Jeremiah 32
1 This is the word that came to Jeremiah from Yahweh in the tenth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, which was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar.
੧ਉਹ ਬਚਨ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਦੇ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਦਸਵੇਂ ਸਾਲ ਜੋ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਦਾ ਅਠਾਰ੍ਹਵਾਂ ਵਰ੍ਹਾ ਸੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ
2 Now at that time the king of Babylon’s army was besieging Jerusalem. Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the court of the guard, which was in the king of Judah’s house.
੨ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਦੀ ਫੌਜ ਨੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਘੇਰਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨਬੀ ਉਸ ਕੈਦਖ਼ਾਨੇ ਦੇ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਦੇ ਮਹਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ ਬੰਦ ਸੀ
3 For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, “Why do you prophesy, and say, ‘Yahweh says, “Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he will take it;
੩ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਆਖ ਕੇ ਕੈਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਭਈ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਅਗੰਮ ਵਾਚਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, - ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇਹ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਲਵੇਗਾ?
4 and Zedekiah king of Judah won’t escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, but will surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon, and will speak with him mouth to mouth, and his eyes will see his eyes;
੪ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਕਸਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਨਾ ਬਚੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਸੱਚ-ਮੁੱਚ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੂਹ ਬਦੂਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਅੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਖ ਮਿਲਾ ਕੇ ਵੇਖੇਗਾ
5 and he will bring Zedekiah to Babylon, and he will be there until I visit him,” says Yahweh, “though you fight with the Chaldeans, you will not prosper”’?”
੫ਉਹ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਬਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਰਹੇਗਾ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਨਾ ਲਵਾਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਸਦੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਾਈ ਕਰੋ ਪਰ ਜਿੱਤੋਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ।
6 Jeremiah said, “Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
੬ਤਾਂ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ
7 ‘Behold, Hanamel the son of Shallum your uncle will come to you, saying, “Buy my field that is in Anathoth; for the right of redemption is yours to buy it.”’”
੭ਵੇਖ, ਤੇਰੇ ਚਾਚੇ ਸ਼ੱਲੂਮ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਨਮਏਲ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆ ਕੇ ਆਖੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਖੇਤ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਅਨਾਥੋਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਮੁੱਲ ਲੈ ਲੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਲ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਛੁਡਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੱਕ ਹੈ
8 “So Hanamel my uncle’s son came to me in the court of the guard according to Yahweh’s word, and said to me, ‘Please buy my field that is in Anathoth, which is in the land of Benjamin; for the right of inheritance is yours, and the redemption is yours. Buy it for yourself.’ “Then I knew that this was Yahweh’s word.
੮ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਚਾਚੇ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਨਮਏਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਕੈਦਖ਼ਾਨੇ ਦੇ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਬਚਨ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਖੇਤ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਅਨਾਥੋਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਮੁੱਲ ਲੈ ਲੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਛੁਡਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਹੱਕ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਮੁੱਲ ਲੈ ਲੈ। ਤਦ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਸੀ
9 I bought the field that was in Anathoth of Hanamel my uncle’s son, and weighed him the money, even seventeen shekels of silver.
੯ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਖੇਤ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਅਨਾਥੋਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਾਚੇ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਨਮਏਲ ਤੋਂ ਮੁੱਲ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਤੋਲ ਕੇ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਦੋ ਸੌ ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਚਾਂਦੀ
10 I signed the deed, sealed it, called witnesses, and weighed the money in the balances to him.
੧੦ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਬੈ-ਨਾਮੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਸਖ਼ਤ ਕੀਤੇ, ਮੋਹਰ ਲਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਗਵਾਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਕੰਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੋਲੀ
11 So I took the deed of the purchase, both that which was sealed, containing the terms and conditions, and that which was open;
੧੧ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਬੈ-ਨਾਮੇ ਦੀ ਲਿਖਤ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਹਰ ਲੱਗੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਕਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੀ ਨਕਲ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਲਿਆ
12 and I delivered the deed of the purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, in the presence of Hanamel my uncle’s son, and in the presence of the witnesses who signed the deed of the purchase, before all the Jews who sat in the court of the guard.
੧੨ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਬੈ-ਨਾਮੇ ਦੀ ਲਿਖਤ ਮਹਸੇਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੋਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਨੇਰੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਬਾਰੂਕ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਹਨਮਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਗਵਾਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਬੈ-ਨਾਮੇ ਦੀ ਲਿਖਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਸਖ਼ਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕੈਦਖ਼ਾਨੇ ਦੇ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠੇ ਸਨ ਦਿੱਤੀ
13 “I commanded Baruch before them, saying,
੧੩ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਬਾਰੂਕ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ
14 Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, says: ‘Take these deeds, this deed of the purchase which is sealed, and this deed which is open, and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may last many days.’
੧੪ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਲਿਖਤਾਂ ਲੈ, ਇਹ ਮੋਹਰ ਵਾਲਾ ਬੈ-ਨਾਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੀ ਲਿਖਤ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੇ ਭਾਂਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖ ਭਈ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਣ
15 For Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel says: ‘Houses and fields and vineyards will yet again be bought in this land.’
੧੫ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਘਰ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਗੂਰੀ ਬਾਗ਼ ਇਸ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੇਰ ਮੁੱਲ ਲਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
16 Now after I had delivered the deed of the purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed to Yahweh, saying,
੧੬ਇਸ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਬੈ-ਨਾਮੇ ਦੀ ਲਿਖਤ ਨੇਰੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਬਾਰੂਕ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਕੋਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ
17 “Ah Lord Yahweh! Behold, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you.
੧੭ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਵੇਖ! ਤੂੰ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਸਾਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਬਾਂਹ ਨਾਲ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਕੰਮ ਔਖਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ
18 You show loving kindness to thousands, and repay the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them. The great, the mighty God, Yahweh of Armies is your name:
੧੮ਤੂੰ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਯਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਬਦੀ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਝੋਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਵੱਡਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ
19 great in counsel, and mighty in work; whose eyes are open to all the ways of the children of men, to give everyone according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings;
੧੯ਸੁਲਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਜਿਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਆਦਮ ਵੰਸ਼ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਹਰੇਕ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਫਲ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਦੇਵੇ
20 who performed signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even to this day, both in Israel and among other men; and made yourself a name, as it is today;
੨੦ਜਿਸ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੱਕ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਚੰਭੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਨਾਮ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੱਕ ਹੈ
21 and brought your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, with wonders, with a strong hand, with an outstretched arm, and with great terror;
੨੧ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਚੰਭਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਤਕੜੇ ਹੱਥ ਅਤੇ ਪਸਾਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਬਾਂਹ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਭੈਅ ਨਾਲ ਬਾਹਰ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ
22 and gave them this land, which you swore to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey.
੨੨ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਦੇਸ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿਹ ਦਾ ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਧੀ ਸੀ, ਇੱਕ ਦੇਸ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੁੱਧ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਵਗਦਾ ਸੀ।
23 They came in and possessed it, but they didn’t obey your voice and didn’t walk in your law. They have done nothing of all that you commanded them to do. Therefore you have caused all this evil to come upon them.
੨੩ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਵੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ, ਪਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨਾ ਸੁਣੀ, ਨਾ ਤੇਰੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੱਲੇ, ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਰੀ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਸੱਦ ਲਿਆ
24 “Behold, siege ramps have been built against the city to take it. The city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans who fight against it, because of the sword, of the famine, and of the pestilence. What you have spoken has happened. Behold, you see it.
੨੪ਵੇਖ, ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਲੈ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਤੱਕ ਦਮਦਮੇ ਬਣ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਕਸਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਤਲਵਾਰ, ਕਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਬਵਾ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਸੋ ਉਹ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਦੇਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ
25 You have said to me, Lord Yahweh, ‘Buy the field for money, and call witnesses;’ whereas the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.”
੨੫ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਖੇਤ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਮੁੱਲ ਲੈ ਅਤੇ ਗਵਾਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਕਰਵਾ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਕਸਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
26 Then Yahweh’s word came to Jeremiah, saying,
੨੬ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ
27 “Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?
੨੭ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਸ਼ਰ ਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾਂ। ਕੀ ਕੋਈ ਕੰਮ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਔਖਾ ਹੈ?
28 Therefore Yahweh says: Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he will take it.
੨੮ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, - ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਕਸਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇਹ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਲਵੇਗਾ
29 The Chaldeans, who fight against this city, will come and set this city on fire, and burn it with the houses on whose roofs they have offered incense to Baal, and poured out drink offerings to other gods, to provoke me to anger.
੨੯ਕਸਦੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜਦੇ ਹਨ ਆਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਲਾ ਦੇਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜ ਦੇਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਛੱਤਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਆਲ ਲਈ ਧੂਪ ਧੁਖਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਪੀਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਡੋਲ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਭਈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ
30 “For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have done only that which was evil in my sight from their youth; for the children of Israel have only provoked me to anger with the work of their hands, says Yahweh.
੩੦ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜੁਆਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਰਾ ਉਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੇਰੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੁਰਾ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਿਰਾ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਹੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਇਆ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ
31 For this city has been to me a provocation of my anger and of my wrath from the day that they built it even to this day, so that I should remove it from before my face,
੩੧ਇਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੱਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਅਤੇ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਦੇ ਭੜਕਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੱਗੋਂ ਹਟਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ
32 because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger—they, their kings, their princes, their priests, their prophets, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
੩੨ਨਾਲੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਭਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਭੜਕਾਉਣ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ, ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ, ਜਾਜਕਾਂ, ਨਬੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਨਾਲੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ
33 They have turned their backs to me, and not their faces. Although I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not listened to receive instruction.
੩੩ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਵੱਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਿੱਠ ਕੀਤੀ ਪਰ ਮੂੰਹ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਖਾਇਆ, ਸਗੋਂ ਜਤਨ ਨਾਲ ਸਿਖਾਇਆ ਪਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਾ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਭਈ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਲੈਂਦੇ
34 But they set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to defile it.
੩੪ਸਗੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਅਖਵਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪਲੀਤ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਰੱਖੀਆਂ ਭਈ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ
35 They built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through fire to Molech, which I didn’t command them. It didn’t even come into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.”
੩੫ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਆਲ ਦੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬਨ-ਹਿੰਨੋਮ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ ਬਣਾਏ ਭਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਲਕ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੀ ਲੰਘਾਉਣ ਜਿਹ ਦੀ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਗਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਨਾ ਇਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਹ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਾਉਣ।
36 Now therefore Yahweh, the God of Israel, says concerning this city, about which you say, “It is given into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence:”
੩੬ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਿਹ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਤਲਵਾਰ, ਕਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਬਵਾ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, -
37 “Behold, I will gather them out of all the countries where I have driven them in my anger, and in my wrath, and in great indignation; and I will bring them again to this place. I will cause them to dwell safely.
੩੭ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ, ਗੁੱਸੇ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਕੋਪ ਨਾਲ ਹੱਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਫੇਰ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੈਨ ਨਾਲ ਵਸਾਵਾਂਗਾ
38 Then they will be my people, and I will be their God.
੩੮ਉਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ
39 I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for their good and the good of their children after them.
੩੯ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਲ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਮਾਰਗ ਦਿਖਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਭਈ ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਲਿਆਈ ਲਈ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਡਰਨ
40 I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good. I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me.
੪੦ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਸਦਾ ਦਾ ਨੇਮ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਭਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਨਾ ਹਟਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਭੈਅ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਭਈ ਉਹ ਫੇਰ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਫਿਰ ਨਾ ਜਾਣ
41 Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.”
੪੧ਮੈਂ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਲਿਆਈ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦਿਲ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੱਚ-ਮੁੱਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
42 For Yahweh says: “Just as I have brought all this great evil on this people, so I will bring on them all the good that I have promised them.
੪੨ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਪਰਜਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਲਿਆਂਦੀ ਤਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਭਲਿਆਈ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਹ ਦੀ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ
43 Fields will be bought in this land, about which you say, ‘It is desolate, without man or animal. It is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.’
੪੩ਇਸ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੇਤ ਮੁੱਲ ਲਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਜਿਹ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਵਿਰਾਨ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਦਮ ਅਤੇ ਡੰਗਰ ਨਹੀਂ। ਇਹ ਕਸਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ
44 Men will buy fields for money, sign the deeds, seal them, and call witnesses, in the land of Benjamin, and in the places around Jerusalem, in the cities of Judah, in the cities of the hill country, in the cities of the lowland, and in the cities of the South; for I will cause their captivity to be reversed,” says Yahweh.
੪੪ਉਹ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਨਾਲ ਖੇਤ ਮੁੱਲ ਲੈਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਬੈ-ਨਾਮਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਦਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਮੋਹਰਾਂ ਲਾਉਣਗੇ, ਗਵਾਹ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਦੇਣਗੇ, ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ, ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ, ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਪਹਾੜੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਮੈਦਾਨੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਦੱਖਣ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ।
