Luke 17
1 He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no occasions of stumbling should come, but woe to him through whom they come!
௧பின்பு இயேசு தம்முடைய சீடர்களை நோக்கி: இடறல்கள் வராமல் இருக்கமுடியாது, ஆனாலும் அவைகள் எவனால் வருகிறதோ, அவனுக்கு ஐயோ!
2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.
௨அவன் இந்தச் சிறுவரில் ஒருவனுக்கு இடறல் உண்டாக்குகிறதைவிட, அவனுடைய கழுத்தில் எந்திரக்கல் கட்டப்பட்டு, அவன் கடலில் தள்ளுண்டுபோவது அவனுக்கு நலமாக இருக்கும்.
3 Be careful. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him.
௩உங்களைக்குறித்து எச்சரிக்கையாக இருங்கள். உன் சகோதரன் உனக்கு விரோதமாகக் குற்றம் செய்தால், அவனைக் கடிந்துகொள்; அவன் மனம் வருந்தினால், அவனுக்கு மன்னிப்பாயாக.
4 If he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times returns, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”
௪அவன் ஒருநாளில் ஏழுதரம் உனக்கு விரோதமாகக் குற்றம் செய்து, ஏழுதரமும் உன்னிடத்தில் வந்து: நான் மனம் வருந்துகிறேன் என்று சொன்னால், அவனுக்கு மன்னிப்பாயாக என்றார்.
5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”
௫அப்பொழுது அப்போஸ்தலர்கள் கர்த்த்தரை நோக்கி: எங்களுடைய விசுவாசத்தை பெருகப்பண்ணவேண்டும் என்றார்கள்.
6 The Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you would tell this sycamore tree, ‘Be uprooted and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.
௬அதற்குக் கர்த்தர்: கடுகுவிதையளவு விசுவாசம் உங்களுக்கு உண்டாயிருந்தால், நீங்கள் இந்தக் காட்டத்திமரத்தை நோக்கி: நீ வேரோடு பிடுங்குண்டு கடலிலே நடப்படுவாயாக என்று சொல்ல, அது உங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியும்.
7 But who is there among you, having a servant plowing or keeping sheep, that will say when he comes in from the field, ‘Come immediately and sit down at the table’?
௭உங்களில் ஒருவனுடைய வேலைக்காரன் உழுது அல்லது மந்தையை மேய்த்து வயலிலிருந்து வரும்போது, எஜமான் அவனை நோக்கி: நீ முன்புபோய்ச் சாப்பிட்டுவா என்று அவனுக்குச் சொல்வானோ?
8 Wouldn’t he rather tell him, ‘Prepare my supper, clothe yourself properly, and serve me while I eat and drink. Afterward you shall eat and drink’?
௮நீ எனக்குச் சாப்பாடு ஆயத்தம்பண்ணி, பரிமாறும் உடை அணிந்துக்கொண்டு, ஆகாரம் உட்கொள்ளும்வரை எனக்கு வேலைச்செய், அதற்குப்பின் நீ புசித்துக் குடிக்கலாம் என்று அவனுக்குச் சொல்லுவானல்லவா?
9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded? I think not.
௯தான் கட்டளையிட்டவைகளை அந்த வேலைக்காரன் செய்ததற்காக அவனுக்கு நன்றி சொல்லுவானோ? அப்படிச் செய்யமாட்டானே.
10 Even so you also, when you have done all the things that are commanded you, say, ‘We are unworthy servants. We have done our duty.’”
௧0அப்படியே நீங்களும் உங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிடப்பட்ட யாவற்றையும் செய்தபின்பு: நாங்கள் பயனற்ற வேலைக்காரர்கள், செய்யவேண்டிய கடமையைமட்டும் செய்தோம் என்று சொல்லுங்கள் என்றார்.
11 As he was on his way to Jerusalem, he was passing along the borders of Samaria and Galilee.
௧௧பின்பு அவர் எருசலேமுக்குப் பயணமாகபோகும்போது, அவர் சமாரியா கலிலேயா என்னும் நாடுகளின்வழியாக நடந்துபோனார்.
12 As he entered into a certain village, ten men who were lepers met him, who stood at a distance.
௧௨அவர் ஒரு கிராமத்திற்குள் நுழைந்தபோது, குஷ்டரோகமுள்ள மனிதர்கள் பத்துபேர் அவருக்கு எதிராக வந்து, தூரத்திலே நின்று:
13 They lifted up their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
௧௩இயேசு ஐயரே, எங்களுக்கு இரங்கும் என்று சத்தமிட்டார்கள்.
14 When he saw them, he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” As they went, they were cleansed.
௧௪அவர்களை அவர் பார்த்து: நீங்கள் போய், ஆசாரியர்களுக்கு உங்களைக் காண்பியுங்கள் என்றார். அந்தப்படி அவர்கள் போகும்போது சுகமானார்கள்.
15 One of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice.
௧௫அவர்களில் ஒருவன் தான் ஆரோக்கியமானதைக் கண்டு, திரும்பிவந்து, உரத்த சத்தமாக தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தி,
16 He fell on his face at Jesus’ feet, giving him thanks; and he was a Samaritan.
௧௬அவருடைய பாதத்தருகே முகங்குப்புறவிழுந்து, அவருக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தினான்; அவன் சமாரியனாக இருந்தான்.
17 Jesus answered, “Weren’t the ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
௧௭அப்பொழுது இயேசு: சுகமானவர்கள் பத்துப்பேர் அல்லவா, மற்ற ஒன்பதுபேர் எங்கே?
18 Were there none found who returned to give glory to God, except this foreigner?”
௧௮தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்துகிறதற்கு, இந்த அந்நியனைத்தவிர மற்றொருவனும் திரும்பிவரக்காணோமே என்று சொல்லி,
19 Then he said to him, “Get up, and go your way. Your faith has healed you.”
௧௯அவனை நோக்கி: நீ எழுந்துபோ, உன் விசுவாசம் உன்னை இரட்சித்தது என்றார்.
20 Being asked by the Pharisees when God’s Kingdom would come, he answered them, “God’s Kingdom doesn’t come with observation;
௨0தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யம் எப்பொழுது வருமென்று, பரிசேயர்கள் அவரிடத்தில் கேட்டபொழுது, அவர்களுக்கு அவர் மறுமொழியாக: தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யம் கண்களுக்குத் தெரியும்படியாக வராது.
21 neither will they say, ‘Look, here!’ or, ‘Look, there!’ for behold, God’s Kingdom is within you.”
௨௧இதோ, இங்கே என்றும், அதோ, அங்கே என்றும் சொல்லப்படுகிறதற்கும் ஏதுவாக இருக்காது; இதோ, தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யம் உங்களுக்குள் இருக்கிறதே என்றார்.
22 He said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.
௨௨பின்பு அவர் சீடர்களை நோக்கி: மனிதகுமாரனுடைய நாட்களிலொன்றைக் காணவேண்டுமென்று நீங்கள் ஆசைப்படுங்காலம் வரும்; ஆனாலும் அதைக் காணமாட்டீர்கள்.
23 They will tell you, ‘Look, here!’ or ‘Look, there!’ Don’t go away or follow after them,
௨௩இதோ, இங்கே என்றும், அதோ, அங்கே என்றும், சிலர் உங்களிடம் சொல்லுவார்கள்; நீங்களோ போகாமலும் பின்தொடராமலும் இருங்கள்.
24 for as the lightning, when it flashes out of one part under the sky, shines to another part under the sky, so will the Son of Man be in his day.
௨௪மின்னல் வானத்தின் ஒரு திசையில் தோன்றி மறுதிசைவரைக்கும் பிரகாசிக்கிறதுபோல மனிதகுமாரனும் தம்முடைய நாளிலே தோன்றுவார்.
25 But first, he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
௨௫அதற்கு முன்பு அவர் அநேகம் பாடுகள்பட்டு, இந்தச் சந்ததியினால் ஆகாதவனென்று தள்ளப்படவேண்டியதாக இருக்கிறது.
26 As it was in the days of Noah, even so it will also be in the days of the Son of Man.
௨௬நோவாவின் நாட்களில் நடந்ததுபோல மனிதகுமாரனுடைய நாட்களிலும் நடக்கும்.
27 They ate, they drank, they married, and they were given in marriage until the day that Noah entered into the ship, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
௨௭நோவா பேழைக்குள் பிரவேசித்த நாள்வரை மக்கள் புசித்துக் குடித்தார்கள், பெண் எடுத்தும் பெண் கொடுத்தும் இருந்தார்கள்; பெருவெள்ளம் வந்து எல்லோரையும் அழித்துப்போட்டது.
28 Likewise, even as it was in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;
௨௮லோத்தினுடைய நாட்களில் நடந்ததுபோலவும் நடக்கும்; மக்கள் புசித்தார்கள், குடித்தார்கள், கொண்டார்கள், விற்றார்கள், நட்டார்கள், கட்டினார்கள்.
29 but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and sulfur from the sky and destroyed them all.
௨௯லோத்து சோதோமைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்ட நாளிலே வானத்திலிருந்து அக்கினியும் கந்தகமும் பெய்து, எல்லோரையும் அழித்துப்போட்டது.
30 It will be the same way in the day that the Son of Man is revealed.
௩0மனிதகுமாரன் வெளிப்படும் நாளிலும் அப்படியே நடக்கும்.
31 In that day, he who will be on the housetop and his goods in the house, let him not go down to take them away. Let him who is in the field likewise not turn back.
௩௧அந்த நாளிலே வீட்டின்மேலிருப்பவன் வீட்டிலுள்ள தன் பொருட்களை எடுத்துக்கொண்டுபோக இறங்காமல் இருக்கவேண்டும்; அப்படியே வயலிலிருக்கிறவன் பின்னிட்டுத் திரும்பாமலும் இருக்கவேண்டும்.
32 Remember Lot’s wife!
௩௨லோத்தின் மனைவியை நினைத்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.
33 Whoever seeks to save his life loses it, but whoever loses his life preserves it.
௩௩தன் ஜீவனை இரட்சிக்க வகைதேடுகிறவன் அதை இழந்துபோவான்; இழந்துபோகிறவன் அதை உயிர்ப்பித்துக்கொள்ளுவான்.
34 I tell you, in that night there will be two people in one bed. One will be taken and the other will be left.
௩௪அந்த இரவில் ஒரே படுக்கையில் படுத்திருக்கிற இரண்டுபேரில் ஒருவன் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படுவான், மற்றவன் கைவிடப்படுவான்.
35 There will be two grinding grain together. One will be taken and the other will be left.”
௩௫மாவரைக்கிற இரண்டு பெண்களில் ஒருத்தி ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படுவாள், மற்றவள் கைவிடப்படுவாள்.
௩௬வயலிலிருக்கிற இரண்டுபேரில் ஒருவன் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படுவான், மற்றவன் கைவிடப்படுவான் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றார்.
37 They, answering, asked him, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where the body is, there the vultures will also be gathered together.”
௩௭அவர்கள் அவருக்கு மறுமொழியாக: எங்கே, ஆண்டவரே, என்றார்கள். அதற்கு அவர்: பிணம் எங்கேயோ அங்கே கழுகுகள் வந்து கூடும் என்றார்.
