Acts 1
1 The first book I wrote, Theophilus, concerned all that Yeshua began both to do and to teach,
१हे थियफिला, येशूने जे शिकवले आणि केले, व ज्या विषयी मी पहिल्या ग्रंथात नमुद केले,
2 until the day in which he was received up, after he had given commandment through the Holy Spirit to the emissaries whom he had chosen.
२त्या दिवसापर्यंत जेव्हा तो वर घेतला गेला. या आज्ञा त्याने पवित्र आत्म्याच्या द्वारे त्याच्या निवडलेल्या प्रेषितांना दिल्या.
3 To these he also showed himself alive after he suffered, by many proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking about God’s Kingdom.
३मरण सोसल्यानंतरही येशूने त्यांना पुष्कळ प्रमाणांनी आपण जिवंत आहोत. हे दाखवून चाळीस दिवसपर्यंत तो त्यांना दर्शन देत असे, व देवाच्या राज्याच्या गोष्टी सांगत असे.
4 Being assembled together with them, he commanded them, “Don’t depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which you heard from me.
४नंतर तो त्यांच्याशी एकत्र असता त्याने त्यांना आज्ञा केली की, “यरूशलेम शहर सोडून जाऊ नका तर पित्याने देऊ केलेल्या, ज्या देणगी विषयी, तुम्ही माझ्याकडून ऐकले आहे त्याची वाट पाहा.
5 For Yochanan indeed immersed in water, but you will be immersed in the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”
५कारण योहानाने पाण्याने तुमचा बाप्तिस्मा केला खरा; थोडया दिवसानी तुमचा बाप्तिस्मा पवित्र आत्म्याने होईल.”
6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, are you now restoring the kingdom to Israel?”
६मग सर्वजण एकत्र जमले असताना शिष्यांनी येशूला विचारले, “प्रभूजी, याच काळात आपण इस्राएलाचे राज्य पुन्हा स्थापित करणार काय?”
7 He said to them, “It isn’t for you to know times or seasons which the Father has set within his own authority.
७तो त्यांना म्हणाला, “पित्याने स्वतःच्या अधिकारात काळ व समय ठेवले आहेत ते जाणणे तुम्हाकडे नाही.
8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.”
८परंतु पवित्र आत्मा तुम्हांवर येईल, तेव्हा तुम्ही सामर्थ्य प्राप्त कराल, आणि यरूशलेम शहरात सर्व यहूदीया आणि शोमरोन प्रांतात, व पृथ्वीच्या शेवटापर्यंत तुम्ही माझे साक्षी व्हाल.”
9 When he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight.
९असे सांगितल्यावर त्यांच्या डोळ्यासमोर तो वर घेतला गेला, आणि मेघांनी त्यास दृष्टीआड केले.
10 While they were looking steadfastly into the sky as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white clothing,
१०नंतर तो जात असता ते आकाशाकडे निरखून पाहत होते, तेव्हा पाहा, शुभ्र वस्त्रे परिधान केलेले दोन पुरूष त्यांच्याजवळ उभे राहिले.
11 who also said, “You men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Yeshua, who was received up from you into the sky, will come back in the same way as you saw him going into the sky.”
११आणि ते असे बोलले, “अहो गालीलकारांनो, तुम्ही आकाशाकडे का पाहत उभे राहिले आहात? हा जो येशू तुम्हापासून वर आकाशात घेतला गेला आहे? तुम्ही त्यास जसे आकाशात जातांना पाहता तसाच तो परत येईल.”
12 Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mountain called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s journey away.
१२मग यरूशलेम शहराजवळ म्हणजे शब्बाथ दिवसाच्या मजलेवर असलेल्या जैतुनांच्या डोंगरावरून ते यरूशलेम शहरास परत आले.
13 When they had come in, they went up into the upper room where they were staying, that is Peter, Yochanan, Jacob, Andrew, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, Jacob the son of Halfai, Simon the Zealot, and Judah the son of Jacob.
१३आणि आल्यावर ते माडीवरच्या एका खोलीत जिथे पेत्र, योहान, याकोब, अंद्रिया, फिलिप्प, थोमा, बर्थलमय, मत्तय, अल्फीचा मुलगा याकोब, शिमोन जिलोत व याकोबाचा मुलगा यहूदा हे राहत होते, तिथे गेले.
14 All these with one accord continued steadfastly in prayer and supplication, along with the women and Miriam the mother of Yeshua, and with his brothers.
१४हे सर्वजण आणि त्यांच्यासह कित्येक स्त्रिया, येशूची आई मरीया, व त्याचे भाऊ एकचित्ताने एकसारखे प्रार्थना करत होते.
15 In these days, Peter stood up in the middle of the disciples (and the number of names was about one hundred and twenty), and said,
१५त्या दिवसात पेत्र बंधुवर्गामध्ये, सुमारे एकशेवीस मनुष्यांच्या जमावामध्ये उभा राहून म्हणाला,
16 “Brothers, it was necessary that this Scripture should be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke before by the mouth of David concerning Judah, who was guide to those who took Yeshua.
१६“बंधुजनहो, येशूला धरून नेणाऱ्यांना वाट दाखविणाऱ्या यहूदाविषयी पवित्र आत्म्याने दावीदाच्या मुखावाटे जे भविष्य आधीच वर्तवले होते, ते पूर्ण होण्याचे अगत्य होते.
17 For he was counted with us, and received his portion in this ministry.
१७तो आपल्या मधलाच एक होता आणि त्यास या सेवेतल्या लाभाचा त्याचा वाटा मिळाला होता.”
18 Now this man obtained a field with the reward for his wickedness; and falling headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines gushed out.
१८(त्याने आपल्या दुष्टाईची कृतीकरून मजुरीने शेत विकत घेतले. तो पालथा पडल्याने त्याचे पोट मध्येच फुटले, व त्याची आतडी बाहेर पडली.
19 It became known to everyone who lived in Jerusalem that in their language that field was called ‘Hakel-Dema,’ that is, ‘The field of blood.’
१९हे यरूशलेम शहरात राहणाऱ्या सर्वांना कळले म्हणून त्यांच्या भाषेत त्या शेताला हकलदमा, म्हणजे रक्ताचे शेत, असे नाव पडले आहे.)
20 For it is written in the scroll of Psalms, ‘Let his habitation be made desolate. Let no one dwell in it;’ and, ‘Let another take his office.’
२०स्तोत्रसंहितेत असे लिहिले आहे की, त्याचे घर उजाड पडो, व त्यामध्ये कोणीही न राहो. आणि, त्याचा हुद्दा दूसरा घेवो.
21 “Of the men therefore who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Yeshua went in and out amongst us,
२१म्हणून, प्रभू येशू, आमच्यामध्ये आत बाहेर येत जात होता त्या सर्व काळात,
22 beginning from the immersion of Yochanan to the day that he was received up from us, of these one must become a witness with us of his resurrection.”
२२योहानाच्या बाप्तिस्म्यापासून तर ज्या दिवशी प्रभू येशूला आपल्यापासून वर घेण्यात आले, त्या दिवसापर्यंत तर जी माणसे आपल्या संगतीसोबतीत होती त्यांच्यातून एकाने आपल्याबरोबर त्याच्या पुनरुत्थानाचा साक्षी झाले पाहिजे.
23 They put forward two: Joseph called Barsabbas, who was also called Justus, and Matthiah.
२३तेव्हा ज्याचे उपनाव युस्त होते, तो बर्सबा म्हटलेला योसेफ व मत्थिया, या दोघांना त्यांनी पुढे आणले.
24 They prayed and said, “You, Lord, who know the hearts of all men, show which one of these two you have chosen
२४मग त्यांनी अशी प्रार्थना केली, “हे सर्वाची हृदये जाणणाऱ्या प्रभू,
25 to take part in this ministry and office of emissary from which Judah fell away, that he might go to his own place.”
२५हे सेवकपद व प्रेषितपद सोडून आपल्या जागी गेलेल्या यहूदाचे पद ज्याला मिळावे असा या दोघांपैकी तू कोण निवडला आहेस ते दाखव.”
26 They drew lots for them, and the lot fell on Matthiah; and he was counted with the Eleven emissaries.
२६मग त्यांनी त्यांच्यासाठी चिठ्ठ्या टाकल्यावर मत्थियाची चिठ्ठी निघाली; तेव्हा त्यास अकरा प्रेषितांबरोबर गणण्यात आले.
