Matthew 25
1 “Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
Tehdy podobno bude království nebeské desíti pannám, kteréžto vzavše lampy své, vyšly proti ženichovi.
2 Five of them were foolish, and five were wise.
Pět pak z nich bylo opatrných, a pět bláznivých.
3 Those who were foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them,
Ty bláznivé vzavše lampy své, nevzaly s sebou oleje.
4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
Opatrné pak vzaly olej v nádobkách svých s lampami svými.
5 Now while the bridegroom delayed, they all slumbered and slept.
A když prodlíval ženich, zdřímaly všecky a zesnuly.
6 But at midnight there was a cry, ‘Behold! The bridegroom is coming! Come out to meet him!’
O půlnoci pak stal se křik: Aj, ženich jde, vyjděte proti němu.
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
Tedy vstaly všecky ty panny, a ozdobily lampy své.
8 The foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’
Bláznivé pak opatrným řekly: Udělte nám oleje svého, nebo lampy naše hasnou.
9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘What if there isn’t enough for us and you? You go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’
I odpověděly ty opatrné, řkouce: Aby se snad nám i vám nenedostalo. Jděte raději k prodavačům, a kupte sobě.
10 While they went away to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast, and the door was shut.
A když odešly kupovati, přišel ženich, a které hotovy byly, vešly s ním na svadbu. I zavříny jsou dvéře.
11 Afterward the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us.’
Potom pak přišly i ty druhé panny, řkouce: Pane, pane, otevři nám.
12 But he answered, ‘Most certainly I tell you, I don’t know you.’
A on odpověděv, řekl: Amen, pravím vám, neznámť vás.
13 Watch therefore, for you don’t know the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.
Bdětež tedy; nevíte zajisté dne ani hodiny, v kterou Syn člověka přijde.
14 “For it is like a man going into another country, who called his own servants and entrusted his goods to them.
Nebo jako člověk vycházeje na cestu, povolal služebníků svých, a poručil jim statek svůj.
15 To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his own ability. Then he went on his journey.
I dal jednomu pět hřiven, jinému pak dvě, a jinému jednu, každému podlé možnosti jeho, i odšel hned na cestu.
16 Immediately he who received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents.
Odšed pak ten, kterýž vzal pět hřiven, těžel jimi, i vydělal jiných pět hřiven.
17 In the same way, he also who got the two gained another two.
Též i ten, kterýž dvě, získal i on jiné dvě.
18 But he who received the one talent went away and dug in the earth and hid his lord’s money.
Ale ten, kterýž vzal jednu, odšed, zakopal ji v zemi, a skryl peníze pána svého.
19 “Now after a long time the lord of those servants came, and settled accounts with them.
Po mnohém pak času přišel pán těch služebníků, i činil s nimi počet.
20 He who received the five talents came and brought another five talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents. Behold, I have gained another five talents in addition to them.’
A přistoupiv ten, kterýž byl pět hřiven vzal, podal jiných pět hřiven, řka: Pane, pět hřiven dal jsi mi, aj, jiných pět hřiven získal jsem jimi.
21 “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
I řekl mu pán jeho: To dobře, služebníče dobrý a věrný, nad málem byl jsi věrný, nad mnohem tebe ustanovím. Vejdiž v radost pána svého.
22 “He also who got the two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents. Behold, I have gained another two talents in addition to them.’
Přistoupiv pak ten, kterýž byl dvě hřivně vzal, dí: Pane, dvě hřivně jsi mi dal, aj, jiné dvě hřivně získal jsem jimi.
23 “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things. I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
Řekl mu pán jeho: To dobře, služebníče dobrý a věrný, nad málem byl jsi věrný, nad mnohem tebe ustanovím. Vejdiž v radost pána svého.
24 “He also who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you that you are a hard man, reaping where you didn’t sow, and gathering where you didn’t scatter.
Přistoupiv pak i ten, kterýž vzal jednu hřivnu, řekl: Pane, věděl jsem, že jsi ty člověk přísný, žna, kde jsi nerozsíval, a zbíraje, kde jsi nerozsypal.
25 I was afraid, and went away and hid your talent in the earth. Behold, you have what is yours.’
I boje se, odšel jsem a skryl hřivnu tvou v zemi. Aj, teď máš, což tvého jest.
26 “But his lord answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant. You knew that I reap where I didn’t sow, and gather where I didn’t scatter.
A odpovídaje pán jeho, řekl mu: Služebníče zlý a lenivý, věděl jsi, že žnu, kdež jsem nerozsíval, a zbírám, kdež jsem nerozsypal.
27 You ought therefore to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received back my own with interest.
Protož měl jsi ty peníze mé dáti penězoměncům, a já přijda, byl bych vzal, což jest mého, s požitkem.
28 Take away therefore the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents.
Nu vezmětež od něho tu hřivnu, a dejte tomu, kterýž má deset hřiven.
29 For to everyone who has will be given, and he will have abundance, but from him who doesn’t have, even that which he has will be taken away.
(Nebo každému majícímu bude dáno, a bude více míti, od nemajícího pak i to, což má, bude odjato.)
30 Throw out the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
A toho neužitečného služebníka uvrzte do těch temností zevnitřních. Tamť bude pláč a škřipení zubů.
31 “But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory.
Když pak přijde Syn člověka v slávě své, a všickni svatí andělé s ním, tedy se posadí na trůnu velebnosti své,
32 Before him all the nations will be gathered, and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
A shromážděni budou před něj všickni národové. I rozdělí je na různo, jedny od druhých, tak jako pastýř odděluje ovce od kozlů.
33 He will set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
A postaví ovce zajisté na pravici své, kozly pak na levici.
34 Then the King will tell those on his right hand, ‘Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;
Tedy dí Král těm, kteříž na pravici jeho budou: Poďtež požehnaní Otce mého, dědičně vládněte královstvím, vám připraveným od ustanovení světa.
35 for I was hungry and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you took me in.
Nebo jsem lačněl, a dali jste mi jísti; žíznil jsem, a dali jste mi píti; hostem jsem byl, a přijímali jste mne;
36 I was naked and you clothed me. I was sick and you visited me. I was in prison and you came to me.’
Nah, a přioděli jste mne; nemocen jsem byl, a navštívili jste mne; v žaláři jsem seděl, a přicházeli jste ke mně.
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you a drink?
Tedy odpovědí jemu spravedliví, řkouce: Pane, kdy jsme tě vídali lačného, a krmili jsme, neb žíznivého, a dávaliť jsme píti?
38 When did we see you as a stranger and take you in, or naked and clothe you?
Aneb kdy jsme tě viděli hostě, a přijali jsme, neb nahého, a přioděli jsme?
39 When did we see you sick or in prison and come to you?’
Aneb kdy jsme tě viděli nemocného neb v žaláři, a přicházeli jsme k tobě?
40 “The King will answer them, ‘Most certainly I tell you, because you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
A odpovídaje Král, dí jim: Amen pravím vám: Cožkoli jste činili jednomu z bratří těchto mých nejmenších, mně jste učinili.
41 Then he will say also to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels; (aiōnios g166)
Potom i těm na levici dí: Jděte ode mne zlořečení do ohně věčného, kterýž jest připraven ďáblu i andělům jeho. (aiōnios g166)
42 for I was hungry, and you didn’t give me food to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink;
Neboť jsem lačněl, a nedali jste mi jísti; žíznil jsem, a nedali jste mi píti;
43 I was a stranger, and you didn’t take me in; naked, and you didn’t clothe me; sick, and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’
Hostem jsem byl, a nepřijali jste mne; nah, a neodívali jste mne; nemocen a v žaláři, a nenavštívili jste mne.
44 “Then they will also answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and didn’t help you?’
Tedy odpovědí jemu i oni, řkouce: Pane, kdy jsme tebe vídali lačného, neb žíznivého, neb hostě, neb nahého, neb nemocného, aneb v žaláři, a neposloužili jsme tobě?
45 “Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Most certainly I tell you, because you didn’t do it to one of the least of these, you didn’t do it to me.’
Tedy odpoví jim, řka: Amen pravím vám: Čehož jste koli nečinili jednomu z nejmenších těchto, ani mně jste nečinili.
