< Psalms 3 >

1 A Psalm by David, when he fled from Absalom his son. Yahweh, how my adversaries have increased! Many are those who rise up against me.
Dawid dwom a ɔtoeɛ ɛberɛ a ɔredwane afiri ne babarima Absalom anim. Ao Awurade, hwɛ sɛdeɛ mʼatamfoɔ dɔɔso fa! Dodoɔ no ara na wɔsɔre tia me!
2 Many there are who say of my soul, “There is no help for him in God.” (Selah)
Bebree no ara ka fa me ho sɛ, “Onyankopɔn rennye no”.
3 But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.
Nanso, Ao Awurade, woyɛ akokyɛm a atwa me ho ahyia wohyɛ me animuonyam na wopagya me ti.
4 I cry to Yahweh with my voice, and he answers me out of his holy hill. (Selah)
Meteam su frɛ Awurade, na ɔgye me so firi ne bepɔ kronkron no so.
5 I laid myself down and slept. I awakened, for Yahweh sustains me.
Metɔ hɔ na meda a, menyane bio, ɛfiri sɛ Awurade kora me so.
6 I will not be afraid of tens of thousands of people who have set themselves against me on every side.
Merensuro atamfoɔ mpem mpem a wɔatwa me ho ahyia no.
7 Arise, Yahweh! Save me, my God! For you have struck all of my enemies on the cheek bone. You have broken the teeth of the wicked.
Sɔre, Ao Awurade! Gye me, Ao me Onyankopɔn! Bobɔ mʼatamfoɔ nyinaa apantan; na tutu amumuyɛfoɔ se.
8 Salvation belongs to Yahweh. May your blessing be on your people. (Selah)
Awurade hɔ na ɔgyeɛ firi ba. Ma wo nhyira mmra wo nkurɔfoɔ so.
