< John 2 >

1 The third day, there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there.
Olusiku lwa kasatu, mbubhao obhulegesi eyo Kana ya Galilaya na nyilamwene Yesu aligaliwo eyo.
2 Jesus also was invited, with his disciples, to the wedding.
Yesu na bheigisibwa bhaye bhaliga bhakokelwe mubhulegesi.
3 When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no wine.”
Omwanya bhejilebhawelwa na manji gomudhabibu, nyilamwene Yesu nabhabwila ati,”Bhatali na idivai.”
4 Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does that have to do with you and me? My hour has not yet come.”
Yesu nasubya ati,”mugasi awe ndinaki anye nawe? Omwanya gwani anye guchali kwiya.
5 His mother said to the servants, “Whatever he says to you, do it.”
Nyilamwene nabhabwila ati abhakosi,”Chona chona echoalabhabwila jemukole.”
6 Now there were six water pots of stone set there after the Jews’ way of purifying, containing two or three metretes apiece.
Mbe galigaliwo mayombe gatanu na limwi ga mabhui aliya ganu galiga gateyewo koleleki bhesabhega kulusiku olukulu lwa Bhayahudi, bhuli limwi lwaliga no bhutulo bwa misele ebhili esatu.
7 Jesus said to them, “Fill the water pots with water.” So they filled them up to the brim.
Yesu nabhamwila ati, “Mwijushe amanji amayombe ga mabhui.” Nibhejusha na ku bhulege.
8 He said to them, “Now draw some out, and take it to the ruler of the feast.” So they took it.
Nabhamwila ati bhaliya abhakosi, “Mugege woli musilile omukulu wa inenda.” nibhakola kutyo bhabwiliwe.
9 When the ruler of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and didn’t know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast called the bridegroom
Omufulubhendi omukulu ejile agalabha galiya amanji ago gaindukile no kubha amanji go mudhabibu nawe atamenyele enu gasoka (nawe abhakosi abhobhataile amanji bhamenyele eyogasokele). Kutyo namubhilikila omutwasi.
10 and said to him, “Everyone serves the good wine first, and when the guests have drunk freely, then that which is worse. You have kept the good wine until now!”
Namubwila ati,” Bhuli munu kambaga okutulilao abhanu amanji gekisi na bhakatamila nabhayana amanji ago gatali gakisi. Nawe awe wabhika amanji gakisi kukinga woli”
11 This beginning of his signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.
Echikumisho chinu cha Kana ya Galilaya, chaliga chili bwambilo bwe bhibhalikisho ne bhikumisho ebyo akolele Yesu, nelesha likusho lyaye, kutyo abheigisibwa bhaye nibhamwikilisha.
12 After this, he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, his brothers, and his disciples; and they stayed there a few days.
Mbe Ipasaka ya Bhayahudi yaliga ili yei, kutuo Yesu nagenda Yerusalemu. Nabhasanga abhakani bha jing'a, jinama nebhiguti munda ya liyekalu. Nabhainja bha jimpilya bheyanjile mu yekalu.
13 The Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
Mbe Ipasaka ya Bhayahudi yaliga ili yei, kutyo Yesu nagenda Yerusalemu.
14 He found in the temple those who sold oxen, sheep, and doves, and the changers of money sitting.
Nabhasanga abhakani bha jing'a, jinama nebhiguti munda ya liyekalu. Nabhainja bha jimpilya bheyanjile mu yekalu.
15 He made a whip of cords and drove all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers’ money and overthrew their tables.
Yesu nakola olukobha lwe bhisumi, nabhasoshamo bhone abhobhaliga bhalimo mu yekalu, nakumanya jing'a najinama. Neta jimpilya ja bhanu bhainjanga jimpilya naindula jimeja jebwe.
16 To those who sold the doves, he said, “Take these things out of here! Don’t make my Father’s house a marketplace!”
Kwabho bhakanaga ebhiguti nabhabwila ati,” Musosheo ebhinu bhinu, musige kukola inyumba ya lata wani kubha nyumba ya kugusishamo.”
17 His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for your house will eat me up.”
Abheigisibwa bhaye nibhechuka okubha yaliga yandikilwe ati,” Lifubha lya inyumba yao lyandiye.”
18 The Jews therefore answered him, “What sign do you show us, seeing that you do these things?”
Abhakulu bhe chiyaudi nibhasubya, nibhamubwila ati, Ni chibhalikisho ki chinu ulolesha kwo kubha oukola emisango jinu?”
19 Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”
Yesu nabhsubya ati, mulifumye iyekalu linu anye eniinamusha mu siku esatu.”
20 The Jews therefore said, “It took forty-six years to build this temple! Will you raise it up in three days?”
Mbe abhaku bhe Chiyaudi nibhaika ati, yombakilwe myaka makumi gana netanu na gumwi okuyumbaka iyekalu linu kawe owaika oyumbaka kwa siku esatu?”
21 But he spoke of the temple of his body.
Nawe, omwene aikile ku ekalu yo mubhili gwaye.
22 When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he said this, and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said.
Kutyo wejile asuluka okusoka mubhafuye, abheigisibwa bhaye nebhechuka chinu aikile kutyo, mibhekilisha amandiko no bhulaka bhunu Yesu aliga aikile. lol
23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in his name, observing his signs which he did.
Nawe awobhaliga bhali Yerusalemu omwanya gwa Ipasaka, omwanya gwa malya abhanu bhafu bhekilisishe lisina lyaye, bhejile bhakalola ebhikumisha ne bhibhalikisho ejo akolele.
24 But Jesus didn’t entrust himself to them, because he knew everyone,
Nawe Yesu atabheye no mulembe nabho kwo kubha abhamenyele abhanu bhona.
25 and because he didn’t need for anyone to testify concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.
Aliga atakenele omunu wone okumubwila ebya bhanu okubha amenyele echochaliga chilimo mwebhe.
