saying, “Where is he who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is he who put his Holy Spirit amongst them?”
To naah angmah ih kaminawk mah canghnii ih aninawk, Mosi ih kaminawk hoi anih dung nathuem ih atuenawk to poek o vawk moe, tuipui thung hoiah angmah ih kaminawk zaehoikung, angmah ih tuu toepkung loe naa ah maw oh? Nihcae salakah angmah ih Kacai Muithla suemkung loe naa ah maw oh?
12 Who caused his glorious arm to be at Moses’ right hand? Who divided the waters before them, to make himself an everlasting name?
Mosi ih bantang ban thacak sakkung, anih ih ahmin cak poe thai hanah, nihcae hmaa ah tui pakhoihkung,
13 Who led them through the depths, like a horse in the wilderness, so that they didn’t stumble?
nihcae amthaek han ai ah praezaek ah hrang angthueng baktih toengah, kathuk tuipui thung hoiah nihcae zaehoikung loe naa ah maw oh? tiah thuih o.
14 As the livestock that go down into the valley, the LORD’s Spirit caused them to rest. So you led your people to make yourself a glorious name.
Azawn ah caeh tathuk moi baktih toengah, Angraeng ih Muithla mah nihcae to anghakhaih paek; na hmin lensawksak poe hanah, nangmah ih kaminawk to hae tiah na zaehhoih.
15 Look down from heaven, and see from the habitation of your holiness and of your glory. Where are your zeal and your mighty acts? The yearning of your heart and your compassion is restrained towards me.
16 For you are our Father, though Abraham doesn’t know us, and Israel does not acknowledge us. You, LORD, are our Father. Our Redeemer from everlasting is your name.
Abraham mah kaicae hae panoek ai moe, Israel mah na maat ai langlacadoeh, nang loe kaicae ih Ampa ah na oh; Aw Angraeng, nang loe kaicae Ampa, canghnii hoiah kaom poe, kaicae Krangkung ah na oh.
17 O LORD, why do you make us wander from your ways, and harden our heart from your fear? Return for your servants’ sake, the tribes of your inheritance.
18 Your holy people possessed it but a little while. Our adversaries have trodden down your sanctuary.
Nangmah ih kaminawk mah na hmuenciim to nawnetta thungah toep o; vaihi loe ka misanawk mah na hmuenciim to atit o boeh.
19 We have become like those over whom you never ruled, like those who were not called by your name.
Kaicae loe canghnii hoi boeh ni nang ih qawk ah ka oh o; toe na uk vai ai ih kami baktiah nang ohsak; nihcae to na hmin hoi kawk ai ih kami baktiah na ohsak.
