< Isaiah 6 >

1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up; and his train filled the temple.
Uzziah siangpahrang duekhaih saning ah, kasang parai, angraeng tangkhang nuiah anghnu, Angraeng to ka hnuk; tempul loe anih ih kahni hoiah koi.
2 Above him stood the seraphim. Each one had six wings. With two he covered his face. With two he covered his feet. With two he flew.
Pakhraeh tarukto kaom, Seraphimnawk loe anih nuiah angdoet o; pakhraeh hnetto hoiah anih ih mikhmai to khuk pae o, pakhraeh hnetto hoiah a khok to khuk pae o moe, pakhraeh hnetto hoiah azawk o.
3 One called to another, and said, “Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of Hosts! The whole earth is full of his glory!”
Nihcae mah, misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng loe, Ciimcai, ciimcai, ciimcai; long loe a lensawkhaih hoiah koi boih, tiah maeto hoi maeto khaeah hang o.
4 The foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke.
To tiah hanghaih lok pongah, thok tungnawk to anghuen o, tempul loe hmaikhue hoiah koi.
5 Then I said, “Woe is me! For I am undone, because I am a man of unclean lips and I live amongst a people of unclean lips, for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of Hosts!”
To naah kaimah, Kai loe khosak bing! Kai loe kaciim ai pakha tawn kami ah ka oh, pakha ciim ai kaminawk salakah ka oh pongah, kam ro boeh! Misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng, Siangpahrang to ka mik mah hnuk boeh, tiah ka hangh:
6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar.
to naah Seraphim maeto mah, taitaeh hoiah ataep moe, hmaicam nui hoiah lak ih hmai kamngaeh to a ban ah sinh moe, kai khaeah azawk.
7 He touched my mouth with it, and said, “Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin forgiven.”
Kai ih pakha nuiah hmai kamngaeh to koeng moe, kai khaeah, khenah, hae hmai kamngaeh mah nang ih pakha to sui boeh pongah, na sakpazaehaih to lak ving boeh, na zaehaih doeh pasaeh boeh, tiah ang naa.
8 I heard the Lord’s voice, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am. Send me!”
To naah, Mi maw ka patoeh han? Kaicae hanah mi maw caeh tih? tiah Angraeng mah thuih ih lok to ka thaih; to naah kaimah, Hae ah ka oh, na patoeh ah, tiah ka naa.
9 He said, “Go, and tell this people, ‘You hear indeed, but don’t understand. You see indeed, but don’t perceive.’
Anih mah, Caeh ah loe hae kaminawk khaeah, Na thaih o boeh e, na panoek o thai ai; na hnuk o boeh e, na thaih o kop ai, tiah thui paeh, tiah ang naa.
10 Make the heart of this people fat. Make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and turn again, and be healed.”
Hae kaminawk ih palung to amtaksak ah, naa to pangsak ah loe, mik to maengsak ah; to tih ai nahaeloe nihcae mah mik hoiah hnu o tih; naa hoiah thaih o ueloe, palung hoiah panoek o moeng tih; nihcae dawnpakhuem o naah, kaimah nihcae to ngan ka tui o sak moeng tih, tiah ang naa.
11 Then I said, “Lord, how long?” He answered, “Until cities are waste without inhabitant, houses without man, the land becomes utterly waste,
To naah kaimah, Aw Angraeng nasetto maw akra vop tih? tiah ka naa. Anih mah, Vangpui ah kami om ai, im ah doeh kami om ai, kami om ai pongah prae to pong sut,
12 and the LORD has removed men far away, and the forsaken places are many within the land.
Angraeng mah kaminawk to ahmuen kangthla ah haek boeh pongah, prae pong sut ai karoek to akra tih.
13 If there is a tenth left in it, that also will in turn be consumed, as a terebinth, and as an oak whose stump remains when they are cut down, so the holy seed is its stump.”
Toe prae thung ih kami hato thungah maeto anghmat aep to mah, amro boih let tih; toe hmaica thing hoi oak thing loe aqam angmuen moe, pakhruk pacoengah doeh akung loe anghmat vop baktiah, ciimcai kami ih atii loe to prae thungah kanghmat akung ah om vop tih, tiah ang pathim.
