< 1 Corinthians 4 >

1 So let a man think of us as Messiah’s servants and stewards of God’s mysteries.
Jalo Apolose le nna re tshwanetse go le bega re le batlhanka ba ga Keresete ba ba abang tshegofatso ya Modimo ka go tlhalosa diphiri tsa one.
2 Here, moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.
Jaanong selo se se botlhokwa kaga motlhanka ke gore a dire fela jaaka mong wa gagwe a mmolelela.
3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by a human court. Yes, I don’t even judge my own self.
Lwa reng ka ga me?
4 For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord.
Maikutlo a me a bonala sentle, mme le fa seo e se sesupo sa bofelo, ke Morena ka boene yo o tshwanetseng go ntshekatsheka a bo a nkakanyetsa.
5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.
6 Now these things, brothers, I have in a figure transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, that in us you might learn not to think beyond the things which are written, that none of you be puffed up against one another.
Ga lo a tshwanela go ikgantsha ka mongwe wa baruti ba Modimo go feta ba bangwe.
7 For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn’t receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?
8 You are already filled. You have already become rich. You have come to reign without us. Yes, and I wish that you did reign, that we also might reign with you!
9 For I think that God has displayed us, the emissaries, last of all, like men sentenced to death. For we are made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and men.
Ka nako tse dingwe ke akanya gore Modimo o re beile baaposetoloi kwa moragorago jaaka magolegwa a a tlogang a bolawa, gore kwa bofelong re tle re dirwe segakgamalelwa sa popelelo ya bafenyi, gore re tle re bonwe ke batho le baengele.
10 We are fools for Messiah’s sake, but you are wise in Messiah. We are weak, but you are strong. You have honour, but we have dishonour.
Re bokoa, ee mme e seng lona! Lo tlotlegile thata, fa rona re tshegwa.
11 Even to this present hour we hunger, thirst, are naked, are beaten, and have no certain dwelling place.
Go fitlhelela jaanong, re tshwerwe ke tlala le lenyora, re bile ga re na diaparo tse di lekaneng go re thuthafatsa. Re ragakilwe re sena magae a e leng a rona.
12 We toil, working with our own hands. When people curse us, we bless. Being persecuted, we endure.
Re dirile ka letsapa le legolo ka diatla tsa rona gore re tshele. Re segofaditse ba ba neng ba re hutsa. Re ne ra nna pelotelele mo go ba ba neng ba re tlhokofatsa.
13 Being defamed, we entreat. We are made as the filth of the world, the dirt wiped off by all, even until now.
Re fetotse ka bonolo fa dilo tse di bosula di buiwa ka rona, lefa go ntse jalo go fitlha mo lobakeng lo re tshwana le leswe le le ka fa tlase ga lonao, jaaka matlakala.
14 I don’t write these things to shame you, but to admonish you as my beloved children.
Ga ke kwale dilo tse go lo tlhabisa ditlhong, fa e se go lo tlhagisa le go lo gakolola jaaka bana ba ba rategang.
15 For though you have ten thousand tutors in Messiah, you don’t have many fathers. For in Messiah Yeshua, I became your father through the Good News.
16 I beg you therefore, be imitators of me.
Jalo ke lo kopa go latela sekao sa me, mme lo dire jaaka ke dira.
17 Because of this I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways which are in Messiah, even as I teach everywhere in every assembly.
Ke gone ka moo re rometseng Timotheo kwa go lona, go lo thusa go dira se. Gonne ke mongwe wa ba ke ba gapetseng mo go Keresete, ngwana yo o rategang yo o ikanyegang mo Moreneng.
18 Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you.
Ke a itse gore bangwe ba lona ba tlaa ikgogomosa, ba gopola gore ke tshaba go tla go dira le lona.
19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord is willing. And I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power.
Mme ke tlaa tla, le gone ka bonako, fa Morena a ntetla, mme ke tlaa bona gore a baikgantshi ba, a ke babalabadi fela kgotsa a ruri ba na le nonofo ya Modimo.
20 For God’s Kingdom is not in word, but in power.
Bogosi jwa Modimo ga se go bua fela. Ke go tshela ka nonofo ya Modimo.
21 What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?
Lo tlhopha gofe? A ke ke tle ka kotlhao le komano kgotsa ke tle ka lorato le bonolo?
