1 Corinthians 2
1 When I came to you, brothers, I didn’t come with excellence of speech or of wisdom, proclaiming to you the testimony of God.
So kam auch ich, Brüder, als ich zu euch kam zur Verkündigung des Zeugnisses von Gott, nicht als Meister der Rede oder Weisheit.
2 For I determined not to know anything amongst you except Yeshua the Messiah and him crucified.
Mit keinem andern Wissen wollte ich unter euch treten als dem von Jesus Christus und zwar dem gekreuzigten.
3 I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling.
Und persönlich war ich bei euch in Schwachheit und Furcht und großem Zagen,
4 My speech and my proclaiming were not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
und mein Wort und Verkünden stand nicht auf Ueberredungskunst der Weisheit, sondern auf dem Erweise von Geist und Kraft.
5 that your faith wouldn’t stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
Damit euer Glaube nicht stehe auf Menschen-Weisheit, sondern auf Gottes-Kraft.
6 We speak wisdom, however, amongst those who are full grown, yet a wisdom not of this world nor of the rulers of this world who are coming to nothing. (aiōn g165)
Ja, wir reden Weisheit, wo wir es mit Gereiften zu thun haben, doch nicht die Weisheit dieser Welt, oder der Herrscher dieser Welt, die da zu nichte werden. (aiōn g165)
7 But we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom that has been hidden, which God foreordained before the worlds for our glory, (aiōn g165)
Sondern was wir reden, ist Gottes Weisheit im Geheimnis, die verborgene, welche Gott verordnet hat vor aller Zeit zu unserer Herrlichkeit, (aiōn g165)
8 which none of the rulers of this world has known. For had they known it, they wouldn’t have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn g165)
die keiner von den Herrschern dieser Welt erkannt hat: denn wenn sie sie erkannt hätten, so hätten sie den Herrn der Herrlichkeit nicht gekreuzigt. (aiōn g165)
9 But as it is written, “Things which an eye didn’t see, and an ear didn’t hear, which didn’t enter into the heart of man, these God has prepared for those who love him.”
Vielmehr gilt davon das Wort: was kein Auge gesehen und kein Ohr gehört hat, und in keines Menschen Herz gekommen ist, was Gott bereitet hat denen, die ihn lieben.
10 But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
Uns aber hat es Gott enthüllt durch den Geist, denn der Geist erforscht alle Dinge, selbst die Tiefen Gottes.
11 For who amongst men knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God except God’s Spirit.
Unter Menschen - wer von ihnen kennt das Innere eines Menschen, als der Geist des Menschen, der in ihm ist? So hat auch noch niemand das Innere Gottes ergründet, als der Geist Gottes.
12 But we received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God.
Doch wir haben nicht den Geist der Welt empfangen, sondern den Geist, der aus Gott ist, um damit zu verstehen, was uns von Gott geschenkt ist,
13 We also speak these things, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things.
und davon reden wir auch nicht in Schulworten menschlicher Weisheit, sondern in solchen, wie sie der Geist lehrt, geistliche Sprache für geistliche Dinge.
14 Now the natural man doesn’t receive the things of God’s Spirit, for they are foolishness to him; and he can’t know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Ein seelischer Mensch freilich nimmt nicht an, was vom Geist Gottes ist; es ist ihm Thorheit, er vermag es nicht zu verstehen, weil es geistlich ergründet werden will.
15 But he who is spiritual discerns all things, and he himself is to be judged by no one.
Der geistliche Mensch aber ergründet alles, er selbst aber wird von niemand ergründet.
16 “For who has known the mind of the Lord that he should instruct him?” But we have Messiah’s mind.
Denn wer hat den Verstand des Herrn erkannt, ihn zu meistern? Wir haben aber den Verstand Christus'.
