2 Timothy 3
1 But know this: that in the last days, grievous times will come.
Sepan que en [los] últimos días habrá tiempos difíciles,
2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
porque habrá hombres egoístas, amigos del dinero, arrogantes, soberbios, blasfemos, desobedientes a [los] progenitores, ingratos, impíos,
3 without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, not lovers of good,
sin afecto natural, irreconciliables, calumniadores desenfrenados, crueles, aborrecedores de lo bueno,
4 traitors, headstrong, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
traidores, impetuosos, envanecidos, amadores de los placeres en vez de ser amadores de Dios.
5 holding a form of godliness but having denied its power. Turn away from these, also.
Aunque tienen apariencia de piedad, niegan el poder de ella. Apártate también de ellos.
6 For some of these are people who creep into houses and take captive gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts,
Porque de éstos son los que penetran en las casas y desvían a mujercillas cargadas de pecados, llevadas por diversas pasiones,
7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
que siempre aprenden y nunca llegan al conocimiento de [la] verdad.
8 Even as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind, who concerning the faith are rejected.
De la manera que Janes y Jambres resistieron a Moisés, así también éstos se resisten a la verdad, hombres de mente depravada, descalificados en cuanto a la fe.
9 But they will proceed no further. For their folly will be evident to all men, as theirs also came to be.
No avanzarán mucho, porque su insensatez será evidente a todos, como también fue la de aquéllos.
10 But you followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, steadfastness,
Pero tú seguiste mi enseñanza, conducta, propósito, fe, longanimidad, amor, perseverancia,
11 persecutions, and sufferings—those things that happened to me at Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. I endured those persecutions. The Lord delivered me out of them all.
persecuciones, padecimientos, como los que me vinieron en Antioquía, en Iconio y en Listra. Esas persecuciones sufrí, y el Señor me libró de todas.
12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Messiah Yeshua will suffer persecution.
También todos los que quieren vivir piadosamente en Cristo Jesús serán perseguidos.
13 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.
En cambio los hombres malos e impostores avanzarán hacia lo peor, pues engañan y son engañados.
14 But you remain in the things which you have learnt and have been assured of, knowing from whom you have learnt them.
Pero tú permanece en las cosas que aprendiste y por las cuales te persuadiste, pues sabes de quiénes aprendiste,
15 From infancy, you have known the holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Messiah Yeshua.
y que desde niño sabes [las] Sagradas Escrituras, que pueden hacerte sabio en [la ]salvación por medio de [la ]fe en Cristo Jesús.
16 Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness,
Toda [la] Escritura es inspirada por Dios, y útil para enseñanza, reprobación, corrección e instrucción en la justicia,
17 that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
a fin de que el hombre de Dios sea equilibrado, equipado para toda buena obra.
