Numbers 10
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
| خداوند به موسی فرمود: |
2 “Make two trumpets of silver. You shall make them of beaten work. You shall use them for the calling of the congregation and for the journeying of the camps.
| «دو شیپور از نقره چکش‌کاری شده درست کن و آنها را برای جمع کردن قوم اسرائیل و نیز برای کوچ دادن اردو به کار ببر. |
3 When they blow them, all the congregation shall gather themselves to you at the door of the Tent of Meeting.
| هر وقت هر دو شیپور نواخته شوند، قوم بدانند که باید دم مدخل خیمهٔ ملاقات جمع شوند. |
4 If they blow just one, then the princes, the heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves to you.
| ولی اگر یک شیپور نواخته شود، آنگاه فقط سران قبایل اسرائیل پیش تو بیایند. |
5 When you blow an alarm, the camps that lie on the east side shall go forward.
| «وقتی شیپور کوچ نواخته شود، قبیله‌هایی که در سمت شرقی خیمهٔ عبادت چادر زده‌اند باید حرکت کنند. |
6 When you blow an alarm the second time, the camps that lie on the south side shall go forward. They shall blow an alarm for their journeys.
| بار دوم که شیپور نواخته شود، قبیله‌های سمت جنوب راه بیفتند. برای کوچاندن قوم باید شیپور را با صدای تیز نواخت. |
7 But when the assembly is to be gathered together, you shall blow, but you shall not sound an alarm.
| اما وقتی برای جمع کردن جماعت شیپور را می‌نوازید باید با صدایی دیگر بنوازید. |
8 “The sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets. This shall be to you for a statute forever throughout your generations.
| فقط کاهنان نسل هارون مجازند شیپور بنوازند. این یک حکم دائمی است که باید نسل اندر نسل آن را بجا آورند. |
9 When you go to war in your land against the adversary who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets. Then you will be remembered before Yahweh your God, and you will be saved from your enemies.
| «وقتی در سرزمین موعود، دشمن به شما حمله کند و شما در دفاع از خود با آنها وارد جنگ شوید، شیپورها را بلند بنوازید تا یهوه خدایتان شما را به یاد آورد و از چنگ دشمنانتان نجات دهد. |
10 “Also in the day of your gladness, and in your set feasts, and in the beginnings of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be to you for a memorial before your God. I am Yahweh your God.”
| در روزهای شاد خود نیز این شیپورها را بنوازید، یعنی در موقع برگزاری عیدها و اول هر ماه که قربانیهای سوختنی و قربانیهای سلامتی تقدیم می‌کنید و من شما را به یاد خواهم آورد. من خداوند، خدای شما هستم.» |
11 In the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle of the covenant.
| در روز بیستم ماه دوم از سال دوم، بعد از بیرون آمدن بنی‌اسرائیل از مصر، ابر از بالای خیمهٔ عبادت حرکت نمود. |
12 The children of Israel went forward on their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud stayed in the wilderness of Paran.
| پس قوم اسرائیل از صحرای سینا کوچ کرده، به دنبال ابر به راه افتادند تا اینکه ابر در صحرای فاران از حرکت بازایستاد. |
13 They first went forward according to the commandment of Yahweh by Moses.
| پس از آنکه موسی دستورهای خداوند را در مورد کوچ قوم دریافت کرد این نخستین سفر ایشان بود. |
14 First, the standard of the camp of the children of Judah went forward according to their armies. Nahshon the son of Amminadab was over his army.
| سربازان قبیلهٔ یهودا زیر پرچم بخش خود به رهبری نحشون پسر عمیناداب، پیشاپیش قوم اسرائیل حرکت می‌کردند. |
15 Nethanel the son of Zuar was over the army of the tribe of the children of Issachar.
| پشت سر آنها، سربازان قبیلهٔ یساکار به رهبری نتنائیل پسر صوعَر در حرکت بودند |
16 Eliab the son of Helon was over the army of the tribe of the children of Zebulun.
| و بعد از آنها سربازان قبیلهٔ زبولون به رهبری الیاب پسر حیلون. |
17 The tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari, who bore the tabernacle, went forward.
| مردان بنی‌جرشون و بنی‌مراری از قبیلهٔ لاوی، خیمهٔ عبادت را که جمع شده بود بر دوش گذاشتند و به دنبال قبیلهٔ زبولون به راه افتادند. |
18 The standard of the camp of Reuben went forward according to their armies. Elizur the son of Shedeur was over his army.
| پشت سر آنها، سربازان قبیلهٔ رئوبین زیر پرچم بخش خود به رهبری الیصور پسر شدیئور حرکت می‌کردند. |
19 Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai was over the army of the tribe of the children of Simeon.
| در صف بعدی، سربازان قبیلهٔ شمعون به رهبری شلومی‌ئیل پسر صوریشدای |
20 Eliasaph the son of Deuel was over the army of the tribe of the children of Gad.
| و پس از آنها، سربازان قبیلهٔ جاد به رهبری الیاساف پسر دعوئیل قرار داشتند. |
21 The Kohathites set forward, bearing the sanctuary. The others set up the tabernacle before they arrived.
| به دنبال آنها بنی‌قهات که اسباب و لوازم قدس را حمل می‌کردند در حرکت بودند. (بر پا سازی خیمهٔ عبادت در جایگاه جدید می‌بایستی پیش از رسیدن قهاتیان انجام می‌شد.) |
22 The standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim set forward according to their armies. Elishama the son of Ammihud was over his army.
| در صف بعدی سربازان قبیلهٔ افرایم بودند که زیر پرچم بخش خود به رهبری الیشمع پسر عمیهود حرکت می‌کردند. |
23 Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur was over the army of the tribe of the children of Manasseh.
| قبیلهٔ منسی به رهبری جملی‌ئیل پسر فدهصور |
24 Abidan the son of Gideoni was over the army of the tribe of the children of Benjamin.
| و قبیلهٔ بنیامین به رهبری ابیدان پسر جدعونی پشت سر آنها بودند. |
25 The standard of the camp of the children of Dan, which was the rear guard of all the camps, set forward according to their armies. Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai was over his army.
| آخر از همه، سربازان قبایل بخش دان زیر پرچم خود حرکت می‌کردند. سربازان قبیلهٔ دان به رهبری اخیعزر پسر عمیشدای، |
26 Pagiel the son of Ochran was over the army of the tribe of the children of Asher.
| سربازان قبیلهٔ اشیر به رهبری فجعی‌ئیل پسر عکران، |
27 Ahira the son of Enan was over the army of the tribe of the children of Naphtali.
| و سربازان قبیلهٔ نفتالی به رهبری اخیرع پسر عینان به ترتیب در حرکت بودند. |
28 Thus were the travels of the children of Israel according to their armies; and they went forward.
| این بود ترتیب حرکت قبیله‌های اسرائیل با سربازانشان در هنگام کوچ کردن. |
29 Moses said to Hobab, the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law, “We are journeying to the place of which Yahweh said, ‘I will give it to you.’ Come with us, and we will treat you well; for Yahweh has spoken good concerning Israel.”
| روزی موسی به برادر زنش حوباب پسر رعوئیل مدیانی گفت: «ما عازم سرزمینی هستیم که خداوند وعدهٔ آن را به ما داده است. تو هم همراه ما بیا و ما در حق تو نیکی خواهیم کرد، زیرا خداوند وعده‌های عالی به قوم اسرائیل داده است.» |
30 He said to him, “I will not go; but I will depart to my own land, and to my relatives.”
| ولی برادر زنش جواب داد: «نه، من باید به سرزمین خود و نزد خویشانم برگردم.» |
31 Moses said, “Don’t leave us, please; because you know how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and you can be our eyes.
| موسی اصرار نموده، گفت: «پیش ما بمان، چون تو این بیابان را خوب می‌شناسی و راهنمای خوبی برای ما خواهی بود. |
32 It shall be, if you go with us—yes, it shall be—that whatever good Yahweh does to us, we will do the same to you.”
| اگر با ما بیایی، در تمام برکاتی که خداوند به ما می‌دهد شریک خواهی بود.» |
33 They set forward from the Mount of Yahweh three days’ journey. The ark of Yahweh’s covenant went before them three days’ journey, to seek out a resting place for them.
| پس از ترک کوه خداوند، مدت سه روز به سفر ادامه دادند در حالی که صندوق عهد پیشاپیش قبایل اسرائیل در حرکت بود تا مکانی برای توقف آنها انتخاب کند. |
34 The cloud of Yahweh was over them by day, when they set forward from the camp.
| هنگام روز بود که اردوگاه را ترک کردند و سفر خود را در پی حرکت ابر خداوند آغاز نمودند. |
35 When the ark went forward, Moses said, “Rise up, Yahweh, and let your enemies be scattered! Let those who hate you flee before you!”
| هرگاه صندوق عهد به حرکت در می‌آمد موسی ندا سر می‌داد: «برخیز ای خداوند تا دشمنانت پراکنده شوند و خصمانت از حضورت بگریزند.» |
36 When it rested, he said, “Return, Yahweh, to the ten thousands of the thousands of Israel.”
| و هرگاه صندوق عهد متوقف می‌شد، موسی می‌گفت: «ای خداوند نزد هزاران هزار اسرائیلی بازگرد.» |
