1 Peter 2
1 Putting away therefore all wickedness, all deceit, hypocrisies, envies, and all evil speaking,
၁သို့ဖြစ်၍သင်တို့သည်မကောင်းမှုအမျိုးမျိုး နှင့်လှည့်ဖြားမှု၊ ဟန်ဆောင်မှု၊ မနာလိုမှုနှင့် ဆဲရေးတိုင်းထွာမှုတို့ကိုပယ်ရှားကြလော့။-
2 as newborn babies, long for the pure spiritual milk, that with it you may grow,
၂မွေးစကလေးသူငယ်ကဲ့သို့ဝိညာဉ်နို့ရည် စစ်ကိုအမြဲလိုလားတောင့်တကြလော့။ သို့ မှသာသင်တို့သည်ကြီးထွား၍ကယ်တင် ခြင်းခံရလိမ့်မည်။-
3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
၃ကျမ်းစာတော်က``ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သနားကြင်နာတော်မူတတ်ကြောင်းကို သင်တို့ကိုယ်တိုင်သိရှိကြ၏'' ဟုဆိုသည် နှင့်အညီဖြစ်၏။
4 Come to him, a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God, precious.
၄သို့ဖြစ်၍ထာဝရဘုရားသခင်၏ထံတော် သို့လာကြလော့။ ထိုသခင်သည်သက်ရှိကျောက် ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ ထိုကျောက်သည်အဖိုးမတန် ဟုဆို၍ လူတို့ပစ်ပယ်ခံရသော်လည်းဘုရား သခင်၏ရွေးချယ်ခံအဖိုးတန်ကျောက်ဖြစ် တော်မူ၏။-
5 You also as living stones are built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Yeshua the Messiah.
၅သင်တို့သည်သက်ရှိကျောက်များအဖြစ် ကိုယ်တော်ထံသို့လာ၍ ဗိမာန်တော်တည် ဆောက်ရေးတွင်ပါဝင်အသုံးခံကြလော့။ ထိုဝိညာဉ်ဗိမာန်တော်တွင်သင်တို့သည် ဘုရားသခင်နှစ်သက်တော်မူသောဝိညာဉ် ယဇ်ကိုသခင်ယေရှုခရစ်အားဖြင့် ပူဇော် သောသန့်ရှင်းမြင့်မြတ်သည့်ယဇ်ပုရော ဟိတ်အနွယ်ဝင်များဖြစ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။-
6 Because it is contained in Scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, chosen and precious. He who believes in him will not be disappointed.”
၆အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်ကျမ်းစာတော်တွင် ``ငါသည်အဖိုးတန်ကျောက်တစ်လုံးကို ရွေးချယ်၍၊ ဇိအုန်တောင်ပေါ်မှာထောင့်ချုပ်ကျောက်အဖြစ် ချထား၏။ မည်သူမဆိုထိုအရှင်ကိုယုံကြည်လျှင် စိတ်ပျက်ရလိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်'' ဟုဖော်ပြပါရှိသောကြောင့်ဖြစ်၏။
7 For you who believe therefore is the honour, but for those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone,”
၇ယုံကြည်သူတို့အဖို့ထိုကျောက်သည်တန်ဖိုး ရှိ၏။ မယုံကြည်သူတို့အဖို့မှာ၊ ``တိုက်တည်ဆောက်သူတို့ပယ်ထားသော ကျောက်သည် အရေးကြီးသောထောင့်ကျောက်ဖြစ်လာရ၏'' ဟုဖော်ပြ၏။
8 and, “a stumbling stone and a rock of offence.” For they stumble at the word, being disobedient, to which also they were appointed.
၈အခြားကျမ်းတစ်ပုဒ်တွင်၊ ``ထိုကျောက်သည်လူတို့အားခလုတ်ထိစေ၍ ပြိုလဲစေသောကျောက်ဖြစ်၏'' ဟုဖော်ပြပါရှိ၏။ သူတို့သည်နှုတ်ကပတ်တော် ကို မယုံကြည်ကြသဖြင့်ခလုတ်ထိရကြ၏။ ဤကားထိုသူတို့အတွက်ဘုရားသခင်၏ အလိုတော်ပင်ဖြစ်သတည်း။
9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.
၉သို့ရာတွင်သင်တို့သည်အရွေးခံလူမျိုးဖြစ် ၏။ တော်ဝင်ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်များ၊ သန့်ရှင်းမြင့် မြတ်သည့်လူမျိုး၊ ဘုရားသခင်ပိုင်တော်မူ သောလူမျိုးဖြစ်ကြ၏။ ယင်းသို့ရွေးချယ်တော် မူခြင်းခံရသည်မှာ ဘုရားသခင်ပြုတော် မူသောအံ့ဖွယ်ကောင်းသည့်အမှုအရာများ ကိုဖော်ပြကြေညာနိုင်စေခြင်း၊ ဘုရားသခင် သည်သင်တို့အားအမှောင်ထဲမှအံ့ဖွယ်ရာ အလင်းထဲသို့ခေါ်ယူတော်မူပေသည်။-
10 In the past, you were not a people, but now are God’s people, who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
၁၀အခါတစ်ပါးကဘုရားသခင်၏လူစုတော် မဟုတ်သူသင်တို့သည်ယခုအခါကိုယ်တော် ၏လူစုတော်ဖြစ်ကြပြီ။ အခါတစ်ပါးက သင်တို့သည်ဘုရားသခင်၏ကရုဏာတော် ကိုမသိရကြ။ ယခုမှာမူကိုယ်တော်၏ ကရုဏာတော်ကိုခံစားရကြလေပြီ။
11 Beloved, I beg you as foreigners and pilgrims to abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul,
၁၁ချစ်ဆွေတို့၊ သင်တို့သည်ဤလောကတွင်ဧည့် သည်အာဂန္တုအဖြစ်နှင့် မိမိတို့အားအမြဲ စစ်ပြိုင်တိုက်ခိုက်လျက်နေသောကာယတပ် မက်မှုများကိုအရှုံးမပေးရန် ငါတိုက်တွန်း နှိုးဆော်၏။-
12 having good behaviour amongst the nations, so in that of which they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good works and glorify God in the day of visitation.
၁၂မယုံကြည်သူတို့သည်သင်တို့အားမကောင်း မှုပြုကြသူများဟု ပြစ်တင်စွပ်စွဲလျက်နေ ကြစဉ် သင်တို့၏အကျင့်ကောင်းများကိုမြင် သဖြင့်ဘုရားသခင်ကြွလာတော်မူရာနေ့ ၌ ကိုယ်တော်၏ဘုန်းအသရေတော်ကိုချီးကူး ကြစေရန် သင်တို့သည်ထိုသူတို့ရှေ့တွင်တင့် တယ်လျောက်ပတ်စွာပြုမူကျင့်ကြံလျက် နေကြလော့။
13 Therefore subject yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether to the king, as supreme,
၁၃သခင်ဘုရား၏မျက်နှာတော်ကိုထောက်၍ လူအာဏာပိုင်ရှိသမျှတို့၏အုပ်စိုးခြင်း ကိုဝန်ခံကြလော့။ ဘုရင်ဧကရာဇ်မင်းအား အချုပ်အခြာအာဏာပိုင်အဖြစ်ဖြင့်လည်း ကောင်း၊-
14 or to governors, as sent by him for vengeance on evildoers and for praise to those who do well.
၁၄ဘုရင်ခံများအားလူဆိုးတို့ကိုအပြစ်ပေး ရန်နှင့်၊ လူကောင်းတို့ကိုချီးမြှင့်ရန်ဘုရင် ဧကရာဇ်ခန့်ထားသောသူများအဖြစ်ဖြင့် လည်းကောင်းလက်ခံကြလော့။-
15 For this is the will of God, that by well-doing you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish men.
၁၅သင်တို့သည်မိမိတို့၏အကျင့်ကောင်းအားဖြင့် အသိဉာဏ်ကင်းမဲ့သည့်လူမိုက်တို့၏နှုတ်ကို ပိတ်ရန်ဘုရားသခင်အလိုတော်ရှိတော်မူ၏။-
16 Live as free people, yet not using your freedom for a cloak of wickedness, but as bondservants of God.
၁၆သင်တို့သည်လွတ်လပ်သူများအနေဖြင့်ပြုမူ နေထိုင်ကြလော့။ သို့ရာတွင်ဆိုးညစ်မှု၊ တစ်စုံ တစ်ရာကိုဖုံးကွယ်ရန်အတွက်မိမိတို့၏ လွတ်လပ်မှုကိုအသုံးမပြုကြနှင့်။ သို့ရာ တွင်သင်တို့သည်ဘုရားသခင်၏ကျွန်များ အဖြစ်ဖြင့်ပြုမူနေထိုင်ကြလော့။-
17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
၁၇ခပ်သိမ်းသောသူတို့ကိုလေးစားကြလော့။ ယုံကြည် သူတို့ကိုချစ်ကြလော့။ ဘုရားသခင်ကိုကြောက်ရွံ့ ကြလော့။ ဘုရင်ဧကရာဇ်မင်းအားရိုသေကြလော့။
18 Servants, be in subjection to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the wicked.
၁၈အစေခံတို့၊ သင်တို့သည်မိမိတို့သခင်များ၏ အုပ်စိုးခြင်းကိုဝန်ခံရကြမည်။ စိတ်ကောင်းရှိ၍ ညှာတာထောက်ထားတတ်သောသခင်များကို သာမဟုတ်၊ ကြမ်းယုတ်သောသခင်တို့ကို လည်းအလွန်ကြောက်ရွံ့ရိုသေကြလော့။-
19 For it is commendable if someone endures pain, suffering unjustly, because of conscience towards God.
၁၉သင်တို့သည်ဘုရားသခင်၏အလိုတော်ကို သိသဖြင့် မိမိတို့မခံထိုက်သောဆင်းရဲဒုက္ခ များကိုမညည်းမညူဘဲခံကြပါမူ ဘုရား သခင်သည်သင်တို့အားကောင်းချီးပေးတော် မူလိမ့်မည်။-
20 For what glory is it if, when you sin, you patiently endure beating? But if when you do well, you patiently endure suffering, this is commendable with God.
၂၀သင်တို့သည်မိမိတို့ပြုမိသည့်အမှားများ အတွက်ခံထိုက်သောအပြစ်များကိုမညည်း မညူဘဲခံကြပါမူ သင်တို့အားအဘယ်သို့ လျှင်ချီးမွမ်းစရာရှိမည်နည်း။ သို့ရာတွင် အမှန်ကိုပြုလျက်ဒုက္ခဆင်းရဲကိုခံရသော အခါ မညည်းမညူဘဲခံကြလျှင်မူကား ဘုရားသခင်သည်သင်တို့အားကောင်းချီး ပေးတော်မူလိမ့်မည်။-
21 For you were called to this, because Messiah also suffered for us, leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps,
၂၁ဤနည်းအတိုင်းပြုမူစေရန်သင်တို့အား ကိုယ်တော်ရွေးကောက်တော်မူခြင်းဖြစ်ပေ သည်။ ခရစ်တော်ကိုယ်တိုင်ပင်လျှင်သင်တို့ အတွက်ဒုက္ခဝေဒနာခံတော်မူ၍ ခြေတော် ရာကိုသင်တို့လိုက်လျှောက်နိုင်စေရန်စံနမူ နာထားခဲ့ပြီ။-
22 who didn’t sin, “neither was deceit found in his mouth.”
၂၂ကိုယ်တော်သည်အပြစ်မကူး၊ မုသားကို လည်းအဘယ်အခါ၌မျှသုံးတော်မမူ။-
23 When he was cursed, he didn’t curse back. When he suffered, he didn’t threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously.
၂၃မိမိအားပုတ်ခတ်ပြောဆိုသောအခါတုံ့ပြန် ပုတ်ခတ်ပြောဆိုမှုပြုတော်မမူ။ ဝေဒနာခံ တော်မူရသောအခါခြိမ်းခြောက်တော်မမူဘဲ ဖြောင့်မှန်စွာတရားစီရင်တော်မူသောဘုရား သခင်၏လက်တော်သို့မိမိ၏အမှုကိုအပ် တော်မူ၏။-
24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds.
၂၄ငါတို့သည်အပြစ်ဒုစရိုက်ကိုအမြစ်ဖြတ် ၍ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်းအတွက်အသက်ရှင်နိုင် ကြစေရန် ကိုယ်တော်တိုင်ပင်လျှင်ငါတို့၏ အပြစ်များကိုကိုယ်ခန္ဓာတော်ပေါ်တွင်ယူ ဆောင်ကာလက်ဝါးကပ်တိုင်၌ဒုက္ခဝေဒနာ ခံတော်မူ၏။ ငါတို့သည်ကိုယ်တော်၏ဒဏ်ရာ ဒဏ်ချက်များအားဖြင့်အနာပျောက်လျက် ရှိကြ၏။-
25 For you were going astray like sheep; but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
၂၅သင်တို့သည်သိုးများကဲ့သို့လမ်းလွဲခဲ့ကြ သော်လည်း ယခုအခါ၌သင်တို့၏ဝိညာဉ် တို့ကိုထိန်းသိမ်းစောင့်ရှောက်တော်မူသော အရှင့်သိုးထိန်းကြီးထံသို့ပြန်လည်ရောက် ရှိကြလေပြီ။
