1 Corinthians 13

1 If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don’t have love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.

மர்த்யஸ்வர்கீ³யாணாம்’ பா⁴ஷா பா⁴ஷமாணோ(அ)ஹம்’ யதி³ ப்ரேமஹீநோ ப⁴வேயம்’ தர்ஹி வாத³கதாலஸ்வரூபோ நிநாத³காரிபே⁴ரீஸ்வரூபஸ்²ச ப⁴வாமி|

2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don’t have love, I am nothing.

அபரஞ்ச யத்³யஹம் ஈஸ்²வரீயாதே³ஸா²ட்⁴ய​: ஸ்யாம்’ ஸர்வ்வாணி கு³ப்தவாக்யாநி ஸர்வ்வவித்³யாஞ்ச ஜாநீயாம்’ பூர்ணவிஸ்²வாஸ​: ஸந் ஸை²லாந் ஸ்தா²நாந்தரீகர்த்தும்’ ஸ²க்நுயாஞ்ச கிந்து யதி³ ப்ரேமஹீநோ ப⁴வேயம்’ தர்ஹ்யக³ணநீய ஏவ ப⁴வாமி|

3 If I give away all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burnt, but don’t have love, it profits me nothing.

அபரம்’ யத்³யஹம் அந்நதா³நேந ஸர்வ்வஸ்வம்’ த்யஜேயம்’ தா³ஹநாய ஸ்வஸ²ரீரம்’ ஸமர்பயேயஞ்ச கிந்து யதி³ ப்ரேமஹீநோ ப⁴வேயம்’ தர்ஹி தத்ஸர்வ்வம்’ மத³ர்த²ம்’ நிஷ்ப²லம்’ ப⁴வதி|

4 Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud,

ப்ரேம சிரஸஹிஷ்ணு ஹிதைஷி ச, ப்ரேம நிர்த்³வேஷம் அஸ²ட²ம்’ நிர்க³ர்வ்வஞ்ச|

5 doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil;

அபரம்’ தத் குத்ஸிதம்’ நாசரதி, ஆத்மசேஷ்டாம்’ ந குருதே ஸஹஸா ந க்ருத்⁴யதி பராநிஷ்டம்’ ந சிந்தயதி,

6 doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;

அத⁴ர்ம்மே ந துஷ்யதி ஸத்ய ஏவ ஸந்துஷ்யதி|

7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.

தத் ஸர்வ்வம்’ திதிக்ஷதே ஸர்வ்வத்ர விஸ்²வஸிதி ஸர்வ்வத்ர ப⁴த்³ரம்’ ப்ரதீக்ஷதே ஸர்வ்வம்’ ஸஹதே ச|

8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are various languages, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away with.

ப்ரேம்நோ லோப​: கதா³பி ந ப⁴விஷ்யதி, ஈஸ்²வரீயாதே³ஸ²கத²நம்’ லோப்ஸ்யதே பரபா⁴ஷாபா⁴ஷணம்’ நிவர்த்திஷ்யதே ஜ்ஞாநமபி லோபம்’ யாஸ்யதி|

9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part;

யதோ(அ)ஸ்மாகம்’ ஜ்ஞாநம்’ க²ண்ட³மாத்ரம் ஈஸ்²வரீயாதே³ஸ²கத²நமபி க²ண்ட³மாத்ரம்’|

10 but when that which is complete has come, then that which is partial will be done away with.

கிந்த்வஸ்மாஸு ஸித்³த⁴தாம்’ க³தேஷு தாநி க²ண்ட³மாத்ராணி லோபம்’ யாஸ்யந்தே|

11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child. Now that I have become a man, I have put away childish things.

பா³ல்யகாலே(அ)ஹம்’ பா³ல இவாபா⁴ஷே பா³ல இவாசிந்தயஞ்ச கிந்து யௌவநே ஜாதே தத்ஸர்வ்வம்’ பா³ல்யாசரணம்’ பரித்யக்தவாந்|

12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, even as I was also fully known.

இதா³நீம் அப்⁴ரமத்⁴யேநாஸ்பஷ்டம்’ த³ர்ஸ²நம் அஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்லப்⁴யதே கிந்து ததா³ ஸாக்ஷாத் த³ர்ஸ²நம்’ லப்ஸ்யதே| அது⁴நா மம ஜ்ஞாநம் அல்பிஷ்ட²ம்’ கிந்து ததா³ஹம்’ யதா²வக³ம்யஸ்ததை²வாவக³தோ ப⁴விஷ்யாமி|

13 But now faith, hope, and love remain—these three. The greatest of these is love.

இதா³நீம்’ ப்ரத்யய​: ப்ரத்யாஸா² ப்ரேம ச த்ரீண்யேதாநி திஷ்ட²ந்தி தேஷாம்’ மத்⁴யே ச ப்ரேம ஸ்²ரேஷ்ட²ம்’|
