1 Thessalonians 5

1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need that anything be written to you.

১হে ভাইসকল, এতিয়া সেই কাল বা সেই সময়ৰ কথা মই আপোনালোকলৈ একো লিখাৰ প্রয়োজন নাই;

2 For you yourselves know well that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night.

২কিয়নো আপোনালোকে নিজেই ভালদৰে জানে যে, ৰাতি যেনেকৈ চোৰ আহে, প্ৰভুৰ দিনটোও তেনেকৈয়ে আহিব।

3 For when they are saying, “Peace and safety,” then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman. Then they will in no way escape.

৩যেতিয়া লোক সকলে “শান্তি আৰু নিৰাপত্তা” ৰ কথা কব, তেতিয়া হঠাতে হোৱা গর্ভৱতীৰ প্ৰসৱ বেদনাৰ নিচিনাকৈ, তেওঁলোকলৈ বিনাশ আহিব আৰু তেওঁলোক কোনোমতেই সাৰিব নোৱাৰিব।

4 But you, brothers, aren’t in darkness, that the day should overtake you like a thief.

৪কিন্তু হে ভাই সকল, চোৰৰ আহিব পৰাকৈ সেইদিন আপোনালোকৰ ওচৰত উপস্থিত হবলৈ, এতিয়া আপোনালোক পুনৰ আন্ধাৰত থকা নাই;

5 You are all children of light and children of the day. We don’t belong to the night, nor to darkness,

৫কিয়নো আপোনালোক সকলোৱেই পোহৰ আৰু দিনৰ সন্তান। আমি ৰাতি বা আন্ধাৰৰ লোক নহওঁ।

6 so then let’s not sleep, as the rest do, but let’s watch and be sober.

৬এই হেতুকে আহক, আমি আন লোকবোৰৰ নিচিনাকৈ টোপনিয়াই নাথাকি, পৰ দি আৰু সংযত হৈ থাকোহঁক।

7 For those who sleep, sleep in the night; and those who are drunk are drunk in the night.

৭কিয়নো যি সকলে টোপনিয়াই, তেওঁলোকে ৰাতিহে টোপনিয়ায়; যি সকল মদ্যপায়ী, তেওঁলোক ৰাতিহে মাতাল হয়।

8 But since we belong to the day, let’s be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.

৮কিন্তু আমি হলে দিনৰ সন্তান হোৱাত, আহক আমি সংযমী হওঁ; বিশ্বাস আৰু প্ৰেমৰ বুকুবৰি পিন্ধি, মূৰত পৰিত্রাণৰ আশাৰূপ নিশ্চয়তাৰ টকয়া পিন্ধোহঁক।

9 For God didn’t appoint us to wrath, but to the obtaining of salvation through our Lord Yeshua the Messiah,

৯কিয়নো আমি ক্ৰোধৰ পাত্ৰ হবলৈ নহয়, আমাৰ প্ৰভু যীচু খ্ৰীষ্টৰ দ্বাৰাই পৰিত্রাণ লাভ কৰিবলৈহে ঈশ্বৰে আমাক মনোনীত কৰিলে;

10 who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

১০আমি জীয়াই থাকো বা নিদ্ৰিত অৱস্থাতেই থাকো, আমি যেন তেওঁৰ লগতেই জীৱিত থাকিব পাৰোঁ, এই কাৰণে যীচুৱে আমাৰ কাৰণে প্রাণ দিলে।

11 Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do.

১১এতেকে আপোনালোকে এতিয়া যেনেকৈ আছে, তেনেকৈয়ে পৰস্পৰে সান্ত্বনা দি থাকক আৰু এজনে আন জনক গঢ় দি তোলক।

12 But we beg you, brothers, to know those who labour amongst you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you,

১২ভাই সকল, আমি বিনয় কৰোঁ, যি লোক সকলে আপোনালোকৰ মাজত পৰিশ্ৰম কৰে আৰু প্ৰভুত আপোনালোকৰ ওপৰত পৰিচালনাত আছে, আৰু আপোনালোকক উপদেশ দিয়ে, সেই লোক সকলক আপোনালোকে সন্মান কৰক।

13 and to respect and honour them in love for their work’s sake. Be at peace amongst yourselves.

১৩আমি পুণৰ কওঁ, আপোনালোকে তেওঁলোকৰ কার্যৰ কাৰণে প্রেমৰ মনোভাৱেৰে অতিশয়ৰূপে তেওঁলোকক সন্মান কৰক আৰু পৰস্পৰৰ মাজত শান্তি বজায় ৰাখক।

14 We exhort you, brothers: Admonish the disorderly; encourage the faint-hearted; support the weak; be patient towards all.

১৪ভাই সকল, আমি আপোনালোকক এই উপদেশ দিওঁ, অনিয়মত হৈ চলা লোকক আপোনালোকে সাৱধান কৰক; নিৰুৎসাহী লোকক উৎসাহ দিয়ক, দুর্বল লোকৰ সাৰথি হওক আৰু সকলোৰে প্রতি সহিষ্ণু হওক।

15 See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good for one another and for all.

১৫সাৱধান, কোনেও যেন অপকাৰৰ সলনি কাৰো অপকাৰ নকৰে। কিন্তু পৰস্পৰৰ আৰু সকলোৰে কাৰণে যি উত্তম, তেনে কৰ্ম কৰিবলৈ যেন চেষ্টা কৰে।

16 Always rejoice.

১৬সকলো সময়তে আনন্দত থাকক।

17 Pray without ceasing.

১৭নিৰন্তৰে প্ৰাৰ্থনাকৰি থাকক।

18 In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Messiah Yeshua towards you.

১৮সকলো বিষয়তে ঈশ্বৰক ধন্যবাদ দিয়ক; কিয়নো আপোনালোকৰ প্ৰতি খ্ৰীষ্ট যীচুত ঈশ্বৰৰ এই ইচ্ছা।

19 Don’t quench the Spirit.

১৯পবিত্ৰ আত্মাক নুনুমাব।

20 Don’t despise prophecies.

২০ভাৱবাণী হেয়জ্ঞান নকৰিব।

21 Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good.

২১সকলো বিষয় বিবেচনা কৰি যি বিষয় ভাল, তাকে ধৰি ৰাখক।

22 Abstain from every form of evil.

২২সকলো প্ৰকাৰৰ মন্দৰ পৰা পৃথকে থাকক।

23 May the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.

২৩শান্তিদাতা ঈশ্বৰে আপোনালোকক সম্পূর্ণৰূপে পবিত্ৰ কৰক; আৰু আপোনালোকৰ আত্মা, প্ৰাণ, আৰু শৰীৰ আমাৰ প্ৰভু যীচু খ্ৰীষ্টৰ আগমণৰ দিন পর্যন্ত নির্দোষীৰূপে সম্পূর্ণকৈ ৰক্ষিত হওক।

24 He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it.

২৪যি জনে আপোনালোকক আমন্ত্ৰণ কৰিছে, তেৱেঁই সেয়া কৰিব, কাৰণ তেওঁ বিশ্বাসী।

25 Brothers, pray for us.

২৫ভাই সকল, আমাৰ কাৰণেও প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিব।

26 Greet all the brothers with a holy kiss.

২৬সকলো ভাইকে পবিত্ৰ চুমাৰে শুভেচ্ছা জনাব।

27 I solemnly command you by the Lord that this letter be read to all the holy brothers.

২৭মই আপোনালোকক প্ৰভুৰ যোগেদি এই অনুৰোধ কৰোঁ যে, এই পত্ৰ যেন সকলো ভাইৰ আগত পাঠ কৰি শুনোৱা হয়।

28 The grace of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah be with you. Amen.

২৮আমাৰ প্ৰভু যীচু খ্ৰীষ্টৰ অনুগ্ৰহ আপোনালোক সকলোৰে লগত থাকক।
