< Galatians 1 >

1 Paul, an emissary—not from men, nor through man, but through Yeshua the Messiah, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead—
Thlanghqing a venawh kawng thlang ing am tyi nawh, Jesu Khrih ingkaw amah ce thihnaak awhkawng ak thawhkung Pa Khawsa ing a tyih kai ceityih Paul –
2 and all the brothers who are with me, to the assemblies of Galatia:
ingkaw ka venawh ak awm koeinaakhqi boeih ing, Galatia qam awhkaw thlangboel khqi venawh:
3 Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Yeshua the Messiah,
Ningmih a Pa Khawsa ingkaw Bawipa Jesu Khrih a ven awhkaw qeennaak ingkaw ngaihdingnaak nangmih a venawh awm seh,
4 who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father— (aiōn g165)
ni Pa Khawsa ak kawngaihnaak amyihna, tuh khuk awhkaw khawnghi amak leek khuiawh kawng ningnih ce hul aham amah ingkaw amah ce pe qu hy, (aiōn g165)
5 to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
amah a venawh thangleeknaak kumqui dyna awm seh. Amen! (aiōn g165)
6 I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Messiah to a different “good news”,
Khrih qeennaak ak caming nangmih anik khykung ce hlah plak unawh awithang leek ak chang benna na ming hawitaak a dawngawh kak kawpoek na kyi hy;
7 but there isn’t another “good news.” Only there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the Good News of Messiah.
cawhkaw awithang leek ce awithang leek tang amni; nangmih ce nik plamkhqi nawh Khrih ak awithang leek ce melh voek aham a mik tha lo uhy.
8 But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should proclaim to you any “good news” other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed.
Cehlai kaimih ing ka mik khy law pyi awithang leek anglakawh ak chang awithang leek ce kaimih ing aw am awhtaw khan ceityihkhqi ing aw khy law pyi bai qoe u seiawm, ce ak awithang ak khypyi ce kumqui dyna tamdeng na awm seh nyng!
9 As we have said before, so I now say again: if any man preaches to you any “good news” other than that which you received, let him be cursed.
Kak kqawn law hawh amyihna, tuh kqawn law tlaih bai vang nyng: Nangmih ing nami do ce awithang leek anglakawh ak chang awithang leek ce thlang ing ak khypyi awhtaw, anih ce kumqui dyna thlakche na awm seh nyng!
10 For am I now seeking the favour of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn’t be a servant of Messiah.
Kai ing thlang ak kawngaih nu ka sai, am awhtaw Khawsak ak kawngaih nu? Thlanghqing ak kawzeelnaak nu kai ing ka sai? Thlanghqing ak kawngaihnaak ka sai awhtaw, Khrih a tyihzawih na am awm kawng nyng.
11 But I make known to you, brothers, concerning the Good News which was preached by me, that it is not according to man.
Kai ing kak khypyi awithang leek ve thlang ing a sai mai mai amni, tice koeinaakhqi, nangmih sim sak aham ngaih nyng.
12 For I didn’t receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came to me through revelation of Yeshua the Messiah.
Ve awithang leek ve thlang a ven awhkaw ka huh am nawh, thlang ingawm amni cawngpyi hy; Jesu Khrih ak a phonaak awhkawng ni ka huh hy.
13 For you have heard of my way of living in time past in Judaism, how that beyond measure I persecuted the assembly of God and ravaged it.
Ak khqym awh Juda phung na ka awm awhkaw ka khawboe ce za hawh uhyk ti, ikawmyih dyna nu Khawsa a thlangboel the a kha na nawh cekkhqi hqe aham tha ka lawhnaak tice sim uhyk ti.
14 I advanced in Judaism beyond many of my own age amongst my countrymen, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.
Juda bawknaak benawh Juda thlangkhqi ingkaw ka mi thawn pyi khawzah anglakawh poe khqoet nyng saw ka pakhqi ak awipek awh cak nyng.
15 But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through his grace,
Cehlai ka thangthai ca awhkawng anik hoep nawh am qeennaak ing anik khykung Khawsa ing,
16 to reveal his Son in me, that I might proclaim him amongst the Gentiles, I didn’t immediately confer with flesh and blood,
Gentelkhqi venawh amah akawng kak khypyi thainaak aham kai awh a Capa ang dang sak naak awhkawng kai ing u awm am doet nyng,
17 nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were emissaries before me, but I went away into Arabia. Then I returned to Damascus.
kai hlan awh ceityih na ak awmkhqi huh aham Jerusalem na awm am cet nyng, Arab qam na cet pahoei nyng, cekcoengawh a hu na Damaska khaw na hlat tlaih nyng.
18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Peter, and stayed with him fifteen days.
Cawhkawng kum thum a di coengawh, Piter ingqawi ka ning haiben qunaak aham Jerusalem na hang cet nyng saw a venawh hqa nyn hlaihaa awm nyng.
19 But of the other emissaries I saw no one except Jacob, the Lord’s brother.
Cawh ceityih ak chang u awm am hu nyng, Bawipa a na Jakob doeng ni ka huh.
20 Now about the things which I write to you, behold, before God, I’m not lying.
Nangmih a venawh ka qee law ve ka qaai amni tice Khawsa haiawh ak cak na nik kqawn law pek khqi nyng.
21 Then I came to the regions of Syria and Cilicia.
Cekcoengawh Siria ingkaw Kilikia na cet nyng.
22 I was still unknown by face to the assemblies of Judea which were in Messiah,
Pumsa benawh taw Judah qam khui awhkaw Khrih awh a mik awm thlangboelkhqi mi am sim qu unyng.
23 but they only heard, “He who once persecuted us now preaches the faith that he once tried to destroy.”
“Maa na ningnih a nik thekhanaak thlang ce tuh awhtaw amah ing hqe aham tha a lawh sih cangnaak ceni ak khypyi hawh lawt hy,” tinawh amik kqawn awithang ce ni a ming zaak hy.
24 So they glorified God in me.
Cekkhqi ing kai ak camawh Khawsa ce kyihcah uhy.
