James 4

1 Where do wars and fightings among you come from? Don’t they come from your pleasures that war in your members?

১যুষ্মাকং মধ্যে সমৰা ৰণশ্চ কুত উৎপদ্যন্তে? যুষ্মদঙ্গশিবিৰাশ্ৰিতাভ্যঃ সুখেচ্ছাভ্যঃ কিং নোৎপদ্যন্তে?

2 You lust, and don’t have. You murder and covet, and can’t obtain. You fight and make war. You don’t have, because you don’t ask.

২যূযং ৱাঞ্ছথ কিন্তু নাপ্নুথ, যূযং নৰহত্যাম্ ঈৰ্ষ্যাঞ্চ কুৰুথ কিন্তু কৃতাৰ্থা ভৱিতুং ন শক্নুথ, যূযং যুধ্যথ ৰণং কুৰুথ চ কিন্ত্ৱপ্ৰাপ্তাস্তিষ্ঠথ, যতো হেতোঃ প্ৰাৰ্থনাং ন কুৰুথ|

3 You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.

৩যূযং প্ৰাৰ্থযধ্ৱে কিন্তু ন লভধ্ৱে যতো হেতোঃ স্ৱসুখভোগেষু ৱ্যযাৰ্থং কু প্ৰাৰ্থযধ্ৱে|

4 You adulterers and adulteresses, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

৪হে ৱ্যভিচাৰিণো ৱ্যভিচাৰিণ্যশ্চ, সংসাৰস্য যৎ মৈত্ৰ্যং তদ্ ঈশ্ৱৰস্য শাত্ৰৱমিতি যূযং কিং ন জানীথ? অত এৱ যঃ কশ্চিৎ সংসাৰস্য মিত্ৰং ভৱিতুম্ অভিলষতি স এৱেশ্ৱৰস্য শত্ৰু ৰ্ভৱতি|

5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously”?

৫যূযং কিং মন্যধ্ৱে? শাস্ত্ৰস্য ৱাক্যং কিং ফলহীনং ভৱেৎ? অস্মদন্তৰ্ৱাসী য আত্মা স ৱা কিম্ ঈৰ্ষ্যাৰ্থং প্ৰেম কৰোতি?

6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

৬তন্নহি কিন্তু স প্ৰতুলং ৱৰং ৱিতৰতি তস্মাদ্ উক্তমাস্তে যথা, আত্মাভিমানলোকানাং ৱিপক্ষো ভৱতীশ্ৱৰঃ| কিন্তু তেনৈৱ নম্ৰেভ্যঃ প্ৰসাদাদ্ দীযতে ৱৰঃ||

7 Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

৭অতএৱ যূযম্ ঈশ্ৱৰস্য ৱশ্যা ভৱত শযতানং সংৰুন্ধ তেন স যুষ্মত্তঃ পলাযিষ্যতে|

8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners. Purify your hearts, you double-minded.

৮ঈশ্ৱৰস্য সমীপৱৰ্ত্তিনো ভৱত তেন স যুষ্মাকং সমীপৱৰ্ত্তী ভৱিষ্যতি| হে পাপিনঃ, যূযং স্ৱকৰান্ পৰিষ্কুৰুধ্ৱং| হে দ্ৱিমনোলোকাঃ, যূযং স্ৱান্তঃকৰণানি শুচীনি কুৰুধ্ৱং|

9 Lament, mourn, and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.

৯যূযম্ উদ্ৱিজধ্ৱং শোচত ৱিলপত চ, যুষ্মাকং হাসঃ শোকায, আনন্দশ্চ কাতৰতাযৈ পৰিৱৰ্ত্তেতাং|

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you.

১০প্ৰভোঃ সমক্ষং নম্ৰা ভৱত তস্মাৎ স যুষ্মান্ উচ্চীকৰিষ্যতি|

11 Don’t speak against one another, brothers. He who speaks against a brother and judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge.

১১হে ভ্ৰাতৰঃ, যূযং পৰস্পৰং মা দূষযত| যঃ কশ্চিদ্ ভ্ৰাতৰং দূষযতি ভ্ৰাতু ৰ্ৱিচাৰঞ্চ কৰোতি স ৱ্যৱস্থাং দূষযতি ৱ্যৱস্থাযাশ্চ ৱিচাৰং কৰোতি| ৎৱং যদি ৱ্যৱস্থাযা ৱিচাৰং কৰোষি তৰ্হি ৱ্যৱস্থাপালযিতা ন ভৱসি কিন্তু ৱিচাৰযিতা ভৱসি|

12 Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?

১২অদ্ৱিতীযো ৱ্যৱস্থাপকো ৱিচাৰযিতা চ স এৱাস্তে যো ৰক্ষিতুং নাশযিতুঞ্চ পাৰযতি| কিন্তু কস্ত্ৱং যৎ পৰস্য ৱিচাৰং কৰোষি?

13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow let’s go into this city and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit.”

১৩অদ্য শ্ৱো ৱা ৱযম্ অমুকনগৰং গৎৱা তত্ৰ ৱৰ্ষমেকং যাপযন্তো ৱাণিজ্যং কৰিষ্যামঃ লাভং প্ৰাপ্স্যামশ্চেতি কথাং ভাষমাণা যূযম্ ইদানীং শৃণুত|

14 Yet you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.

১৪শ্ৱঃ কিং ঘটিষ্যতে তদ্ যূযং ন জানীথ যতো জীৱনং ৱো ভৱেৎ কীদৃক্ তত্তু বাষ্পস্ৱৰূপকং, ক্ষণমাত্ৰং ভৱেদ্ দৃশ্যং লুপ্যতে চ ততঃ পৰং|

15 For you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.”

১৫তদনুক্ত্ৱা যুষ্মাকম্ ইদং কথনীযং প্ৰভোৰিচ্ছাতো ৱযং যদি জীৱামস্তৰ্হ্যেতৎ কৰ্ম্ম তৎ কৰ্ম্ম ৱা কৰিষ্যাম ইতি|

16 But now you glory in your boasting. All such boasting is evil.

১৬কিন্ত্ৱিদানীং যূযং গৰ্ৱ্ৱৱাক্যৈঃ শ্লাঘনং কুৰুধ্ৱে তাদৃশং সৰ্ৱ্ৱং শ্লাঘনং কুৎসিতমেৱ|

17 To him therefore who knows to do good and doesn’t do it, to him it is sin.

১৭অতো যঃ কশ্চিৎ সৎকৰ্ম্ম কৰ্ত্তং ৱিদিৎৱা তন্ন কৰোতি তস্য পাপং জাযতে|
