1 Corinthians 6
1 Dare any of you, having a matter against his neighbour, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the holy ones?
τολμα τισ υμων πραγμα εχων προσ τον ετερον κρινεσθαι επι των αδικων και ουχι επι των αγιων
2 Don’t you know that the holy ones will judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
ουκ οιδατε οτι οι αγιοι τον κοσμον κρινουσιν και ει εν υμιν κρινεται ο κοσμοσ αναξιοι εστε κριτηριων ελαχιστων
3 Don’t you know that we will judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?
ουκ οιδατε οτι αγγελουσ κρινουμεν μητι γε βιωτικα
4 If then you have to judge things pertaining to this life, do you set them to judge who are of no account in the assembly?
βιωτικα μεν ουν κριτηρια εαν εχητε τουσ εξουθενημενουσ εν τη εκκλησια τουτουσ καθιζετε
5 I say this to move you to shame. Isn’t there even one wise man amongst you who would be able to decide between his brothers?
προσ εντροπην υμιν λεγω ουτωσ ουκ ενι εν υμιν σοφοσ ουδε εισ οσ δυνησεται διακριναι ανα μεσον του αδελφου αυτου
6 But brother goes to law with brother, and that before unbelievers!
αλλα αδελφοσ μετα αδελφου κρινεται και τουτο επι απιστων
7 Therefore it is already altogether a defect in you that you have lawsuits one with another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded?
ηδη μεν ουν ολωσ ηττημα υμιν εστιν οτι κριματα εχετε μεθ εαυτων δια τι ουχι μαλλον αδικεισθε δια τι ουχι μαλλον αποστερεισθε
8 No, but you yourselves do wrong and defraud, and that against your brothers.
αλλα υμεισ αδικειτε και αποστερειτε και ταυτα αδελφουσ
9 Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals,
η ουκ οιδατε οτι αδικοι βασιλειαν θεου ου κληρονομησουσιν μη πλανασθε ουτε πορνοι ουτε ειδωλολατραι ουτε μοιχοι ουτε μαλακοι ουτε αρσενοκοιται
10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom.
ουτε πλεονεκται ουτε κλεπται ουτε μεθυσοι ου λοιδοροι ουχ αρπαγεσ βασιλειαν θεου ου κληρονομησουσιν
11 Some of you were such, but you were washed. You were sanctified. You were justified in the name of the Lord Yeshua, and in the Spirit of our God.
και ταυτα τινεσ ητε αλλα απελουσασθε αλλα ηγιασθητε αλλ εδικαιωθητε εν τω ονοματι του κυριου ιησου και εν τω πνευματι του θεου ημων
12 “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are expedient. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be brought under the power of anything.
παντα μοι εξεστιν αλλ ου παντα συμφερει παντα μοι εξεστιν αλλ ουκ εγω εξουσιασθησομαι υπο τινοσ
13 “Foods for the belly, and the belly for foods,” but God will bring to nothing both it and them. But the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
τα βρωματα τη κοιλια και η κοιλια τοισ βρωμασιν ο δε θεοσ και ταυτην και ταυτα καταργησει το δε σωμα ου τη πορνεια αλλα τω κυριω και ο κυριοσ τω σωματι
14 Now God raised up the Lord, and will also raise us up by his power.
ο δε θεοσ και τον κυριον ηγειρεν και ημασ εξεγερει δια τησ δυναμεωσ αυτου
15 Don’t you know that your bodies are members of Messiah? Shall I then take the members of Messiah and make them members of a prostitute? May it never be!
ουκ οιδατε οτι τα σωματα υμων μελη χριστου εστιν αρασ ουν τα μελη του χριστου ποιησω πορνησ μελη μη γενοιτο
16 Or don’t you know that he who is joined to a prostitute is one body? For, “The two”, he says, “will become one flesh.”
ουκ οιδατε οτι ο κολλωμενοσ τη πορνη εν σωμα εστιν εσονται γαρ φησιν οι δυο εισ σαρκα μιαν
17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.
ο δε κολλωμενοσ τω κυριω εν πνευμα εστιν
18 Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin that a man does is outside the body,” but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
φευγετε την πορνειαν παν αμαρτημα ο εαν ποιηση ανθρωποσ εκτοσ του σωματοσ εστιν ο δε πορνευων εισ το ιδιον σωμα αμαρτανει
19 Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,
η ουκ οιδατε οτι το σωμα υμων ναοσ του εν υμιν αγιου πνευματοσ εστιν ου εχετε απο θεου και ουκ εστε εαυτων
20 for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
ηγορασθητε γαρ τιμησ δοξασατε δη τον θεον εν τω σωματι υμων και εν τω πνευματι υμων ατινα εστιν του θεου
