Ezekiel 12

1 The LORD’s word also came to me, saying,

También vino a mí la palabra de Yahvé, diciendo:

2 “Son of man, you dwell in the middle of the rebellious house, who have eyes to see, and don’t see, who have ears to hear, and don’t hear; for they are a rebellious house.

“Hijo de hombre, tú habitas en medio de la casa rebelde, que tiene ojos para ver y no ve, que tiene oídos para oír y no oye; porque es una casa rebelde.

3 “Therefore, you son of man, prepare your baggage for moving, and move by day in their sight. You shall move from your place to another place in their sight. It may be they will consider, though they are a rebellious house.

“Por lo tanto, tú, hijo de hombre, prepara tu equipaje para mudarte y muévete de día a la vista de ellos. Te trasladarás de tu lugar a otro lugar a la vista de ellos. Puede ser que lo consideren, aunque son una casa rebelde.

4 You shall bring out your baggage by day in their sight, as baggage for moving. You shall go out yourself at evening in their sight, as when men go out into exile.

Sacarás tu equipaje de día a la vista de ellos, como equipaje de mudanza. Saldrás tú mismo al atardecer a la vista de ellos, como cuando los hombres salen al destierro.

5 Dig through the wall in their sight, and carry your baggage out that way.

A la vista de ellos, cava a través del muro y saca tu equipaje por ahí.

6 In their sight you shall bear it on your shoulder, and carry it out in the dark. You shall cover your face, so that you don’t see the land, for I have set you for a sign to the house of Israel.”

A la vista de ellos lo llevarás al hombro y lo sacarás en la oscuridad. Te cubrirás el rostro para no ver la tierra, porque te he puesto como señal para la casa de Israel.”

7 I did so as I was commanded. I brought out my baggage by day, as baggage for moving, and in the evening I dug through the wall with my hand. I brought it out in the dark, and bore it on my shoulder in their sight.

Lo hice como se me ordenó. Saqué mi equipaje de día, como equipaje de mudanza, y al atardecer cavé a través del muro con la mano. Lo saqué en la oscuridad, y lo llevé al hombro a la vista de ellos.

8 In the morning, the LORD’s word came to me, saying,

Por la mañana, me llegó la palabra de Yahvé, diciendo:

9 “Son of man, hasn’t the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said to you, ‘What are you doing?’

“Hijo de hombre, ¿no te ha dicho la casa de Israel, la casa rebelde, ‘qué haces’?

10 “Say to them, ‘The Lord GOD says: “This burden concerns the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel amongst whom they are.”’

“Diles: El Señor Yahvé dice: “Esta carga concierne al príncipe en Jerusalén y a toda la casa de Israel entre los que se encuentran”.

11 “Say, ‘I am your sign. As I have done, so will it be done to them. They will go into exile, into captivity.

“Di: ‘Yo soy tu signo. Como yo he hecho, así se hará con ellos. Irán al exilio, al cautiverio.

12 “‘The prince who is amongst them will bear his baggage on his shoulder in the dark, and will go out. They will dig through the wall to carry things out that way. He will cover his face, because he will not see the land with his eyes.

“‘El príncipe que esté entre ellos llevará su equipaje al hombro en la oscuridad y saldrá. Cavarán a través de la pared para sacar las cosas de esa manera. Se cubrirá el rostro, porque no verá la tierra con sus ojos.

13 I will also spread my net on him, and he will be taken in my snare. I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Kasdim; yet he will not see it, though he will die there.

También tenderé mi red sobre él, y será atrapado en mi trampa. Lo llevaré a Babilonia, a la tierra de los caldeos; pero no la verá, aunque morirá allí.

14 I will scatter towards every wind all who are around him to help him, and all his bands. I will draw out the sword after them.

Esparciré hacia todos los vientos a todos los que lo rodean para ayudarlo, y a todas sus bandas. Sacaré la espada tras ellos.

15 “‘They will know that I am the LORD when I disperse them amongst the nations and scatter them through the countries.

“‘Sabrán que yo soy Yahvé cuando los disperse entre las naciones y los esparza por los países.

16 But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence, that they may declare all their abominations amongst the nations where they come. Then they will know that I am the LORD.’”

Pero dejaré unos pocos hombres de ellos de la espada, del hambre y de la peste, para que declaren todas sus abominaciones entre las naciones a las que lleguen. Entonces sabrán que yo soy Yahvé”.

17 Moreover the LORD’s word came to me, saying,

Y vino a mí la palabra de Yahvé, diciendo:

18 “Son of man, eat your bread with quaking, and drink your water with trembling and with fearfulness.

“Hijo de hombre, come tu pan con temblor, y bebe tu agua con temblor y con miedo.

19 Tell the people of the land, ‘The Lord GOD says concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem and Eretz-Israel: “They will eat their bread with fearfulness and drink their water in dismay, that her land may be desolate, and all that is therein, because of the violence of all those who dwell therein.

Dile al pueblo de la tierra: “El Señor Yahvé dice respecto a los habitantes de Jerusalén y de la tierra de Israel “Comerán su pan con temor y beberán su agua con espanto, para que su tierra quede desolada, y todo lo que hay en ella, a causa de la violencia de todos los que la habitan.

20 The cities that are inhabited will be laid waste, and the land will be a desolation. Then you will know that I am the LORD.”’”

Las ciudades habitadas serán asoladas, y la tierra será una desolación. Entonces sabrás que yo soy Yahvé”.

21 The LORD’s word came to me, saying,

La palabra de Yahvé vino a mí, diciendo:

22 “Son of man, what is this proverb that you have in Eretz-Israel, saying, ‘The days are prolonged, and every vision fails’?

“Hijo de hombre, ¿qué es ese proverbio que tienes en la tierra de Israel, que dice: “Los días se prolongan, y toda visión se cumple”?

23 Tell them therefore, ‘The Lord GOD says: “I will make this proverb to cease, and they will no more use it as a proverb in Israel;”’ but tell them, ‘“The days are at hand, and the fulfilment of every vision.

Diles, pues, que el Señor Yahvé dice: “Haré cesar este proverbio, y no lo usarán más como proverbio en Israel;” sino que diles: “Los días están cerca, y el cumplimiento de toda visión.

24 For there will be no more any false vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.

Porque ya no habrá más visión falsa ni adivinación lisonjera en la casa de Israel.

25 For I am the LORD. I will speak, and the word that I speak will be performed. It will be no more deferred; for in your days, rebellious house, I will speak the word and will perform it,” says the Lord GOD.’”

Porque yo soy Yahvé. Yo hablaré, y la palabra que yo hable se cumplirá. Ya no se aplazará más; porque en vuestros días, casa rebelde, hablaré la palabra y la cumpliré”, dice el Señor Yahvé”.

26 Again the LORD’s word came to me, saying,

Otra vez vino a mí la palabra de Yahvé, diciendo:

27 “Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, ‘The vision that he sees is for many days to come, and he prophesies of times that are far off.’

“Hijo de hombre, he aquí que los de la casa de Israel dicen: ‘La visión que él ve es para muchos días venideros, y profetiza de tiempos lejanos’.

28 “Therefore tell them, ‘The Lord GOD says: “None of my words will be deferred any more, but the word which I speak will be performed,” says the Lord GOD.’”

“Por lo tanto, diles: “El Señor Yahvé dice: “Ninguna de mis palabras se aplazará más, sino que se cumplirá la palabra que yo diga”, dice el Señor Yahvé”.
