< 1 Corinthians 5 >

1 It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality amongst you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named amongst the Gentiles, that one has his father’s wife.
Nnansa yi, wɔkeka sɛ adwaman a morebɔ wɔ asafo no mu no yɛ hu a abosonsomfoɔ mpo renyɛ saa. Mate mpo sɛ obi afa nʼagya yere.
2 You are arrogant, and didn’t mourn instead, that he who had done this deed might be removed from amongst you.
Na ɛbɛyɛ dɛn na moatumi ahoahoa mo ho? Adɛn enti na ɛnsɛ sɛ mo werɛ ho wɔ ho na mompam saa onipa no mfiri mo mu.
3 For I most certainly, as being absent in body but present in spirit, have already, as though I were present, judged him who has done this thing.
Ɛwom sɛ me deɛ, me ne mo ntam ɛkwan ware, nanso, mewɔ mo nkyɛn honhom mu. Yɛn Awurade Yesu din mu, mabu onipa a ɔyɛɛ afideɛ yi atɛn dada te sɛ deɛ mewɔ mo nkyɛn ara pɛ.
4 In the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, when you are gathered together with my spirit with the power of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah,
Mohyia na meka mo ho wɔ honhom mu a, Awurade Yesu tumi a ɛka yɛn ho no enti,
5 you are to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Yeshua.
ɛsɛ sɛ mode saa onipa no ma ɔbonsam na ɔsɛe ne onipadua no na Awurade da no duru a, wagye ne honhom nkwa.
6 Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?
Ɛnsɛ sɛ mohoahoa mo ho. Monim sɛ, “Mmɔka kakra bi na ɛma mmɔre no tu.”
7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Messiah, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.
Ɛsɛ sɛ moyi saa bɔne mmɔreka dada yi firi mo mu na moayɛ kronn. Ɛba saa a, mobɛyɛ sɛ mmɔre foforɔ a mmɔreka nni mu sɛdeɛ menim mo sɛ mote dada no. Afei a wɔde Kristo a ɔyɛ yɛn Twam Afahyɛ Odwan no abɔ afɔdeɛ no, yɛn Twam Afahyɛ no aduru so.
8 Therefore let’s keep the feast, not with old yeast, neither with the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
Yei enti, mommma yɛmmfa mmɔreka dada a ɛyɛ bɔne no nni afahyɛ no, na mmom, yɛmfa burodo a mmɔreka nni mu na ɛyɛ kronn no nni afahyɛ no.
9 I wrote to you in my letter to have no company with sexual sinners;
Krataa a metwerɛɛ mo no, mekaa wɔ mu sɛ mommfa mo ho mmɔ adwamanfoɔ ho.
10 yet not at all meaning with the sexual sinners of this world, or with the covetous and extortionists, or with idolaters, for then you would have to leave the world.
Menkyerɛ ewiase yi adwamanfoɔ anaa aniberefoɔ anaa akorɔmfoɔ anaa wɔn a wɔsom ahoni. Sɛ wompɛ sɛ wo ne yeinom bɔ a, na ɛsɛ sɛ wofiri ewiase koraa.
11 But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortionist. Don’t even eat with such a person.
Deɛ mekyerɛ ne sɛ, mommfa mo ho mmɔ onipa a ɔfrɛ ne ho sɛ onua nanso ɔbɔ adwaman anaa ɔyɛ oniberefoɔ anaa ɔsom ahoni anaa ɔkɔnkɔnsani anaa ɔkɔwensani anaa ɔkorɔmfoɔ. Onipa a ɔte saa no, mo ne no nntena ase nto nsa nnidi.
12 For what do I have to do with also judging those who are outside? Don’t you judge those who are within?
Adɛn enti na ɛsɛ sɛ mebu wɔn a wɔnka asafo no ho atɛn? Ɛnyɛ wɔn a wɔwɔ asafo no mu mmom na ɛsɛ sɛ mobu wɔn atɛn?
13 But those who are outside, God judges. “Put away the wicked man from amongst yourselves.”
Onyankopɔn na ɔbɛbu wɔn a wɔnni asafo no mu atɛn, sɛdeɛ Atwerɛsɛm no ka sɛ, “Monyi onipa ɔbɔnefoɔ no mfiri mo mu.”
