Matthew 24
1 Jesus went out from the temple, and was going on his way. His disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple.
௧இயேசு தேவாலயத்தைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டுப்போகும்போது, அவருடைய சீடர்கள் தேவாலயத்தின் கட்டிடங்களை அவருக்குக் காண்பிக்க அவரிடத்தில் வந்தார்கள்.
2 But he answered them, “You see all of these things, don’t you? Most certainly I tell you, there will not be left here one stone on another, that will not be thrown down.”
௨இயேசு அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: இவைகளையெல்லாம் பார்க்கிறீர்களே, இந்த இடத்தில் ஒரு கல்லின்மேல் ஒரு கல் இல்லாதபடிக்கு எல்லாம் இடிக்கப்பட்டுப்போகும் என்று உண்மையாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றார்.
3 As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?” (aiōn g165)
௩பின்பு, அவர் ஒலிவமலையின்மேல் உட்கார்ந்திருக்கும்போது, சீடர்கள் அவரிடத்தில் தனிமையில் வந்து: இவைகள் எப்பொழுது நடக்கும்? உம்முடைய வருகைக்கும், உலகத்தின் முடிவிற்கும் அடையாளம் என்ன? எங்களுக்குச் சொல்லவேண்டும் என்றார்கள். (aiōn g165)
4 Jesus answered them, “Be careful that no one leads you astray.
௪இயேசு அவர்களுக்கு மறுமொழியாக: ஒருவனும் உங்களை ஏமாற்றாதபடிக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாக இருங்கள்;
5 For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will lead many astray.
௫ஏனென்றால், அநேகர் வந்து, என் நாமத்தை வைத்துக்கொண்டு: நானே கிறிஸ்து என்று சொல்லி, அநேகரை ஏமாற்றுவார்கள்.
6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren’t troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet.
௬யுத்தங்களையும் யுத்தங்களின் செய்திகளையும் கேள்விப்படுவீர்கள்; கலங்காதபடி எச்சரிக்கையாக இருங்கள்; இவைகளெல்லாம் நடக்கவேண்டியதே; ஆனாலும், முடிவு உடனே வராது.
7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places.
௭மக்களுக்கு விரோதமாக மக்களும், ராஜ்யத்திற்கு விரோதமாக ராஜ்யமும் எழும்பும்; பஞ்சங்களும், கொள்ளைநோய்களும், பூமியதிர்ச்சிகளும் பல இடங்களில் உண்டாகும்.
8 But all these things are the beginning of birth pains.
௮இவைகளெல்லாம் வேதனைகளுக்கு ஆரம்பம்.
9 “Then they will deliver you up to oppression and will kill you. You will be hated by all of the nations for my name’s sake.
௯அப்பொழுது, உங்களை உபத்திரவங்களுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து, உங்களைக் கொலைசெய்வார்கள்: என் நாமத்தினிமித்தம் நீங்கள் எல்லா மக்களாலும் பகைக்கப்படுவீர்கள்.
10 Then many will stumble, and will deliver up one another, and will hate one another.
௧0அப்பொழுது, அநேகர் இடறலடைந்து, ஒருவரையொருவர் காட்டிக்கொடுத்து, ஒருவரையொருவர் பகைப்பார்கள்.
11 Many false prophets will arise and will lead many astray.
௧௧அநேகக் கள்ளத்தீர்க்கதரிசிகளும் எழும்பி, அநேகரை ஏமாற்றுவார்கள்.
12 Because iniquity will be multiplied, the love of many will grow cold.
௧௨அக்கிரமம் பெருகுவதினால் அநேகருடைய அன்பு தணிந்துபோகும்.
13 But he who endures to the end will be saved.
௧௩இறுதிவரை நிலைநிற்பவனே இரட்சிக்கப்படுவான்.
14 This Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
௧௪ராஜ்யத்தினுடைய இந்த நற்செய்தி பூலோகமெங்கும் உள்ள எல்லா மக்களுக்கும் சாட்சியாகப் பிரசங்கிக்கப்படும், அப்போது முடிவு வரும்.
15 “When, therefore, you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),
௧௫மேலும், பாழாக்குகிற அருவருப்பைக்குறித்து தானியேல் தீர்க்கதரிசி சொல்லியிருக்கிறானே, வாசிக்கிறவன் சிந்திக்கவேண்டும். நீங்கள் அதைப் பரிசுத்த இடத்தில் நிற்பதைப் பார்க்கும்போது,
16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
௧௬யூதேயாவில் இருக்கிறவர்கள் மலைகளுக்கு ஓடிப்போகவேண்டும்.
17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take out the things that are in his house.
௧௭வீட்டின்மேல் இருக்கிறவன் தன் வீட்டிலே எதையாவது எடுப்பதற்கு இறங்காமலிருக்கவேண்டும்.
18 Let him who is in the field not return back to get his clothes.
௧௮வயலில் இருக்கிறவன் தன் ஆடைகளை எடுப்பதற்குத் திரும்பாமலிருக்கவேண்டும்.
19 But woe to those who are with child and to nursing mothers in those days!
௧௯அந்த நாட்களிலே கர்ப்பவதிகளுக்கும் பால்கொடுக்கிறவர்களுக்கும் ஐயோ.
20 Pray that your flight will not be in the winter nor on a Sabbath,
௨0நீங்கள் ஓடிப்போவது மழைக் காலத்திலாவது, ஓய்வுநாளிலாவது, நடக்காதபடிக்கு வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.
21 for then there will be great suffering, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever will be.
௨௧ஏனென்றால், உலகம் உண்டானதுமுதல் இதுவரைக்கும் நடக்காததும், இனிமேலும் நடைபெறாததுமான மிகுந்த உபத்திரவம் அப்பொழுது உண்டாயிருக்கும்.
22 Unless those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved. But for the sake of the chosen ones, those days will be shortened.
௨௨அந்த நாட்கள் குறைக்கப்படாமலிருந்தால், ஒருவன்கூட தப்பிப்போவதில்லை; தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களினிமித்தம் அந்த நாட்கள் குறைக்கப்படும்.
23 “Then if any man tells you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘There!’ don’t believe it.
௨௩அப்பொழுது, இதோ, கிறிஸ்து இங்கே இருக்கிறார், அதோ, அங்கே இருக்கிறார் என்று எவனாவது சொன்னால் நம்பாதீர்கள்.
24 For false christs and false prophets will arise, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.
௨௪ஏனென்றால், கள்ளக்கிறிஸ்துக்களும் கள்ளத்தீர்க்கதரிசிகளும் எழும்பி, கூடுமானால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களையும் வஞ்சிக்கத்தக்கதாகப் பெரிய அடையாளங்களையும் அற்புதங்களையும் செய்வார்கள்.
25 “Behold, I have told you beforehand.
௨௫இதோ, முன்னதாக உங்களுக்கு அறிவித்திருக்கிறேன்.
26 “If therefore they tell you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ don’t go out; or ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ don’t believe it.
௨௬ஆகவே: அதோ, வனாந்திரத்தில் இருக்கிறார் என்று சொல்வார்களானால், புறப்படாமலிருங்கள்; இதோ, அறைவீட்டிற்குள் இருக்கிறார் என்று சொல்வார்களானால் நம்பாதீர்கள்.
27 For as the lightning flashes from the east, and is seen even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.
௨௭மின்னல் கிழக்கிலிருந்து தோன்றி மேற்குவரைக்கும் பிரகாசிக்கிறதுபோல, மனிதகுமாரனுடைய வருகையும் இருக்கும்.
28 For wherever the carcass is, that is where the vultures gather together.
௨௮பிணம் எங்கேயோ அங்கே கழுகுகள் வந்து கூடும்.
29 “But immediately after the suffering of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken;
௨௯அந்தநாட்களின் உபத்திரவம் முடிந்தவுடனே, சூரியன் இருளடையும், சந்திரன் ஒளியைக் கொடுக்காமல் இருக்கும், நட்சத்திரங்கள் வானத்திலிருந்து விழும், வானத்தின் வல்லமைகள் அசைக்கப்படும்.
30 and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. Then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.
௩0அப்பொழுது மனிதகுமாரனுடைய அடையாளம் வானத்தில் காணப்படும். அப்பொழுது, மனிதகுமாரன் வல்லமையோடும் மிகுந்த மகிமையோடும் வானத்தின் மேகங்கள்மேல் வருகிறதை பூமியிலுள்ள எல்லாக் கோத்திரத்தார்களும் கண்டு புலம்புவார்கள்.
31 He will send out his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together his chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.
௩௧வலுவாகத் தொனிக்கும் எக்காளசத்தத்தோடு அவர் தமது தூதர்களை அனுப்புவார்; அவர்கள் அவரால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களை வானத்தின் ஒருமுனைமுதல் மறுமுனைவரைக்கும் நாலு திசைகளிலுமிருந்து கூட்டிச்சேர்ப்பார்கள்.
32 “Now from the fig tree learn this parable: When its branch has now become tender and produces its leaves, you know that the summer is near.
௩௨அத்திமரத்தினால் ஒரு உவமையைக் கற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள்; அதிலே இளங்கிளை தோன்றி, துளிர்விடும்போது, வசந்தகாலம் நெருங்கிவிட்டது என்று அறிவீர்கள்.
33 Even so you also, when you see all these things, know that he is near, even at the doors.
௩௩அப்படியே இவைகளையெல்லாம் நீங்கள் பார்க்கும்போது அவர் நெருக்கமாக வாசலின் அருகே வந்திருக்கிறார் என்று தெரிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்.
34 Most certainly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things are accomplished.
௩௪இவைகளெல்லாம் சம்பவிக்கும் முன்னே இந்தச் சந்ததி ஒழிந்துபோகாது என்று, உண்மையாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.
35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
௩௫வானமும் பூமியும் ஒழிந்துபோகும், என் வார்த்தைகளோ ஒழிந்துபோவதில்லை.
36 “But no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
௩௬அந்த நாளையும் அந்த நேரத்தையும் என் பிதா ஒருவர்தவிர மற்றொருவனும் அறியான்; பரலோகத்திலுள்ள தூதர்களும் அறியார்கள்.
37 As the days of Noah were, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.
௩௭நோவாவின் காலத்தில் எப்படி நடந்ததோ, அப்படியே மனிதகுமாரன் வரும்காலத்திலும் நடக்கும்.
38 For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ship,
௩௮எப்படியென்றால், பெருவெள்ளத்திற்கு முன்னான காலத்திலே நோவா கப்பலுக்குள் பிரவேசிக்கும் நாள்வரை, மக்கள் புசித்தும் குடித்தும், பெண் எடுத்தும் பெண் கொடுத்தும்,
39 and they didn’t know until the flood came and took them all away, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.
௩௯பெருவெள்ளம் வந்து அனைவரையும் வாரிக்கொண்டுபோகும்வரை உணராமல் இருந்தார்கள்; அப்படியே மனிதகுமாரன் வரும்காலத்திலும் நடக்கும்.
40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and one will be left.
௪0அப்பொழுது, இரண்டுபேர் வயலில் இருப்பார்கள்; ஒருவன் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படுவான், ஒருவன் கைவிடப்படுவான்.
41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and one will be left.
௪௧இரண்டு பெண்கள் மாவு அரைத்துக்கொண்டிருப்பார்கள்; ஒருத்தி ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படுவாள், ஒருத்தி கைவிடப்படுவாள்.
42 Watch therefore, for you don’t know in what hour your Lord comes.
௪௨உங்களுடைய ஆண்டவர் எந்த நேரத்திலே வருவாரென்று நீங்கள் அறியாதிருக்கிறபடியினால் விழித்திருங்கள்.
43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch of the night the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
௪௩திருடன் இரவிலே எந்த நேரத்திலே வருவானென்று வீட்டெஜமான் அறிந்திருந்தால், அவன் விழித்திருந்து, தன் வீட்டைக் கொள்ளையடிக்கவிடமாட்டான் என்று அறிவீர்கள்.
44 Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don’t expect, the Son of Man will come.
௪௪நீங்கள் நினைக்காத நேரத்திலே மனிதகுமாரன் வருவார்; ஆதலால், நீங்களும் ஆயத்தமாக இருங்கள்.
45 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has set over his household, to give them their food in due season?
௪௫ஏற்ற நேரத்திலே தன் வேலைக்காரர்களுக்கு ஆகாரங்கொடுத்து அவர்களை விசாரிக்கும்படி எஜமான் வைத்த உண்மையும் விவேகமுமுள்ள வேலைக்காரன் யார்?
46 Blessed is that servant whom his lord finds doing so when he comes.
௪௬எஜமான் வரும்போது அப்படிச் செய்கிறவனாகக் காணப்படுகிற வேலைக்காரனே பாக்கியவான்.
47 Most certainly I tell you that he will set him over all that he has.
௪௭தன் ஆஸ்திகள் எல்லாவற்றின்மேலும் அவனை விசாரணைக்காரனாக வைப்பான் என்று உண்மையாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.
48 But if that evil servant should say in his heart, ‘My lord is delaying his coming,’
௪௮அந்த வேலைக்காரனோ பொல்லாதவனாக இருந்து: என் எஜமான் வர நாளாகும் என்று தன் உள்ளத்திலே சொல்லிக்கொண்டு,
49 and begins to beat his fellow servants, and eat and drink with the drunkards,
௪௯தன் உடன்வேலைக்காரர்களை அடிக்கவும், குடிகாரர்களோடு புசிக்கவும் குடிக்கவும் தொடங்கினால்,
50 the lord of that servant will come in a day when he doesn’t expect it and in an hour when he doesn’t know it,
௫0அந்த வேலைக்காரன் நினைக்காத நாளிலும், அறியாத நேரத்திலும், அவனுடைய எஜமான் வந்து,
51 and will cut him in pieces and appoint his portion with the hypocrites. That is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.
௫௧அவனைக் கடினமாகத் தண்டித்து, மாயக்காரர்களோடு அவனுக்குப் பங்கை நியமிப்பான்; அங்கே அழுகையும் பற்கடிப்பும் உண்டாயிருக்கும்.
