Psalms 135
1 Praise Yah! Praise Yahweh’s name! Praise him, you servants of Yahweh,
೧ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ! ಯೆಹೋವನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ. ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸೇವಕರೇ,
2 you who stand in Yahweh’s house, in the courts of our God’s house.
೨ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಅಂಗಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುವವರೇ, ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ತಿಸಿರಿ.
3 Praise Yah, for Yahweh is good. Sing praises to his name, for that is pleasant.
೩ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ! ಯೆಹೋವನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನು. ಆತನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿರಿ; ಆತನು ಕೃಪಾಪೂರ್ಣನು.
4 For Yah has chosen Jacob for himself, Israel for his own possession.
೪ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯಾಕೋಬನ ವಂಶದವರನ್ನು ತನಗಾಗಿಯೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಕೀಯ ಜನರನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನಲ್ಲಾ.
5 For I know that Yahweh is great, that our Lord is above all gods.
೫ಯೆಹೋವನು ದೊಡ್ಡವನೆಂದೂ, ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನವನೆಂದೂ ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
6 Whatever Yahweh pleased, that he has done, in heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps.
೬ಯೆಹೋವನು ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಸಮುದ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಬೇರೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜಲರಾಶಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತನಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
7 He causes the clouds to rise from the ends of the earth. He makes lightnings with the rain. He brings the wind out of his treasuries.
೭ಆತನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಮೋಡಗಳನ್ನು ಮೇಲೇರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಮಳೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಿಂಚನ್ನು ಹೊಳೆಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ತನ್ನ ಉಗ್ರಾಣದಿಂದ ಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ಬೀಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
8 He struck the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and animal.
೮ಆತನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಪಶುಗಳವರೆಗೂ, ಚೊಚ್ಚಲುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದನು.
9 He sent signs and wonders into the middle of you, Egypt, on Pharaoh, and on all his servants.
೯ಐಗುಪ್ತವೇ, ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಫರೋಹನಿಗೂ, ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೂ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನು, ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದನು.
10 He struck many nations, and killed mighty kings—
೧೦ಆತನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು; ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ರಾಜರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದನು.
11 Sihon king of the Amorites, Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan—
೧೧ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನನೂ, ಬಾಷಾನಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಓಗನೂ ಇದ್ದರು. ಆತನು ಕಾನಾನ್ ದೇಶದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
12 and gave their land for a heritage, a heritage to Israel, his people.
೧೨ಅವರ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು; ಆತನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗೆ ಅದು ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.
13 Your name, Yahweh, endures forever; your renown, Yahweh, throughout all generations.
೧೩ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ನಾಮವು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದದ್ದು; ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನು ತಲತಲಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ಮರಿಸಲು ಯೋಗ್ಯನಾಗಿರುತ್ತೀ.
14 For Yahweh will judge his people and have compassion on his servants.
೧೪ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಯ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವನು, ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಕನಿಕರಿಸುವನು.
15 The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
೧೫ಅನ್ಯಜನಗಳ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಬಂಗಾರದವುಗಳೇ; ಅವು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಕೈಕೆಲಸವಷ್ಟೇ.
16 They have mouths, but they can’t speak. They have eyes, but they can’t see.
೧೬ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಾಯಿದ್ದರೂ ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಕಣ್ಣಿದ್ದರೂ ನೋಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,
17 They have ears, but they can’t hear, neither is there any breath in their mouths.
೧೭ಕಿವಿಯಿದ್ದರೂ ಕೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವುಗಳ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ವಾಸವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
18 Those who make them will be like them, yes, everyone who trusts in them.
೧೮ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರು, ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಡುವವರು ಅವುಗಳಂತೆಯೇ.
19 House of Israel, praise Yahweh! House of Aaron, praise Yahweh!
೧೯ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ ಮನೆತನದವರೇ, ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿರಿ; ಆರೋನನ ಮನೆತನದವರೇ, ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿರಿ.
20 House of Levi, praise Yahweh! You who fear Yahweh, praise Yahweh!
೨೦ಲೇವಿಯ ಮನೆತನದವರೇ, ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿರಿ; ಯೆಹೋವನ ಭಕ್ತರೇ, ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿರಿ.
21 Blessed be Yahweh from Zion, who dwells in Jerusalem. Praise Yah!
೨೧ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಚೀಯೋನಿನ ದೇವರಿಗೆ, ಕೀರ್ತಿ ಉಂಟಾಗಲಿ, ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ!
