Psalms 73
1 A Psalm by Asaph. Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart.
೧ದುಷ್ಟರ ಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಭ್ರಷ್ಟರಾಗಬಾರದೆಂಬ ಬೋಧನೆ ದೇವರು ನಿರ್ಮಲಚಿತ್ತರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ದಯಾಪರನೇ ಹೌದು.
2 But as for me, my feet were almost gone. My steps had nearly slipped.
೨ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳು ಜಾರಿದವುಗಳೇ; ನನ್ನ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳು ತಪ್ಪಿದವುಗಳೇ.
3 For I was envious of the arrogant, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
೩ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ದುಷ್ಟರ ಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಸೊಕ್ಕಿನವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಉರಿಗೊಂಡೆನು.
4 For there are no struggles in their death, but their strength is firm.
೪ಅವರ ಮರಣವು ನಿರ್ಬಾಧಕವಾಗಿದೆ; ಅವರ ದೇಹವು ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದೆ.
5 They are free from burdens of men, neither are they plagued like other men.
೫ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಭಾಗಿಗಳಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಇತರರಿಗೆ ತಗುಲುವಂತೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಂಟುರೋಗವೂ ತಗುಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
6 Therefore pride is like a chain around their neck. Violence covers them like a garment.
೬ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಗರ್ವವು ಕಂಠಮಾಲೆಯಾಗಿದೆ; ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರವು ಉಡುಪಾಗಿದೆ.
7 Their eyes bulge with fat. Their minds pass the limits of conceit.
೭ಕೊಬ್ಬಿನಿಂದ ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಉಬ್ಬಿಕೊಂಡಿವೆ; ಅವರ ದುಷ್ಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳು ತುಂಬಿತುಳುಕುತ್ತವೆ.
8 They scoff and speak with malice. In arrogance, they threaten oppression.
೮ಹಾಸ್ಯಮಾಡುವವರಾಗಿ ಕೆಡುಕಿನ ವಿಷಯ ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರನಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಕೊಚ್ಚುತ್ತಾರೆ.
9 They have set their mouth in the heavens. Their tongue walks through the earth.
೯ತಾವು ಮೇಲುಲೋಕದವರೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬಾಯಿಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರ ಮಾತೇ ಮುಂದು.
10 Therefore their people return to them, and they drink up waters of abundance.
೧೦ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಜನರು ಅವರ ಪಕ್ಷವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವರು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ತಪ್ಪನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.
11 They say, “How does God know? Is there knowledge in the Most High?”
೧೧ಅವರು “ದೇವರು ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವುದೆಲ್ಲಿ? ಪರಾತ್ಪರನಾದ ದೇವರು ಚಿಂತಿಸುವದುಂಟೋ” ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
12 Behold, these are the wicked. Being always at ease, they increase in riches.
೧೨ನೋಡಿರಿ, ದುಷ್ಟರು ಇಂಥವರೇ; ಅವರು ಸದಾ ಸುಖದಿಂದಿದ್ದು ಸ್ಥಿತಿವಂತರಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.
13 Surely I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocence,
೧೩ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಲಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೂ, ಶುದ್ಧತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈತೊಳಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವೇ ಸರಿ.
14 For all day long I have been plagued, and punished every morning.
೧೪ನಾನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಪೀಡಿತನಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರತಿದಿನವೂ ದಂಡಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೇನಲ್ಲಾ.
15 If I had said, “I will speak thus”, behold, I would have betrayed the generation of your children.
೧೫ನಾನು ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಬಾಯಿಬಿಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಭಕ್ತಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ದ್ರೋಹಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು.
16 When I tried to understand this, it was too painful for me—
೧೬ನಾನು ಇದನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಎಷ್ಟು ಚಿಂತಿಸಿದರೂ ಅದು ಒಂದು ಕಷ್ಟಕರವಾದ ಮರ್ಮವೆಂದು ತೋಚಿತು.
17 until I entered God’s sanctuary, and considered their latter end.
೧೭ಆದರೆ ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವರ ಅಂತ್ಯಾವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಆಲೋಚಿಸಿದಾಗ ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಯಿತು.
18 Surely you set them in slippery places. You throw them down to destruction.
೧೮ಹೌದು, ನೀನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಪಾಯಕರ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟು, ಬೀಳಿಸಿ, ನಾಶಮಾಡಿಬಿಡುತ್ತೀ.
19 How they are suddenly destroyed! They are completely swept away with terrors.
೧೯ಅವರು ನಿಮಿಷಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಹಾಳಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಭಯಂಕರ ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಂಹಾರವಾಗಿ ಮುಗಿದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.
20 As a dream when one wakes up, so, Lord, when you awake, you will despise their fantasies.
೨೦ಎಚ್ಚರವಾದವನು ಕನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ಹಾಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನು ಏಳುವಾಗ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಾಯಾರೂಪರೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸುತ್ತೀ.
21 For my soul was grieved. I was embittered in my heart.
೨೧ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ನೊಂದುಹೋಗಿತ್ತು; ಆಂತರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲಗು ನೆಟ್ಟಂತಿತ್ತು.
22 I was so senseless and ignorant. I was a brute beast before you.
೨೨ನಾನು ವಿವೇಕಹೀನ ತಿಳಿವಳಿಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲದವನಂತೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇವಲ ಪಶುವೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದೆನು.
23 Nevertheless, I am continually with you. You have held my right hand.
೨೩ಆದರೂ ಸದಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ. ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಬಲಗೈಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು,
24 You will guide me with your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
೨೪ನಿನ್ನ ಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿ ತರುವಾಯ ಮಹಿಮೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿ.
25 Whom do I have in heaven? There is no one on earth whom I desire besides you.
೨೫ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ನೀನಲ್ಲದೆ ಮತ್ತಾರು ಅವಶ್ಯ? ಇಹಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನಲ್ಲದೆ ಇನ್ನಾರನ್ನೂ ಬಯಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
26 My flesh and my heart fails, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
೨೬ತನುಮನಗಳು ಕ್ಷಯಿಸಿದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಬಲವು ನನ್ನ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಪಾಲೂ ದೇವರೇ.
27 For, behold, those who are far from you shall perish. You have destroyed all those who are unfaithful to you.
೨೭ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟವರು ನಾಶವಾಗುವರು; ನಿನಗೆ ದ್ರೋಹ ಮಾಡಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀ.
28 But it is good for me to come close to God. I have made the Lord Yahweh my refuge, that I may tell of all your works.
೨೮ನನಗಾದರೋ ದೇವರ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯವೇ ಭಾಗ್ಯವು. ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವೆನು.
