2 Thessalonians 2

1 Now, brothers, concerning the coming of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah and our gathering together to him, we ask you

பிரியமானவர்களே, நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் வருகையைக் குறித்தும், நாம் அவரிடத்தில் சேர்க்கப்படுவதைக் குறித்தும், நாங்கள் உங்களிடம் கேட்டுக்கொள்வது இதுவே:

2 not to be quickly shaken in your mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter as if from us, saying that the day of Messiah has already come.

ஏதாவது இறைவாக்கினாலோ, அறிக்கையினாலோ, எங்களிடமிருந்து வந்தது என சொல்லப்படுகிற கடிதத்தினாலோ, கர்த்தருடைய நாள் ஏற்கெனவே வந்துவிட்டதென சொல்லப்பட்டால், அதைக்குறித்து நீங்கள் நிலைகுலைந்து போகவோ, திகிலடையவோ வேண்டாம்.

3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction.

யாராவது உங்களை எவ்வகையிலும் ஏமாற்றுவதற்கு சிறிதளவும் இடங்கொடுக்க வேண்டாம். ஏனெனில், இறைவனுக்கெதிரான பெரும் கலகம் ஏற்பட்டு, அக்கிரம மனிதன் வெளிப்படும்வரைக்கும், அந்த நாள் வராது; அந்த மனிதனே அழிவுக்கு நியமிக்கப்பட்டவன்.

4 He opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshipped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself up as God.

அவன் இறைவன் என்று சொல்லப்படும் எல்லாவற்றிற்கும், வழிபாட்டுக்குரியவைகள் எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் எதிர்த்து நிற்பான். இவை எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் மேலாக அவன் தன்னை உயர்த்துவான். இதனால், இறைவனின் ஆலயத்தில் தேவன்போல அமர்த்திக்கொண்டு, தன்னையே இறைவன் என்று பிரசித்தப்படுத்துவான்.

5 Don’t you remember that when I was still with you, I told you these things?

நான் உங்களுடன் இருந்தபோது, நான் இவற்றைக்குறித்து உங்களுக்குச் சொன்னது ஞாபகம் இல்லையா?

6 Now you know what is restraining him, to the end that he may be revealed in his own season.

அவனை இப்போது வெளிப்படாதபடி தடுத்துக்கொண்டிருப்பவர் யாரென்று, உங்களுக்குத் தெரியும். இதனால், அவன் ஏற்ற காலத்திலேதான் வெளிப்படுவான்.

7 For the mystery of lawlessness already works. Only there is one who restrains now, until he is taken out of the way.

ஏனெனில், அக்கிரமத்தின் இரகசியம், ஏற்கெனவே வல்லமை செயலாற்றிக்கொண்டு இருக்கிறது. ஆனால், அதை இப்பொழுது தடுத்துக்கொண்டிருப்பவர், தாம் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்படும்வரை தொடர்ந்து, அதைத் தடுத்துக்கொண்டே இருப்பார்.

8 Then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will kill with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the manifestation of his coming;

அதற்குப் பின்பு, அந்த அக்கிரம மனிதன் வெளிப்படுவான். அவனை கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு தம்முடைய வாயின் சுவாசத்தினாலே அழித்து, தமது வருகையின் மகிமையினாலே அவனை அழித்துப்போடுவார்.

9 even he whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

அந்த அக்கிரம மனிதன் வரும்போது, சாத்தானுடைய செயலின்படி சகல வல்லமையோடும், பலவித போலியான அற்புதங்களும், அடையாளங்களும், அதிசயங்களும் செய்து காட்டுவான்.

10 and with all deception of wickedness for those who are being lost, because they didn’t receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

அழிந்துபோகிறவர்களை ஏமாற்றி எல்லா விதமான தீமையான செயல்களும் செய்துகாட்டப்படும். இறைவனுடைய சத்தியத்தை அன்புடன் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவும், அதனால் இரட்சிப்பைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளவும் மறுத்ததினாலேயே, அவர்கள் அழிந்துபோகிறார்கள்.

11 Because of this, God sends them a powerful delusion, that they should believe a lie,

இந்தக் காரணத்தினாலே, இறைவன் அவர்களுக்குள்ளே ஏமாற்றத்தை நம்பும் வண்ணமாக, தவறான தன்மையை வரவிடுவார். அதனால் அவர்கள் பொய்யையே நம்புவார்கள்.

12 that they all might be judged who didn’t believe the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

இவ்வாறு சத்தியத்தை விசுவாசிக்காமல், கொடுமையான செயல்களில் மகிழ்ச்சி கொண்டவர்கள் எல்லோரும் குற்றவாளிகளாய்த் தீர்க்கப்படுவார்கள்.

13 But we are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief in the truth,

ஆனால், கர்த்தரின் அன்புக்குரிய பிரியமானவர்களே, உங்களையோ, இரட்சிப்பைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளும்படி ஆரம்பத்திலிருந்தே இறைவன் தெரிந்துகொண்டார். பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் பரிசுத்தமாக்குகிற செயலினாலும், சத்தியத்தை நம்பி விசுவாசிக்கிறதினாலும், இந்த இரட்சிப்பு வருகிறது. இதனாலேயே உங்களுக்காக, நாங்கள் எப்பொழுதும் இறைவனுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தக் கடமைப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம்.

14 to which he called you through our Good News, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.

நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினுடைய மகிமையில், நீங்களும் பங்குடையவர்களாகும்படியே, எங்களுடைய நற்செய்தியின் மூலமாய், அவர் உங்களை அழைத்திருக்கிறார்.

15 So then, brothers, stand firm and hold the traditions which you were taught by us, whether by word or by letter.

ஆகவே பிரியமானவர்களே, நீங்கள் உறுதியுடன் நின்று, எங்களுடைய வாயின் வார்த்தை மூலமாகவோ, அல்லது கடிதத்தின் மூலமாகவோ, நாங்கள் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த போதனைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.

16 Now our Lord Yeshua the Messiah himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, (aiōnios g166)

நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவும், பிதாவாகிய இறைவனும் நம்மில் அன்பு செலுத்தி, தமது கிருபையினால் நமக்கு நித்திய தைரியத்தையும், நல்ல எதிர்பார்ப்பையும் தந்துள்ளார். (aiōnios g166)

17 comfort your hearts and establish you in every good work and word.

அவர் உங்களுடைய இருதயங்களை உற்சாகப்படுத்தி, உங்களை எல்லா நற்செயலிலும் நற்சொல்லிலும் பெலப்படுத்துவாராக.
