Leviticus 3

1 “‘If his offering is a sacrifice of peace offerings, if he offers it from the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without defect before Yahweh.

"'Ist seine Opfergabe ein Dankopfer und will er von Rindern sie darbringen, so sei es ein fehlerloses männlich oder weiblich Tier, das man dem Herrn darbringt!

2 He shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the Tent of Meeting. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall sprinkle the blood around on the altar.

Er lege auf den Kopf seiner Opfergabe die Hand und schlachte sie vor der Pforte des Festgezeltes! Die Priester, Aarons Söhne, sollen mit dem Blut den Altar ringsum besprengen!

3 He shall offer of the sacrifice of peace offerings an offering made by fire to Yahweh. The fat that covers the innards, and all the fat that is on the innards,

Dann bringe er von dem Dankopfer dem Herrn ein Mahl, das Fett der Eingeweidedecke sowie alles Eingeweidefett,

4 and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away.

die beiden Nieren und das Fett daran und das an den Lenden und an den Leberlappen! Bei den Nieren soll er es abtrennen!

5 Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar on the burnt offering, which is on the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

Die Aaronssöhne sollen es auf dem Brandopferaltar aufdampfen lassen, auf den Holzscheiten im Feuer, als ein Mahl süßen Duftes für den Herrn!

6 “‘If his offering for a sacrifice of peace offerings to Yahweh is from the flock, either male or female, he shall offer it without defect.

Kommt aber ein Opfer als Dankopfer für den Herrn vom Kleinvieh her, dann sei es ein fehlerloses männlich oder weiblich Tier, das man darbringt!

7 If he offers a lamb for his offering, then he shall offer it before Yahweh;

Will man ein Lamm als Opfer bringen, so bringe man es vor den Herrn

8 and he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it before the Tent of Meeting. Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.

und lege auf den Kopf seines Opfers die Hand und schlachte es vor dem Festgezelt! Die Aaronssöhne sollen mit dem Blut den Altar ringsum besprengen!

9 He shall offer from the sacrifice of peace offerings an offering made by fire to Yahweh; its fat, the entire tail fat, he shall take away close to the backbone; and the fat that covers the entrails, and all the fat that is on the entrails,

Dann bringe man von dem Dankopfer dem Herrn ein Mahl: das Beste, den ganzen Fettschwanz, - dicht am Schwanzbein trenne man ihn ab! - sowie das Fett der Eingeweidedecke und alles andere Eingeweidefett,

10 and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away.

die beiden Nieren und das Fett daran und das an den Lenden und den Leberlappen! Bei den Nieren trenne man es ab!

11 The priest shall burn it on the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire to Yahweh.

Der Priester lasse es auf dem Altar aufdampfen als Mahl für den Herrn!

12 “‘If his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before Yahweh.

Ist aber eine Ziege seine Opfergabe, so bringe er sie vor den Herrn

13 He shall lay his hand on its head, and kill it before the Tent of Meeting; and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.

und lege die Hand auf ihren Kopf und schlachte sie vor dem Festgezelt! Die Aaronssöhne sollen mit dem Blute den Altar ringsum besprengen!

14 He shall offer from it as his offering, an offering made by fire to Yahweh; the fat that covers the innards, and all the fat that is on the innards,

Dann bringe er von seinem Opfer als Mahl für den Herrn das Fett der Eingeweidedecke und alles andere Fingeweidefett,

15 and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away.

die beiden Nieren und das Fett daran und das an den Lenden und an den Leberlappen! Bei den Nieren soll man es abtrennen!

16 The priest shall burn them on the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire, for a pleasant aroma; all the fat is Yahweh’s.

Der Priester lasse es auf dem Altar aufdampfen als Mahl zum süßen Duft! Dem Herrn gehört jedwedes Fett.

17 “‘It shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings, that you shall eat neither fat nor blood.’”

Für eure Geschlechter in all euren Siedlungen gilt allzeit dies Gebot: Fett und Blut dürft ihr nicht genießen.'"
