Acts 9
1 But Saul, still breathing threats and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest
১সেই সময়ত চৌলে প্ৰভুৰ শিষ্য সকলক ভয় দেখুওৱাৰ লগতে বধ কৰাৰ ভাবুকিও দিবলৈ ধৰিলে৷ তেওঁ যিৰূচালেমত মহা-পুৰোহিতৰ ওচৰলৈ গ’ল,
2 and asked for letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
২আৰু দম্মেচক নগৰত থকা নাম-ঘৰৰ সমাজলৈ লিখা অনুমতি পত্ৰ ললে যাতে তেওঁ সেই পথৰ যি কোনো পুৰুষ বা মহিলাক পালেই তেওঁলোকক যেন ধৰি বান্ধি যিৰূচালেমলৈ আনিব পাৰে।
3 As he travelled, he got close to Damascus, and suddenly a light from the sky shone around him.
৩এই উদ্দেশ্যৰে যাত্ৰা কৰি দম্মেচক নগৰৰ ওচৰ পাওঁতে অকস্মাতে আকাশৰ পৰা পোহৰ ওলাই তেওঁৰ চাৰিওফালে প্ৰকাশিত হ’ল;
4 He fell on the earth, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”
৪তেওঁ তৎক্ষণাৎ মাটিত পৰিল আৰু এক আকাশ-বাণী শুনিবলৈ পালে, বোলে, “হে চৌল, হে চৌল, মোক কিয় তাড়না কৰিছা?”
5 He said, “Who are you, Lord?” The Lord said, “I am Yeshua, whom you are persecuting.
৫চৌলে উত্তৰ দি কলে- “হে প্ৰভু, আপুনি কোন?” তেতিয়া প্ৰভুৱে কলে, “যি জনক তুমি তাড়না কৰি আছা, মই সেই যীচু;
6 But rise up and enter into the city, then you will be told what you must do.”
৬কিন্তু উঠা, নগৰত সোমোৱা, তাতে তুমি কি কৰিব লাগিব, সেই বিষয়ে তোমাক কোৱা হ’ব।”
7 The men who travelled with him stood speechless, hearing the sound, but seeing no one.
৭তেওঁৰ লগত যোৱা মানুহবোৰে তাত কোনো ব্যক্তিক দেখা নাপালে কিন্তু সেই আকাশ-বাণী শুনি অবাক হৈ থাকিল।
8 Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened, he saw no one. They led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus.
৮পাছত চৌলে মাটিৰ পৰা উঠি চকু মেলি একো নেদেখিলে। তেতিয়া আন লোকে তেওঁক হাতত ধৰি দম্মেচক নগৰলৈ আনিলে৷
9 He was without sight for three days, and neither ate nor drank.
৯তাতে তেওঁ তিন দিনলৈকে দৃষ্টিহীন হৈ থাকিল আৰু ভোজন-পানো নকৰিলে।
10 Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Hananiah. The Lord said to him in a vision, “Hananiah!” He said, “Behold, it’s me, Lord.”
১০সেই সময়ত দম্মেচক নগৰত থকা অননিয় নামেৰে এজন শিষ্যক প্ৰভুৱে দৰ্শন দি কলে, “হে অননিয়।” তেওঁ ক’লে, “হে প্ৰভু, চাওক, মই আছোঁ।”
11 The Lord said to him, “Arise and go to the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judah for one named Saul, a man of Tarsus. For behold, he is praying,
১১তেতিয়া প্ৰভুৱে তেওঁক কলে, “তুমি উঠা, পোন নামৰ আলিবাটেৰে যোৱা, আৰু যিহূদাৰ ঘৰলৈ গৈ তাৰ্চ নগৰৰ চৌল নামৰ ব্যক্তি জনৰ খবৰ লোৱা৷ তাতে তুমি দেখিবা, তেওঁ প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰি আছে৷”
12 and in a vision he has seen a man named Hananiah coming in and laying his hands on him, that he might receive his sight.”
১২তেতিয়া চৌলে দৃষ্টি পাবৰ কাৰণে অননিয় নামেৰে এজন মানুহ তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ আহি তেওঁৰ গাত হাত দিয়া, এনে দৰ্শনত দেখা পালে।
13 But Hananiah answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he did to your holy ones at Jerusalem.
১৩কিন্তু অননিয়ই উত্তৰ দিলে, “হে প্ৰভু, সেই মানুহে যিৰূচালেমত আপোনাৰ নিযুক্ত পবিত্ৰ লোক সকলৰ কিমান অপকাৰ কৰিলে, সেই বিষয়ে মই অনেকৰ পৰা শুনিলোঁ৷
14 Here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name.”
১৪আৰু ইয়াতো আপোনাৰ নামেৰে প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰা লোক সকলক বান্ধিবলৈ তেওঁ প্ৰধান পুৰোহিত সকলৰ পৰা ক্ষমতালৈ আহিছে৷”
15 But the Lord said to him, “Go your way, for he is my chosen vessel to bear my name before the nations and kings, and the children of Israel.
১৫কিন্তু প্ৰভুৱে তেওঁক কলে, “তুমি যোৱা, কিয়নো অনা-ইহুদী আৰু ৰজা সকলৰ লগতে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তান সকলৰ আগত মোৰ নাম প্ৰচাৰ কৰিবলৈ, সেই জন মোৰ মনোনীত পাত্ৰ।
16 For I will show him how many things he must suffer for my name’s sake.”
১৬কিয়নো তেওঁ মোৰ নামৰ কাৰণে কিমান দুখভোগ কৰিব লাগিব, ইয়াকে মই তেওঁক দেখুৱাম।”
17 Hananiah departed and entered into the house. Laying his hands on him, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord, who appeared to you on the road by which you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”
১৭তেতিয়াই অননিয় গ’ল আৰু সেই ঘৰত সোমাই চৌলক বিচাৰি উলিয়ালে৷ তাৰ পাছত তেওঁ চৌলৰ গাত হাত দি কলে, “হে ভাই চৌল, আপুনি যেন দৃষ্টি পায় আৰু পবিত্ৰ আত্মাৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ হয়, এই কাৰণে আপুনি অহা বাটত যি জন প্ৰভু যীচুৱে অাপোনাক দেখা দিলে, তেৱেঁই মোক আপোনাৰ ওচৰলৈ পঠালে।”
18 Immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and he received his sight. He arose and was immersed.
১৮তেতিয়াই তেওঁৰ চকুৰ পৰা মাছৰ বাকলিৰ নিচিনা এচটা ওলাই আহিল আৰু পুনৰায় দৃষ্টি পালে; তাৰ পাছত তেওঁ উঠি বাপ্তাইজিত হ’ল৷
19 He took food and was strengthened. Saul stayed several days with the disciples who were at Damascus.
১৯ইয়াৰ পাছত তেওঁ খোৱা-বোৱা কৰি বলৱান হ’ল৷ এনেদৰে কিছুদিন তেওঁ শিষ্য সকলৰ সৈতে দম্মেচক নগৰতে থাকিল৷
20 Immediately in the synagogues he proclaimed the Messiah, that he is the Son of God.
২০আৰু যীচু যে ঈশ্বৰৰ পুত্ৰ হয়, এই কথা নাম-ঘৰবোৰত তেওঁ ঘোষণা কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে।
21 All who heard him were amazed, and said, “Isn’t this he who in Jerusalem made havoc of those who called on this name? And he had come here intending to bring them bound before the chief priests!”
২১তাতে সকলোৱে শুনি বিস্ময় মানি কলে, “বোলে, যি জনে যিৰূচালেমত এই নামেৰে প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰা সকলক লণ্ড-ভণ্ড কৰিছিল আৰু এতিয়াও তেনেলোকক বান্ধি প্ৰধান পুৰোহিতৰ আগলৈ নিবৰ আশয়েৰে এই ঠাইলৈকো আহিছে, সেই জন এৱেই নহয় নে?”
22 But Saul increased more in strength, and confounded the Jews who lived at Damascus, proving that this is the Messiah.
২২কিন্তু চৌলে অধিক শক্তিমান হৈ, এই যীচুৱেই যে খ্ৰীষ্ট হয়, ইয়াৰ প্ৰমাণ দি দম্মেচকত থকা ইহুদী সকলক নিৰুত্তৰ কৰিলে।
23 When many days were fulfilled, the Jews conspired together to kill him,
২৩এনেদৰে বহু দিনৰ পাছত ইহুদী সকলে তেওঁক বধ কৰিবলৈ চক্ৰান্ত কৰিলে৷
24 but their plot became known to Saul. They watched the gates both day and night that they might kill him,
২৪আৰু তেওঁলোকে তেওঁক বধ কৰিবলৈ দিনে-ৰাতিয়ে দুৱাৰ বোৰত খাপ দি থাকিল; কিন্তু চৌলে তেওঁলোকৰ চক্ৰান্ত বুজি পালে৷
25 but his disciples took him by night and let him down through the wall, lowering him in a basket.
২৫তাৰ পাছত তেওঁৰ শিষ্য সকলে ৰাতিতেই তেওঁক পাচিত ভৰাই, গড়েদি নমাই দিলে।
26 When Saul had come to Jerusalem, he tried to join himself to the disciples; but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple.
২৬পাছত চৌলে যিৰূচালেমলৈ গৈ শিষ্য সকলৰ লগ লবলৈ চেষ্টা কৰাত, সকলোৱে তেওঁলৈ ভয় কৰিলে, আৰু তেওঁ যে শিষ্য হয়, ইয়াকো বিশ্বাস নকৰিলে।
27 But Barnabas took him and brought him to the emissaries, and declared to them how he had seen the Lord on the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how at Damascus he had preached boldly in the name of Yeshua.
২৭কিন্তু বাৰ্ণব্বাই তেওঁক পাঁচনি সকলৰ আগলৈ আনিলে৷ ইয়াৰ পাছত দম্মেচকৰ পথত কেনেকৈ চৌলে প্ৰভুক দেখা পাইছিল, আৰু প্ৰভুৱে তেওঁৰ আগত কি কথা কৈছিল, আৰু তেওঁ কেনেকৈ দম্মেচকত যীচুৰ নামত সাহসেৰে প্ৰচাৰ কৰিছিল, সেই সকলো কথা তেওঁলোকৰ আগত বৰ্ণনা কৰিলে।
28 He was with them entering into Jerusalem,
২৮চৌলে তেওঁলোকৰ লগত যিৰূচালেমত অহা-যোৱা কৰি প্ৰভু যীচুৰ নামেৰে সাহসেৰে প্ৰচাৰ কৰিলে।
29 proclaiming boldly in the name of the Lord Yeshua. He spoke and disputed against the Hellenists, but they were seeking to kill him.
২৯তাতে তেওঁ গ্ৰীকভাষী ইহুদী সকলৰ সৈতে কথোপকথন আৰু বাদ-বিবাদ কৰিলে, কিন্তু তেওঁলোকে তেওঁক বধ কৰিবলৈ চেষ্টা কৰি আছিল।
30 When the brothers knew it, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him off to Tarsus.
৩০ভাই সকলে এই বিষয়ে জানিবলৈ পোৱাত তেওঁক চীজাৰিয়ালৈ নি তাৰ্চ নগৰলৈ পঠাই দিলে।
31 So the assemblies throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were built up. They were multiplied, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.
৩১সেই সময়ত গোটেই যিহুদীয়া, গালীল, আৰু চমৰীয়া দেশৰ মণ্ডলী সমূহ শান্তিত আছিল; বিশ্বাসী সকল সংখ্যাত বৃদ্ধি হৈ প্ৰভুৰ ভক্তিত আৰু পবিত্ৰ আত্মাই দিয়া উদগণিত জীৱন-যাপন কৰিছিল ৷
32 As Peter went throughout all those parts, he came down also to the holy ones who lived at Lydda.
৩২তাৰ পাছত পিতৰে ঠায়ে ঠায়ে ফুৰি লুদ্দা নগৰৰ নিবাসী পবিত্ৰ লোক সকলৰ ওচৰ পালেগৈ৷
33 There he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden for eight years because he was paralysed.
৩৩সেই ঠাইতে পক্ষাঘাত ৰোগত আক্ৰান্ত হৈ আঠ বছৰ শয্যাত পৰি থকা ঐনিয়া নামেৰে এজন মানু্হক দেখিলে।
34 Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Yeshua the Messiah heals you. Get up and make your bed!” Immediately he arose.
৩৪পিতৰে তেওঁক কলে, “হে ঐনিয়া, যীচু খ্ৰীষ্টই আপোনাক সুস্হ কৰিছে; আপুনি উঠি আপোনাৰ শয্যা চপাই লওঁক;” তাতে তেওঁ তেতিয়াই উঠি থিয় হ’ল।
35 All who lived at Lydda and in Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord.
৩৫পাছত লুদ্দা আৰু চাৰোণ-নিবাসী সকলেও প্ৰভুলৈ মন-পালটালে।
36 Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tavita, which when translated means Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and acts of mercy which she did.
৩৬আৰু যাক ভাষাত দৰ্কা অৰ্থাৎ হৰিণী বুলি মাতে, দান দিয়া আৰু সৎকৰ্মেৰে পূৰ্ণ হৈ থকা টাবিথা নামৰ শিষ্যা এজনী যাফোত আছিল৷
37 In those days, she became sick and died. When they had washed her, they laid her in an upper room.
৩৭সেই সময়ত তেওঁ নৰিয়াত পৰি মৃত্যু হোৱাত, লোক সকলে তেওঁক ধুৱাই ওপৰৰ কোঠালিত শুৱাই থলে।
38 As Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men to him, imploring him not to delay in coming to them.
৩৮তাতে লুদ্দা নগৰ যাফোৰ ওচৰ হোৱাত, আৰু পিতৰো তাতে আছে বুলি শুনি, শিষ্য সকলে তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ দুজন মানুহ পঠিয়াই মিনতি কৰালে, বোলে, “পলম নকৰি আমাৰ ইয়ালৈ আহক।”
39 Peter got up and went with them. When he had come, they brought him into the upper room. All the widows stood by him weeping, and showing the tunics and other garments which Dorcas had made while she was with them.
৩৯তেতিয়া পিতৰ উঠি তেওঁলোকৰ লগত গৈ তাত উপস্থিত হোৱাত, লোক সকলে তেওঁক ওপৰৰ কোঠালিলৈ নিলে আৰু বিধৱা সকলে তেওঁৰ ওচৰত থিয় হৈ কান্দি কান্দি, দৰ্কাই তেওঁলোকৰ লগত থাকোতে প্ৰস্তুত কৰা চোলা আদি কাপোৰ দেখুৱাবলৈ ধৰিলে।
40 Peter sent them all out, and knelt down and prayed. Turning to the body, he said, “Tavita, get up!” She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
৪০কিন্তু পিতৰে তেওঁলোক আটাইকে বাহিৰলৈ যাব দি আঁঠুকাঢ়ি প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিলে; পাছত মৃতদেহৰ ফাললৈ ঘূৰি চাই কলে, “হে টাবিথা উঠা।” তেতিয়া তেওঁ চকু মেলি পিতৰক দেখি বহিল৷
41 He gave her his hand and raised her up. Calling the holy ones and widows, he presented her alive.
৪১তাতে তেওঁ টাবিথাক হাতত ধৰি তুলিলে; আৰু পবিত্ৰ লোক আৰু বিধৱা সকলক মাতি, তেওঁলোকৰ আগত জীয়াই উঠা দেখুৱালে।
42 This became known throughout all Joppa, and many believed in the Lord.
৪২এই কথা যাফোৰ সকলো ঠাইতে জনাজাত হৈ যোৱাত, অনেক মানুহে প্ৰভুত বিশ্বাস কৰিলে।
43 He stayed many days in Joppa with a tanner named Simon.
৪৩তাৰ পাছত পিতৰে যাফোত, চিমোন নামেৰে এজন মুচিয়াৰৰ ঘৰত বহু দিন থাকিল।
